Wish we had gotten a what if scene of Anakin, Padme, Leia, Luke living happily together on Naboo, with Hayden, Natalie, Vivian, and the boy who played Luke here in Kenobi.
Vivian is so impressive?? That kid is ten years old and she is so well spoken and sassy in front of thousands of people. The perfect Leia
Her answers to the questions asked where better then the experienced actors on the stage.
I think, Carrie would have loved her in that role.

The kid who plays Leia is so well-spoken it's almost scary. The way she explains complex ideas like an adult and uses advanced vocabulary like "evolving". I suspect this is due to her career, she probably spends more time around adults than kids her age.

@@SeanNelsonPhoto it depends on the kid, really. My brother didn't enjoy being with other kids for too long, he would rather sit with the grown ups and listen to their conversations. He grew up completely fine, and is a highly intellectual and empathetic human being, I'm very proud of him.
@@SeanNelsonPhoto I used to think other kids were so boring and imature lol. I would always hang out with either older kids or adults.
I suspect it's due to her parents, who if they're good, do the lion's share of educating a child before they even set foot in a school.
@@SeanNelsonPhoto That was one of the great things that Rance Howard did with his sons Ron and Clint. Even though they were in the business they grew up as normal as possible. I remember hearing that the cast would play catch with Ron when he was on The Andy Griffith Show. Kids have to play too besides just work.
Amazing how a 10 year old totally holds her own on a massive panel. Incredible personality, no doubt she'll go as far as she wants in Hollywood. ^^
Oh and it was quite lovely to see Ewan and Hayden together again :')
Vivien is the most well spoken child actress! She speaks way better than most adults. I mean wow.

I always enjoy panels like this especially seeing Hayden and Ewan on stage together. Takes me back to 2005 when Revenge of the Sith was being released. I was in middle school and the tagline for the trailers was 'The Saga is Complete' so seeing this reunion on stage and in the Kenobi series was a real treat. I hope to see more appearances from them in the future.

@@racheysdad tbh, they were 2 different shows. But yeah, obviously. Andor was more raw, matured show. Obi Wan played like a fairytale, which is kind of appropiate, seeing how it was about how Obi Wan was saving a child - Leia for most part, but I was kind of looking for the same, more mature tone as Andor. And it doesnt mean the dialogues were childish, but writing in Obi Wan wasnt mature at all and didnt respect the viewers logical thinking, unlike Andor, hence despite lots of great moments in Kenobi, its hard to take it seriously, when we cant behind logical thinking of characters decisions which often didnt make sense.
The show was trash
Honestly don’t care if people thought the show was bad. I grew up with the prequels, so getting to see Obi-wan and Anakin continue the story for a little longer was all the fan service I needed.

Glad to see Hayden Christensen. I watched the original trilogy of star wars when I was a kid. And when the new trilogy came out I also liked it. To this day I do not get the hate Hayden and his trilogy got. Really happy he is enjoying and getting the praise he deserve for playing his star wars role.
Best line in the series to me was when Leia asked Obi-Wan if he was her father. Vivian was so dang vulnerable in that moment. She won me over at that time.

yeah, a bit. The truth is though, that in the show itself it obviously looks goofy as hell, but would also work probably in real life. If you walk confidently enough even while looking weird or obviously hiding something - if you are in uniform, in place, people wont pay that much attention to it. Other than that - there are more unbelievable things in this show, the one mentioned was goofy, but also alright in the end. They were in a hurry. Its not like it was a working disguise, but it was working as 'aight...?' for others for a minute. The ones that actually didnt make sense was Leia running away from bandits for almost 2 minutes + from Obi Wan, or Vader choosing to pursue Obi Wan instead of rebels, even though they could chase both as he either way chose to fly in his private ship, or Vader not even attempting to grab second ship when he ripped open the decoy one. + Vader not trying to pursue Obi Wan over a new fire blockade when he just extinguished the last one with a flicker of fingers a minute ago (one could argue, that Vader was still conflicted and wanted to toy with Obi Wan, but thats something we know as a fans. There was little to none exposition of that happening in the show and it shouldnt be something I read about in some explanation star wars book later this year, but something that should be literally shown in the show itself). The disguise one - i would give it a pass over the ones I mentioned that are truly baffling to me.

Oh man, hearing Indira say that she chatted with Pedro before taking the role, I almost forgot that Indira got to make out with Pedro constantly on Game of Thrones! Glad to see Oberyn Martell and his wife, Ellaria Sand are a part of Star Wars now, even though they are in different shows lol.
Would be nice. A Game of Thrones type show set in the Star Wars Universe.

very annoying that we get teased with each of the panelists favorite scenes, but we don't get to SEE them. Obviously anyone watching this panel has SEEN the show. You can't spoil anything at this point. SHOW the clips, or just cut that whole section out of the panel.

Good or bad these are characters on the show Gwendolyn Christie was phasma and the Star Wars sequels and she was always on stage talking about the films and her character was not needed or inconsequential as well but you saw her talking about Star Wars all the time

The camara work for the Obi Wan show was absolutely terrible. Some of the worst I've ever seen. Why is some of the fan work on this show so much better than the original? There is one version a fan turned into a movie. There is also a new version that is being worked on and the clips have been amazing.

Reva was more important to the story than Captain Phasma was in the sequels and I saw Gwendolyn Christie on stage all the time promoting it. But I don't see the actress that played Reva. Why???
It's beginning to occur to me more and more that Hayden played only two scenes in the series as Vader - the bacta tank scene and the scene where his helmet is cut. It seems like he keeps repeating the same thing over and over again as if either he did not play as much in it as we are made to think he did, or he can't talk about details.
You're probably right. I tnink there were a few stunt doubles in the Vader scenes. It's always like this, actors aren't allowed to do stunts themselves coz it's dangerous so there are always stunt doubles. So I'm afraid Hayden's contribution to the series is not too big (
@@drugaddicter Yeah, stunt doubles is normal, Vader in Return of the Jedi was played by 3 or 4 different actors (plus James Earl Jones doing the voice). It's not a bad thing per se, however these days with modern resources and technology they probably could've made it possible for him to play more of scenes, instead of making us believe it was all Hayden, while he did only a few scenes.
@Drumbeard I think it's just a marketing ploy to attract more attention to the series. People want Hayden-Vader so Disney just makes it look like that however
it's all different behind the scenes.

I for one enjoyed the show. It wasn't a 10/10 by any stretch of the imagination. But it gave me a solid story. My main complaint is it just felt rushed. Disney should have given Kenobi two more episodes or made the episodes an hour long

All amazing actors. Although having done a great job on her mandalorian episodes the director of Kenobi Debrah Chow did a very mediocre job on the Kenobi series. Also the writing team for the show didnt come up with a script worthy of a Star Wars show, let alone a Kenobi show. Still disappointed that sp much talent and potential was wasted
