PRO TIPS: 1. Don't use Knockback II and Fire Aspect II on your sword while using the farm. 2. If you're using OP Auto Clicker 3.0 make sure that its click interval is 1 sec and 500 milliseconds (I ran the farm for 2 hours and not a single vex has spawned) 3. Make sure you fill your inventory with anything or you will end up with a big messy inventory. 4. If the raid doesn't fire even if you build everything correctly, try getting bad omen starting the raid at the farm, and wait for it to go halfway through the progress bar. 5. When the farm is at its full speed you can go to your storage check the overflow and get back to the farm easily (Vexes will not spawn) feel free to do it. 6. 10:28 he says everything should be in the same chunk, but there are 8 pieces of Redstone in the southwest corner that are not in the same chunk, don't worry that is fine. 7. if your comparator is turning on when it shouldn't, it's because the rail you broke fell into the hopper and that makes the dropper activate the comparator, make sure to empty the dropper. ALL THE BEST FOR ALL OF YOU 👍 EDIT: THIS RAID FARM IS USELESS IN 1.21 LOL GOOD LUCK. Reason: Omnious Bottles. You can't be afk at the farm you need to constantly drink the ominous bottles to start the raid.
If your raid is starting but then mysteriously disappearing without anything spawning, double check all villager pod locations and make sure they are perfectly placed. I was having issues and realized I built one pod exactly one block too high, so I fixed it and the farm started to work fine. Hope this helps
To anyone where the raid disspears. I recommend literally going through each pod in the world download and sceeenshotting and then manually changing composters. also go theough all redstone make sure repeaters are on 1 tick, everything is there, also missed an observer. once i went through each one i finally finally got it to work
it's possible to run this on easy mode, but you need to ensure that if you have the captain bank, all must be dead, its prone to breaking but it does work
PAPER MC pointers below This farm is great :) I built it on paper mc. Which meant figuring out what was different in the world download. Here's some pointers to other building this on paper. 2 parts of the farm are different, the player area and the spawning area. It took me a while to notice the spawning area was different XD. Just use spectator mode in a single player world in the world download to identify the changes. You can start 2 instances of minecraft by keeping the launcher open, which is a setting in the launcher. 1. For the spawning area it's important to note that the stairs in front of the lava need to be waterlogged! (you can only see this if you remove the other water sources) 2. For the player area, note that some of the redstone will have to be moved 2 blocks up! 3. The collection system and all of the villager pods/tower are exactly the same. 4. In case someone is stupid like me, if you accidentally destroy some redstone with lava or water, don't forget the single repeaters in the redstone lines on the piston platforms need to have 2 ticks delay when you replace them :) Hope this saves someone some time with trial and error ;-)

