After 4 miscarriages i was able to carry my son(my miracle full term) I can relate to your story so much. Yes i shed tears when i watched your story. So happy for you and your family. My baby shower wasn’t a surprise and it was absolutely amazing. The theme was Mango Seed Faith. After Allll I have been through mustard seed wasn’t enough faith for me. God is truly amazing. Very happy for you. May I please offer this; Some women are able to conceive and carry a child without difficulty. Others like you have a difficult journey to motherhood. However, all of the beautiful children born are miracles. No one child is more special than any other because of the path that their parents took to become parents. I know full well that there are people who don't appreciate the gift of motherhood but too many don't appreciate any of their blessings. Peace and grace to you and your family.

Fun fact! I planned my own baby shower, guest list, food, theme, colours for my baby boy and looking back I wouldn’t have done it any differently! I had a advice book where experienced mothers could leave messages of encouragement or tips when raising a baby, best idea ever 🎉. Ever is so gorgeous!

I never comment but I couldn't help it after watching this video. Adrienne, I have been following your journey for years now and it helped me get through my own infertility challenges. After 6 years of trying and failed attempts, I had my baby through IVF last year and my baby girl was born Aug 2nd. When I heard you were blessed with Ever around the same time, I cried tears of joy for you and your family. Unfortunately, my mother-in-law ruined the planning of my baby shower so it wasn't anything like what I wanted but I was grateful for the people that put it together and came. Do motherhood your way. If you want small and intimate that's how it should be for your celebration.

I totally get everything that Adrienne said. But I must say, I thank God for His Gift of natural wisdom, grace and MOTHERHOOD. None of the THINGS are that important. We live in a society that is so materialistic and pepple are attention starved. And people wonder why they are not given BLESSINGS up-front and naturally. A lot of double talk, I get it...human nature.

Motherhood looks so good on you! What a blessing! Yalls story just warms my heart! As far as what I did for a baby shower…I had a post birth baby shower after my son was born because I had a rough pregnancy. We called this baby shower a sip and see and it was jungle themed. We did have an activity in where everyone went around the room and said who they were to my baby and words of encouragement. Next time around I want do something intimate like you. Maybe including some worship. ❤
Looove the prayer tree... I think you should do what's in your heart for his bday. You have a baby now, so everything you do in life is gonna be what's best for you and your family.
