Your videos are definitely a source of entertainment for us. We, on occasion, love to get a bottle of wine and spend the evening with UA-cam (MOG included) and just chill. Thanks for the videos.
Love orchid No. 6 (purple and yellow Catt) and the Jungle Catt but my vote goes for the Peaches (No. 1). It has flowers everywhere - which is awesome!
I will find a Jimminy Cricket, I am entranced by that bloom
I love love love the salmon pink of the Ascofineria Peaches! And you can never have too many Cattleya blooms 😍
I absolutely love this video and yes it would great to see African Violets
I love fragrant orchids. I have miltoniopsis Lillian Nakamoto in bloom on 2 spikes right now. I love it! It is fragrant, citrusy, and not overwhelming. It is the first time it bloomed for me. I got it in March, it had a dry flower spike, so I wasn't sure if it would bloom till next year. I have it in LECA, and I water it by submerging once a day (for an hour or two).
Yes, please, to african violet vids. I'm super curious to learn about their diversity and care. Thank you!
Your orchids are so so so beautiful, I love them. Thanks for sharing!
I love your videos. Please post African violets too. Thank you.
Say yes to the African Violet!
Absolutely adore your video’s!! YES... would love to see you incorporate violets and mini Phals in arrangements. 😄😄😄
African violets-yes!!!
Can I please thank you for how much your videos have helped me! I have never taken care of orchids before and I got one at the end of June that is now sprouting a healthy new leaf for me. Thank you so much for your vieos and explanations.
I LOVE the Paphiopedilum!! I liked it pendant :)
What a treat! Beautiful!!! Great start for this month :)
African violets - childhood passion. So million times Yes!!!
I'd love to see some African violets videos as well! Your techniques and explanations are full of so much knowledge and detail.
Hi, I love your little vanda peaches. It is so cute. I finally got one of my little vandas to bloom after 2 years. All your other blooms are beautiful too. Enjoy!😀
Hi Danny! I have been here watching your videos and I love them thanks for everything!!!
Love to know about African Violets!
african violets yes please!! :3
Your plants are putting on a beautiful show! Have a great day :)
Love them all Danny!!! How lucky you are!!! Thanks for the update
I love the dark purple catlea and the salmon one at the beginning that was salmon! I don’t have a vanda or a cattlea in my collection! So many to choose from I love them all!!
Love your orchids in bloom - they are all beautiful. I vote for Zygopetalum - I love it 🥰
I vote for #6 Hsin Buu Lady! Love the purple!
Beautiful orchids 👍
Maybe do some mini phalaenopsis with some hoya's. I have 3 mini pals that I rescued & this year they were terrific in an opened wooden basket. They all bloomed around the same time & I just loved it.
Hi Dani, I love 💘this series. Your orchids are so pretty and healthy. I would love a video on Hoya care for beginners. I just purchased my first two and I remember seeing one of your older videos showcasing the Hoya. Thanks so much all of the great information.
Can you do a greenhouse tour and balcony tour sometime?
i love the colour of the orchid
Awesome vid Danni! I think we have the same mini phal! The color, shape, the lip and throat look exactly the same! My plant is also nice and small and I don't have an ID for her sadly, but she is my first phal to rebloom and is a sweet little thing in the collection! 😊 Have a wonderful day!
Love that you watch Garden Answers!
Wow I love your mini phal it's beautiful. Have a blessed month .
Hi Danny. So many lovely orchids. I have chosen the dendrobium parishii as my orchid for this mounth but it was a close one. Thank you for your lovely videos
Yes would love African violet videos
Regarding the Parviflorae series of the genus Cattleya, yes they used to be called rupicolous Laelias, I think most people find them a challenge to grow (as a species, not in hybrids.) Though I had several hybrids that did well for me, the one time I tried a species I killed it (too cold outdoors where I grew.) And though they used to be called rupicolous, some don't grow on rocks but do grow on twigs. Don't know how commonly you can find them in European nurseries.