@@ceommad use whatever block works for a beacon, iron is usually the easiest cuz of farms. personally i didn't use a beacon but it is necessary if you are in hard mode because of starving.
if your comparator is turning on when it shouldnt, its because the rail you broke fell into the hopper and that makes the dropper activate the comparator, make sure to empty the dropper
For anyone who may be wondering, this works in 1.20.4 vanilla and should work in a realm. I recommend extending the auto sorting system to include: - Sticks chest - Sugar chest - Spider eyes chest - Glass bottle chest 4 chests isn't enough to contain the other items like totems, weapons, etc.
Tip: If the raid doesnt fire even if you build everything correct, try getting bad omen starting the raid at the farm, wait for it to go half way through the progress bar. Set renderdistance to 2, get bad omen again and go to the farm. this made it work for me
It doesn't need to be near a pillager outpost. I just build mine in the ocean and have a nether portal (with slabs on top) that takes me to a pillager outpost. Then if you watch Ian's video, in the end, he shows how to make a captain bank with two walls, a boat, a trapdoor, and three glass and you don't have to visit the outpost again.
Great tutorial. For anyone having trouble getting this farm to work, it's really important to get the timing right. I can't use an auto clicker on the server I play on and I found that if you go in and just start swinging your sword like on any other mob farm, it won't work. You have to slow it way down. It's best at right around 40 swings per minute. I played a 40 BPM metronome on my phone while running the farm and I finally was able to get it working consistently. Play with the volume up and once you start getting lots of raids you can start to follow the rythem of the farm. The pillagers will make their Argh! moise twice after you swing once the farm is cranking. It goes SwingARGH-argh-SwingARGH-argh. You can also hear how long it takes without a raid by listening for all the pistons to fire to get an idea of the timing. The other things I found that helped were to wait for the raid bar to go up 50%-75% before stepping on the pressure plate and to keep on swinging at least 10 times before you assume it's not working. Sometimes it takes a long time to get going, but after a few minutes at the right speed you can have a raid bar more than half the time. Sometimes it'll die off for a minute, then pick back up. If you end up getting swarmed by vexes, go outside to fight them off. They're impossible to fight in close quarters, but not so bad outside. You can often go back in and get the raid started again if there's still mobs in the farm.
Oh my god to anyone who's struggling with the farm not working make sure you go to the villager pod on top and make sure the villager is INSIDE the composter and not standing on top of it
@@Brainpaste24 the stairs can stay, the top villager right under the big glass platform with the wall needs to be pushed into the composter, so his feet are literally inside it. Can confirm, this is super important to keep the farm going, ty kind sir @l0nic391
rare issue, but be sure to make sure that all the redstone/red stone repeaters are all there and connected! i know some of the redstone came apart due to water falling on it because i placed a block wrong in the villager pod. hope this helped someone …
came to the comments because this literally just happened to me. pretty sure some of the pistons double triggered when building the kelpevator and moved the positions of the composters which made me misplace water.
Check the villager pods and observers in the correct place and height also check redstone in the farm and make sure villagers take the right composter i had this mistakes i fixed that after 4 hours then it worked hope this helps
I had the hardest time getting this to work until I realized the problem was that at one point I broke the armor stand and manually picked one out of the dropper and put it down. If you do this it completely destroys the system until you put the original amount on the top dropper and make sure there isn’t any others in them. For anyone who may be wondering, I found that my pistons were not firing when I touched the pressure plate nor when I hit the armor stand. The solution I found after several hours turns out to be an issue with my water sources. One block above the magma/soul sand was not a water source, therefore, non of the water above updated for the observer blocks. After replacing it as a water source, it worked perfectly with no issues. I hope this helps someone!
this might be my issue but for now do you have any advice on how to get rid of the raid thats already there. It spawned but my pistons arent firing and I think it might be the watter colum btu that raid and vexes keep bothering me. Any advice?
@@dragonrider7366 in order to get rid of them, you can just wait for them to despawn or just kill them. Avoid killing the captain by your own hands; fall damage, fire damage, etc. Works to kill him without spawning another raid. You can despawn them by leaving the area by 128 blocks. Hope that works.

2250ms = 42stacks redstone/hr Emerald blocks are now unlocked for buildings and after 30mins afk I have enough redstone to finish my sugarcane farm. Incredible!

If you're having issues with the farm, also check the exact position of composters. I just spent 2 hours troubleshooting and found out one of the pods had the composters inverted (the upper side had the composter on the bottom, the lower side had the composter on top)
when did you realize something was wrong? for me the raid bar shows up and the bad omen badge appears when i kill the captain, and when i go get in position the raid bar fills up then disappears without spawning a raid.

For those in 1.20.4 vanilla server 9:14 Ad extra two two-tick-repeater to slow down the red stone signal, then your farm will being normal(= the piston are able to push the platform back and forth, and let the pillager drop to the killing chamber). 11:36 do the same thing as above-mentioned

Thank you this wasn’t my problem however it made me realize the repeaters were backwards. Also for anyone who sees this fire aspect deletes armor stands and breaks the farm
Some problems I encountered: If your armor stands disappear, use a sword that doesn't have fire aspect, that destroys the armor stands We switched our world to a backup copy because we wanted to add a datapack, resetting the world to easy mode. If the raids are ending, make sure your world is on hard mode.

