      @@DjMartiniMidwest you know what, I do have a question. I've been trying to figure this out for days. I'm fairly new at making music and DJ and I used to back in 1980s in Chicago I was there when house music started so, I have a love for it. But now I got the cdjs 2000 Nexus 2s, and I didn't have enough money for the mixer, so I just bought the behringer DDM 4000. It's crazy because, if I hook it up to virtual DJ, one sounds good but the other one sounds as if it's scratchy. As if it's playing like an old school record or something. So I also have record box, but wrecker box won't even pick up the mixer. The mixer is just a mixer it's not a mixer and a sound card. So I don't know if I'm missing somewhere in record box where you can adjust it or something but I've been doing this for days and maybe the good Lord's lead me to you to figure this out too. LOL, cuz I've been really struggling with this. I'm like I got this stuff but I can't even hook things up. Then I got the JBL 612, but even those don't sound right completely, I think I need an amp now so yeah this can get pretty expensive and I don't have the money like that so. So about the mixer with the record box because I do have the CDLs I'm sorry CDJS, I mean what do you think just a suggestion???? Whenever you feel like you can answer it take your time I'm in no rush. But I do appreciate you thank you and I'm from the Midwest Chicago so God bless you

      @@willievaughn6474 I agree Dj equipment is so expensive these days and a total investment for professional use / or a expensive hobby. Also CDJ’s , using turntables , analog mixers , have all changed alot for today’s dj software.
      Laptops /mp3 files / now streaming music digitally on the fly have all replaced vinyl , tapes , & cds. There Are Still a few old school dj’s but they still use digital vinyl setups. Unless for a vintage setup at home . If you are building up a great home system for your cds or vinyl collections. I would sell older equipment and save up for a new digital setup / then pick up your favorite items as you can or … My opinion and Advise is to just get back into the fun of Djing by ... Just purchasing the full version of on of your favorite softwares : Rekordbox, VDJ , Serato, Traktor ... then buy a reasonably priced Controller that is compatible with your DJ software you have picked .
      Maybe I will make a video in the future with some options & thoughts on getting back into DJing topic. (Thanks for the idea) . There are alot of valued controller options That are great and work well with their chosen software. Then slowly you can build up your equipment back to your desire . Newly released equipment is always tempting but not needed necessary. I only splurge on just released equipment occasionally for my channel reviews. Plus I’m always looking for deals , Amazon warehouse deals , sales, or eBay listings. A simple controller , Laptop, and your favorite dj software.. can do all two CDJ’s and a mixer can do . Also with the right cables will still connect to your JBL’s and sound good!
      I just upgraded my JBL’s to the 700 series but I really liked my JBL’s Eon612 easy to use , sound was clean , and loud. Thanks.

    Why’d you add the Avante’s in? Didn’t look like there was a huge amount of people. Was it for db or coverage? Thanks.

      Thanks for watching and your question. Just last minute changes .. I had them with me so I said why not . They were suppose to be on a stage (more in the middle) but I was moved to a corner. Was a bigger venue ..Ended up with Avante’s up front and the ProRecks on the wall up as high as I could. Thanks .

    are you using the mixer from the speaker or do you have an external amp?

    Would you recommend 2 club 4000 or a club 8000 ?

    • @DjMartiniMidwest
      @DjMartiniMidwest  Рік тому

      Just depends on what your using it for? 4000 is lighter and more portable. Medium size gigs “ 100-200 people “. 8000 is 2 subs and 2 large arrays . 8000 Bigger gig ready. Both are similar sounding and good units . My opinions.