Oh my goodness I also love the Mililar! Not sure on spellings!🤪
would love some African violets!
I realy enjoy every minute of the looong video! (Not so long to me 😋) you and your orchids are amazing, so continue like that.
Very jealous of all of your beautiful orchids 😍 I may have ‘accidentally’ gone to the garden centre and purchased another orchid after watching this video 😂
Hi, I bought a miltoniopsis red tide and she rebloom but the flowers are completely deferent as well !!
Help!
I have many different types of orchids in several different types of medium but the paphiopediums have been my undoing.
I live in SW Florida-We normally have a wet summer pattern with breezy conditions. This summer we have not had the breezy conditions but have had higher temps so I have my phrags on my lanai under fans in semi - hydro & loving it but I have my paphiopediums indoors. They are in a fairly constant temp of 78 degrees with humidity sl. less then 50% & doing awful.
I had them in repot-me mix & they looked better then I noticed what looked like rot in the inner aspect of one plants fan. Next the new leaf growth turned yellow/brown. Lower leaf apexes also suffering. (I use tap water for them).
I removed dead tissue & treated with cinnamon. Checked & once again trimmed dead roots (not many, since I think l caught it in time). Changed the medium to sphagnum moss & am hoping for the best especially since I plan on watering them from the bottom now. I was very careful not to get water in the crowns before but....
I heard these plants don't like high temps, or high to medium indirect light so I have been keeping them before & presently in a low light environment with good air movement. Now I am thinking of putting them outside in the same conditions as the phrags- bright indirect light, high humidity, great air movement but in sphagnum moss & in another pot so I too will not have to deal with algae & see what happens.
What do you all think? I would appreciate any suggestions esp since this is an expensive hobby & I would hate to lose any more of these plants. Thanks
I recently bought a Slc called Indian Summer by a nursery here in Denmark that looks remarkably like your number 6. I just can't find the Slc Indian Summer anywhere so I guess it is not a registered name 😂 I really like this orchid so it really doesn't matter 😊
It is a tie between number 6 and the Cattleya jungle eyes - I think Jungle eyes win 🤩
Love the jiminy cricket.
Thank you for your video! :) You mentioned that you are looking for the Zygo which smells like hyacinths! In my country they sell them in Autumn as a more common orchid in one particular store. If you want, I can send you one as a gift. :)
Can you do more videos on fragrant orchids please? Thank you.
Hi Danny, what is the last Dendrobium with yellow flowers and mottled leaves??
Hi. Really enjoy your videos. Wondering if you would share your method of tracking progress of each orchid. Thank you
Hi Denny my name is Brenda can you find cat litter in the supermarket locally or not
I'm trying to just watch a bunch of your "Orchids In Bloom" to keep me from orchid shopping, but I don't think it's working ☺
Is that Aerides houlletiana Alba ?
I think they are all beautiful do you mist your plants
Hi, thank you! :) No I don't.
Love it!! Looking for the Brassavola and older African Violet video your referencing
Oops I forgot to add them, just put them in the description :)
@@MissOrchidGirl Thank you so much, Dani!!! :)
Hi, I was wondering what is an affordable medium for me to use if I want to change my phalaenopsis' soil? P. S: I live in the UK if that helps. Thank you 😊
Hi, try to find orchid bark at your local garden centers or flower shops. If possible try to go for quality bark, rather than cheap mixes with soil. You'll have a much better time in the long run.
Hi Danni! Always love your videos!!! FYI: citrus is pronounced with a shirt "i" sound, like in igloo and not a long "i" sound, like in ice cream. Keep up the good work.
Very informative
Seeing the orchid tag, I'm not surprised by the zygo.. 🙄😬
👍👍👍
Hi D! I’m looking for your email address but couldn’t find it so far! I have to ask you one question about one of my orchids, I really need help. How can I send picture of it to you ? It has no roots but it’s giving 2 keikis between leaves...
African violets and asian violets are beautiful.
I would love to win an orchid from your 200k giveaway. I live in the United States (Tucson, Arizona)