AFTER 3 GODDAMN MONTHS THIS FINALLY IS WORKING ON MY SERVER (built it with iron gear, server went dead for a bit, had to spend ages trying to get villies with the enchantments and other shenanigans)
If you use bonemeal for the kelp make sure when adding the stairs and water to your villager pods that you destroy and replace the composters so the right one has space for a stair and water
*** FIX FOR VEXES KEEP KILLING / NOT WORKING *** - Farm is still working 1.20.4 If vexes are killing you, you need to verify you have Sweeping edge as well as sharpness v. I've got the beacon giving me strength as well. You will also need to use the autoclicker. If the farm isn't working, check if you're on a paper server. You need to download the paper version's world file in the description and make those changes, only to the magma/soulsand platform and the main killing chamber. If the farm is loading a raid but never starting, you have built something incorrectly, or you're using the Vanilla version on a Paper server.
When I built this farm I had problems with the composters inside the villager pods. After making the bubble elevator the pistons moved the composters differently than in the video. After fixing that manually everything worked fine.
As shown in the starting of the video the soul sand that he placed at 14 14 14 sub-chunk coordinates, lies on the surface level of the water whereas in my world while placing a observer at 14 14 14 sub-chunk coordinate it lies 1 block beneath the surface level of water, i.e, the surface level of water is x 15 z. [I am playing on 1.20.1] Edit: I was just too dumb to understand early but now I found it that sand soul is not a full block and is .25% less so when standing on it your actually at x 14 z sub-chunk coordinate
If anyone is having problems with the farm, here might be the reasons: -Your villager pods might be misplaced. Be sure to double check if you have built them exactly as shown -Make sure the villager on the very top is IN the composter and not just on top of it -Some of the redstone you have placed earlier during the build might have been accidentally destroyed (this was my case) -Make sure the observers are placed EXACTLY like they are in the video -Double check your repeaters to see if they are set at the right tick -While using the farm, DO NOT use a sword with fire aspect on it, otherwise it will destroy the armor stand -Walk on the pressure plate once the raid is started -Use a sword with sharpness V, Unbreaking III, Mending, Sweeping edge III, and Looting III -Break all the temporary blocks -Make the farm AT LEAST 6 chunks from land -For the item sorter, place every hopper correctly and be sure there ins't a strong redstone signal where the comparators are. If the comparaters light up, it means that there is a problem Hope this helped 👍
question? so the farm works but like 1 minute in while the farm is working I keep dying to vexes. like 30 of them will spawn and come straight thru the blocks and come kill me, is it because I don't have sweeping edge on my sword?
other than that the whole farm is built correctly, checked everything at least 3 times on your list as well. I have mobs spawning but the only problem is the vexes coming thru the blocks and attacking me
If you have problems with vexes it's probably because a) you don't have sharpness V on your sword b) you didn't set your autoclicker to 1150ms c) you play on bedrock. I know this farm was mostly designed for java users so they might have some problems on the bedrock version. I haven't tested it on bedrock, so take what i said with a grain of salt @chp3778
As someone who spent hours fixing the build, here is a list of mistakes i made so if your farm isn't working, check if you made the same mistake I did: 8:49 and the other similar layer, slab does not work, it has to be a block, I used slabs by mistake and it will not move the piston. 2:32 make sure the repeater is in the right direction. For all village pod, because the video uses kelp after placing villager pod, it might be moved to wrong place, I suggest you to download the world and run the world at the same time of running your own world to compare the villager pod position, it must be exact or it won't work. that was the 3 mistake I made and how to solve them. I hope this post saves some headache, I know not everyone will have the same issue as mine, but for those who do, hope this helps.
Important If you have a ravager going out, please replace the composter with a lava-filled cauldron. To do this, simply replace the composter on the diagonal from the central cauldron. If you don't replace them instantly when you do, the water will break the redstone circuit, so you need to install the cauldrons as soon as you break the composters!

So I build this farm months ago in vanilla Minecraft and couldn't get a second wave to spawn. Since than I am now at version 1.20.4 (Java Edition) and am using Sidium&Iris and it works perfectly. I am completely unaware if something changed or it's the mod that got it to work, but either way I am rather happy now. Especially since I need a lot of glowstone and redstone for my upcomming auto-sorter storage project.
Make sure you didn’t break any redstone that was my problem and on the spawning layer, where there is a torch, put a redstone dust that fixed it for me
If you're playing on normal and the raid keeps disappearing when you start it Short version: get bad omen 5 by killing multiple raid captains before starting/going to your farm. Long version: 1 problem i encountered is when i try to start the farm it just disappears after a few seconds after starting the raid. I'm on normal difficulty and cant change it as im playing in a realm, the farm won't work just by killing 1 raid captain cause it'll give you bad omen 1, so i tried killing 5 of them to get bad omen 5 and the farm works. ( Havent tried starting the farm with bad omen 2,3, and 4 yet )
For anyone whos pistons or magma blocks are NOT FIRING, when hitting the armor stand, check to make sure you got ONE armor stand dispensed out ON TOP of the DROPPER as shown in 2:49
thank you very much for making tutorial on this farm! It was kinda hard to make because i didnt have aqua affinity so i drowned like 7 times while putting the kelp. But in the end it was definitely worth it!
respiration... I dont want you enchanting your gear and then figuring out that all aqua affinity does is make it easier to mine blocks underwater... respiration helps with the air bubbles
works really well in 1.19.4, but make sure to replace the fire with something else like maybe soul fire because there will be so many items that some of them wont burn and just stack up in the ocean and cause lag
This farm is incredible. I built it slightly wrong in a couple parts which I had to investigate why it was not working. Once I figured it out it was incredible. The genius that made this farm should run the government.
For me problem with this farm has low simulation distance, i just set an alt account on the third villager, after these steps, farm started working just fine. Note: if you're playing in singleplayer or you're hosting server or you have close contacts with server owner just set sim. distance on 8-12.
If your farm stop after a while from it working it’s probably a problem with the raid center shift Make sure when u hit the armor stand your villagers lose there jobs and then get them back By the compost moving a block using the pistions
for those who play on servers on "paper": if your observer does not respond to the string, you can put a pressure plate instead of the string. i put a wooden one, i did not check others. that is, you do not need to build another version of the farm. personally, i did this and it worked for me. i play on the server on "paper"
Tip for anybody on 1.20.4 (Bukkit): if your farm is not working, check 2 things: 1) redstone (repeaters especially), 2) position of the villagers' pod (chunk positions, height). If everything's OK, but still the raid dissappears, go immediately to the killing place, don't waste your time by standing somewhere else. Just run inside as fast as you can and then start clicking every 1.5/2s. I had a problem, where I couldn't get the farm running, later I found out that I missed 2 repeaters (the upper floors should be moving, when you hit the stand, but mine didn't), and also, i was waiting till the raid bar completes (which is wrong as well).
Anyone who has come across the problem of ravagers glitching out of the killing chamber and flooding the outside of the farm? If so did you manage to fix it? any help would be really apreciated at this point! :D
DISCLAIMER: if you changed your composters in the pods to make it look like how his did, change them back! I changed it because I thought I got it wrong and it made the raid spawn 1 wave then dissapear! You have to make sure literally EVERYTHING is in the correct place for this to work! Download the world and take pictures! its the best way to find out whats wrong!
How much automatic would you want it to be? Because you can configure a 9x smelter with a chest boat, 18 hoppers(nine of them pointing to their respective furnace and the other 9 chaining to the output container) and 2 walls(which are used to align the chest boat on top of the 9 upper hoppers). The fuel would need to be inserted manually but for that I would recommend to use high burn time from coal/charcoal and up. The input of the smelter is the chest boat, the items then would be drained by the 9 hoppers and easy peasy lemon squeezy, you've got a super smelter that fits mostly un a 3x3 area. Basically if [h] are hoppers, [f] are furnaces and [w] are walls. Also let's call [a] air. You would build it like this: Base level: 9 hoppers in a square hhh hhh hhh Chain them to your output container of preference. Layer 2, now we're smeltin' fff fff fff To refuel the middle one, you need to look below the upper hoppers. Layer 3, these are the upper hoppers hhh hhh hhh All of them need to point down to their respective furnace. As i said before, look below these to refuel the middle furnace. Layer 4, the last step awa aaw aaa Then you need to spawn the chest boat, put it at the central hopper and align it with the walls. That's it, that's the smelter. Now enjoy your speed!
In my case the unstackable items were not burning and they made a lot of lag so place a building block before the netherrack and spawnproof it with a button
if anyones wondering it works great in 1.20.4 if its not working check the villager at the top if hes in the composter and also you might want to add more storage as the amount they have shown here isnt nearly enough

For those who still want to use the armor stand in a paper server, use a calibrated skulk sensor with 9 Redstone between the sensor and redstone block. this will trigger the sensor when armor stand is hit.
I mean, Ian had a perfectly fine tutorial on his channel, y'all didn't really need to make another one. I know you gave credit to him and all, but he put a lot of time into designing the farm and you are getting views for his hard work. I hope you talked with him about using his design in a video.

Pro tip: for the kelp, you can place 1 kelp on the dirt and then bone meal it all the way till it reaches the top and then detroy the kelp from the bottom
please I don't understand, every time I launch a raid on my farm the raid is suddenly removed for I don't know what reason and the rare times the raid spawns the raiders spawn sometimes on pistons or others please help me!
make sure that on 0:50 your chunk location is correct and all the villager pods are in accurate location and to use this farm dont use a sword that has fire aspects in it and this farm is not necessary to build beside an outpost u can make it anyware but you have to spawn prove the area so it is best to build on osean

This farm is great :)
I built it on paper mc. Which meant figuring out what was different in the world download. Here's some pointers to other building this on paper.
2 parts of the farm are different, the player area and the spawning area. It took me a while to notice the spawning area was different XD.
Just use spectator mode in a single player world in the world download to identify the changes. You can start 2 instances of minecraft by keeping the launcher open, which is a setting in the launcher.
1. For the spawning area it's important to note that the stairs in front of the lava need to be waterlogged! (you can only see this if you remove the other water sources)
2. For the player area, note that some of the redstone will have to be moved 2 blocks up!
3. The collection system and all of the villager pods/tower are exactly the same.
4. In case someone is stupid like me, if you accidentally destroy some redstone with lava or water, don't forget the single repeaters in the redstone lines on the piston platforms need to have 2 ticks delay when you replace them :)

also about the chunk does it have to be 14 14 14 or can it be 15 15 15 because the 14 14 14 is below water and idk if it will break the machine

- 7 stacks + 32 cobblestone
- 3 stacks + 32 logs
- 4 stacks redstone
Doesn't include temp/building blocks + slab and stairs are cobblestone + includes stone/smooth stone

@@ceommad use whatever block works for a beacon, iron is usually the easiest cuz of farms. personally i didn't use a beacon but it is necessary if you are in hard mode because of starving.

if your comparator is turning on when it shouldnt, its because the rail you broke fell into the hopper and that makes the dropper activate the comparator, make sure to empty the dropper

For anyone who may be wondering, this works in 1.20.4 vanilla and should work in a realm. I recommend extending the auto sorting system to include:
- Sticks chest
- Sugar chest
- Spider eyes chest
- Glass bottle chest
4 chests isn't enough to contain the other items like totems, weapons, etc.
He said you can extend it or the chest with out the label will collect everything else

Tip:
If the raid doesnt fire even if you build everything correct, try getting bad omen starting the raid at the farm, wait for it to go half way through the progress bar. Set renderdistance to 2, get bad omen again and go to the farm. this made it work for me

Hey ik this is 7 months later but is this one for paper? Cos I’m in a server and I built this and it keeps disappearing and dosent spawn anything
It doesn't need to be near a pillager outpost. I just build mine in the ocean and have a nether portal (with slabs on top) that takes me to a pillager outpost. Then if you watch Ian's video, in the end, he shows how to make a captain bank with two walls, a boat, a trapdoor, and three glass and you don't have to visit the outpost again.

Great tutorial. For anyone having trouble getting this farm to work, it's really important to get the timing right. I can't use an auto clicker on the server I play on and I found that if you go in and just start swinging your sword like on any other mob farm, it won't work. You have to slow it way down. It's best at right around 40 swings per minute. I played a 40 BPM metronome on my phone while running the farm and I finally was able to get it working consistently. Play with the volume up and once you start getting lots of raids you can start to follow the rythem of the farm. The pillagers will make their Argh! moise twice after you swing once the farm is cranking. It goes SwingARGH-argh-SwingARGH-argh. You can also hear how long it takes without a raid by listening for all the pistons to fire to get an idea of the timing. The other things I found that helped were to wait for the raid bar to go up 50%-75% before stepping on the pressure plate and to keep on swinging at least 10 times before you assume it's not working. Sometimes it takes a long time to get going, but after a few minutes at the right speed you can have a raid bar more than half the time. Sometimes it'll die off for a minute, then pick back up. If you end up getting swarmed by vexes, go outside to fight them off. They're impossible to fight in close quarters, but not so bad outside. You can often go back in and get the raid started again if there's still mobs in the farm.

Oh my god to anyone who's struggling with the farm not working make sure you go to the villager pod on top and make sure the villager is INSIDE the composter and not standing on top of it

rare issue, but be sure to make sure that all the redstone/red stone repeaters are all there and connected! i know some of the redstone came apart due to water falling on it because i placed a block wrong in the villager pod. hope this helped someone …
came to the comments because this literally just happened to me. pretty sure some of the pistons double triggered when building the kelpevator and moved the positions of the composters which made me misplace water.

Check the villager pods and observers in the correct place and height also check redstone in the farm and make sure villagers take the right composter i had this mistakes i fixed that after 4 hours then it worked hope this helps
Yo do the villagers need to have the composter people jobs in order to work? I’m pretty sure I did everything except the jobs
I had the hardest time getting this to work until I realized the problem was that at one point I broke the armor stand and manually picked one out of the dropper and put it down. If you do this it completely destroys the system until you put the original amount on the top dropper and make sure there isn’t any others in them. If this helps one person then this comment was worth it so tell me if this helped ❤

For anyone who may be wondering, I found that my pistons were not firing when I touched the pressure plate nor when I hit the armor stand. The solution I found after several hours turns out to be an issue with my water sources. One block above the magma/soul sand was not a water source, therefore, non of the water above updated for the observer blocks. After replacing it as a water source, it worked perfectly with no issues. I hope this helps someone!
this might be my issue but for now do you have any advice on how to get rid of the raid thats already there. It spawned but my pistons arent firing and I think it might be the watter colum btu that raid and vexes keep bothering me. Any advice?
@@dragonrider7366 in order to get rid of them, you can just wait for them to despawn or just kill them. Avoid killing the captain by your own hands; fall damage, fire damage, etc. Works to kill him without spawning another raid. You can despawn them by leaving the area by 128 blocks. Hope that works.

10:28 he says everything should be in the same chunk, but there is 8 pieces of Redstone in the south west corner that are not in the same chunk, don't worry that is fine.

If you're having issues with the farm, also check the exact position of composters. I just spent 2 hours troubleshooting and found out one of the pods had the composters inverted (the upper side had the composter on the bottom, the lower side had the composter on top)

when did you realize something was wrong? for me the raid bar shows up and the bad omen badge appears when i kill the captain, and when i go get in position the raid bar fills up then disappears without spawning a raid.

9:14 Ad extra two two-tick-repeater to slow down the red stone signal, then your farm will being normal(= the piston are able to push the platform back and forth, and let the pillager drop to the killing chamber).

@@yuorchiknegr6754 since the design is not base on bug that paper core removed, I think it might work on paper server (I haven't tried it on paper server yet, so i don't have 100% confidence.)
Thank you this wasn’t my problem however it made me realize the repeaters were backwards. Also for anyone who sees this fire aspect deletes armor stands and breaks the farm

Some problems I encountered:
If your armor stands disappear, use a sword that doesn't have fire aspect, that destroys the armor stands
We switched our world to a backup copy because we wanted to add a datapack, resetting the world to easy mode. If the raids are ending, make sure your world is on hard mode.

If you use bonemeal for the kelp make sure when adding the stairs and water to your villager pods that you destroy and replace the composters so the right one has space for a stair and water

*** FIX FOR VEXES KEEP KILLING / NOT WORKING *** - Farm is still working 1.20.4
If vexes are killing you, you need to verify you have Sweeping edge as well as sharpness v. I've got the beacon giving me strength as well. You will also need to use the autoclicker.
If the farm isn't working, check if you're on a paper server. You need to download the paper version's world file in the description and make those changes, only to the magma/soulsand platform and the main killing chamber.
If the farm is loading a raid but never starting, you have built something incorrectly, or you're using the Vanilla version on a Paper server.

I just used a strength 1 beacon with regen and a sharp 5 neth sword it that fixed everything
When I built this farm I had problems with the composters inside the villager pods. After making the bubble elevator the pistons moved the composters differently than in the video. After fixing that manually everything worked fine.

As shown in the starting of the video the soul sand that he placed at 14 14 14 sub-chunk coordinates, lies on the surface level of the water whereas in my world while placing a observer at 14 14 14 sub-chunk coordinate it lies 1 block beneath the surface level of water, i.e, the surface level of water is x 15 z. [I am playing on 1.20.1]
Edit: I was just too dumb to understand early but now I found it that sand soul is not a full block and is .25% less so when standing on it your actually at x 14 z sub-chunk coordinate

If anyone is having problems with the farm, here might be the reasons:
-Your villager pods might be misplaced. Be sure to double check if you have built them exactly as shown
-Make sure the villager on the very top is IN the composter and not just on top of it
-Some of the redstone you have placed earlier during the build might have been accidentally destroyed (this was my case)
-Make sure the observers are placed EXACTLY like they are in the video
-Double check your repeaters to see if they are set at the right tick
-While using the farm, DO NOT use a sword with fire aspect on it, otherwise it will destroy the armor stand
-Walk on the pressure plate once the raid is started
-Use a sword with sharpness V, Unbreaking III, Mending, Sweeping edge III, and Looting III
-Break all the temporary blocks
-Make the farm AT LEAST 6 chunks from land
-For the item sorter, place every hopper correctly and be sure there ins't a strong redstone signal where the comparators are. If the comparaters light up, it means that there is a problem

question? so the farm works but like 1 minute in while the farm is working I keep dying to vexes. like 30 of them will spawn and come straight thru the blocks and come kill me, is it because I don't have sweeping edge on my sword?
other than that the whole farm is built correctly, checked everything at least 3 times on your list as well. I have mobs spawning but the only problem is the vexes coming thru the blocks and attacking me
Yes, it's because you need sweeping edge III on your sword which is absolutely needed for the farm to work
But idk why I still get killed by vexes even though I have a sweeping 3 sword
If you have problems with vexes it's probably because
a) you don't have sharpness V on your sword
b) you didn't set your autoclicker to 1150ms
c) you play on bedrock. I know this farm was mostly designed for java users so they might have some problems on the bedrock version. I haven't tested it on bedrock, so take what i said with a grain of salt @chp3778
As someone who spent hours fixing the build, here is a list of mistakes i made so if your farm isn't working, check if you made the same mistake I did:
8:49 and the other similar layer, slab does not work, it has to be a block, I used slabs by mistake and it will not move the piston.
2:32 make sure the repeater is in the right direction.
For all village pod, because the video uses kelp after placing villager pod, it might be moved to wrong place, I suggest you to download the world and run the world at the same time of running your own world to compare the villager pod position, it must be exact or it won't work.
that was the 3 mistake I made and how to solve them. I hope this post saves some headache, I know not everyone will have the same issue as mine, but for those who do, hope this helps.

Important
If you have a ravager going out, please replace the composter with a lava-filled cauldron.
To do this, simply replace the composter on the diagonal from the central cauldron.
If you don't replace them instantly when you do, the water will break the redstone circuit, so you need to install the cauldrons as soon as you break the composters!

This helped me SO much. If your raid farm is working but NOT sustainable and you are not getting multiple raids from the raid farm, PLEASE REMEMBER TO PLACE 2 armour stands. You must have another armour stand so that the string can be pulled, HOPE THIS HELPS!

So I build this farm months ago in vanilla Minecraft and couldn't get a second wave to spawn. Since than I am now at version 1.20.4 (Java Edition) and am using Sidium&Iris and it works perfectly. I am completely unaware if something changed or it's the mod that got it to work, but either way I am rather happy now. Especially since I need a lot of glowstone and redstone for my upcomming auto-sorter storage project.
Make sure you didn’t break any redstone that was my problem and on the spawning layer, where there is a torch, put a redstone dust that fixed it for me
If you're playing on normal and the raid keeps disappearing when you start it
Short version: get bad omen 5 by killing multiple raid captains before starting/going to your farm.
Long version:
1 problem i encountered is when i try to start the farm it just disappears after a few seconds after starting the raid.
I'm on normal difficulty and cant change it as im playing in a realm, the farm won't work just by killing 1 raid captain cause it'll give you bad omen 1, so i tried killing 5 of them to get bad omen 5 and the farm works. ( Havent tried starting the farm with bad omen 2,3, and 4 yet )

For anyone whos pistons or magma blocks are NOT FIRING, when hitting the armor stand, check to make sure you got ONE armor stand dispensed out ON TOP of the DROPPER as shown in 2:49

thank you very much for making tutorial on this farm! It was kinda hard to make because i didnt have aqua affinity so i drowned like 7 times while putting the kelp. But in the end it was definitely worth it!
You can put in just the first kelp and then bonemeal that kelp 'til the stalk reaches the top.
respiration... I dont want you enchanting your gear and then figuring out that all aqua affinity does is make it easier to mine blocks underwater... respiration helps with the air bubbles
Spam right click with torches. It'll break it instantly under water but still give you enough air gap time to replenish your breath.

works really well in 1.19.4, but make sure to replace the fire with something else like maybe soul fire because there will be so many items that some of them wont burn and just stack up in the ocean and cause lag
Im playing in 1.20 and used the soul fire yet they still fall out into the ocean

This farm is incredible. I built it slightly wrong in a couple parts which I had to investigate why it was not working. Once I figured it out it was incredible. The genius that made this farm should run the government.
This farm works well in 1.20 but after 5 minutes or so of afking the omen effect expires and doesnt come back

For me problem with this farm has low simulation distance, i just set an alt account on the third villager, after these steps, farm started working just fine. Note: if you're playing in singleplayer or you're hosting server or you have close contacts with server owner just set sim. distance on 8-12.
Whenever another player is near the farm the raid doesnt even start.
If your farm stop after a while from it working it’s probably a problem with the raid center shift
Make sure when u hit the armor stand your villagers lose there jobs and then get them back

for those who play on servers on "paper":
if your observer does not respond to the string, you can put a pressure plate instead of the string. i put a wooden one, i did not check others. that is, you do not need to build another version of the farm. personally, i did this and it worked for me. i play on the server on "paper"

Tip for anybody on 1.20.4 (Bukkit): if your farm is not working, check 2 things: 1) redstone (repeaters especially), 2) position of the villagers' pod (chunk positions, height). If everything's OK, but still the raid dissappears, go immediately to the killing place, don't waste your time by standing somewhere else. Just run inside as fast as you can and then start clicking every 1.5/2s. I had a problem, where I couldn't get the farm running, later I found out that I missed 2 repeaters (the upper floors should be moving, when you hit the stand, but mine didn't), and also, i was waiting till the raid bar completes (which is wrong as well).

for the fix all you need to do is replacing that 4 middle composters with culdron filled with lava
DISCLAIMER: if you changed your composters in the pods to make it look like how his did, change them back! I changed it because I thought I got it wrong and it made the raid spawn 1 wave then dissapear! You have to make sure literally EVERYTHING is in the correct place for this to work! Download the world and take pictures! its the best way to find out whats wrong!
Please make a tutorial for a super smelter that works in 1.20. Haven't been able to find a compact yet fast one
How much automatic would you want it to be? Because you can configure a 9x smelter with a chest boat, 18 hoppers(nine of them pointing to their respective furnace and the other 9 chaining to the output container) and 2 walls(which are used to align the chest boat on top of the 9 upper hoppers). The fuel would need to be inserted manually but for that I would recommend to use high burn time from coal/charcoal and up. The input of the smelter is the chest boat, the items then would be drained by the 9 hoppers and easy peasy lemon squeezy, you've got a super smelter that fits mostly un a 3x3 area.
Basically if [h] are hoppers, [f] are furnaces and [w] are walls. Also let's call [a] air. You would build it like this:
Base level:
9 hoppers in a square

Chain them to your output container of preference.
Layer 2, now we're smeltin'

fff
To refuel the middle one, you need to look below the upper hoppers.
Layer 3, these are the upper hoppers

All of them need to point down to their respective furnace. As i said before, look below these to refuel the middle furnace.
Layer 4, the last step

Then you need to spawn the chest boat, put it at the central hopper and align it with the walls.
That's it, that's the smelter. Now enjoy your speed!
In my case the unstackable items were not burning and they made a lot of lag so place a building block before the netherrack and spawnproof it with a button

if anyones wondering it works great in 1.20.4 if its not working check the villager at the top if hes in the composter and also you might want to add more storage as the amount they have shown here isnt nearly enough

Hi, I love your vids. I only don't understand why you didn't use the lava casting technique in this tutorial. Personally I liked the way Ianxofour built it more and I suggest whoever is building this watching that as well. He also explains how this works and other cool stuff.

For those who still want to use the armor stand in a paper server, use a calibrated skulk sensor with 9 Redstone between the sensor and redstone block. this will trigger the sensor when armor stand is hit.

Pro tip: for the kelp, you can place 1 kelp on the dirt and then bone meal it all the way till it reaches the top and then detroy the kelp from the bottom
tbh since you are building above the ocean there should be more than enough kelp underwater for you to use

For some reason, the farm does not work even on the test world (Version 1.20.1). At some point, raiders stop spawning
if the world is on paper you need to make a modified version of the farm for paper

make sure that on 0:50 your chunk location is correct and all the villager pods are in accurate location
and to use this farm dont use a sword that has fire aspects in it
and this farm is not necessary to build beside an outpost
u can make it anyware but you have to spawn prove the area so it is best to build on osean

If you think the armor stand you hitting is not working. You need to turn on the hitboxes and make sure you clicking on them

Long job and everything must be placed EXACTLY as shown, but works like a charm. Built it in 2 worlds (last one 1.20.4), works like a charm ! (too bad it will probably be useless in 1.21 with the raid farm nerf :( )
