U use drone to video the scenery?. Very nice scenery. I felt pain when u step on the ground without shoes. You bring along a pair of slippers when u go to the beach. Looking forward to watch more.

I'd be too freaked out to remain on the island all by myself although I love time alone. 😂🤣 seeing the safe distancing markings on that secluded island. Like there would ever be a problem. Aiyoh, surprised you didn't bring along lightweight flip flops. Before it was converted, Pulau Semarkau was a quiet fishing village which I was lucky to have visited. That doesn't look like the apartment complex I lived in on Bukom Island which was on a hill or slope. There was also a huge swimming pool where I learnt to swim. Then again, that was so many decades ago.
Haha that's the great thing about Singapore I think. No cutting corners or exceptions. Same rules apply to everyone and everywhere. I watch a lot of old days videos of Singapore and can kind of imagine how these islands must have looked like in the past. Always fascinating to see how much things have changed..
I bet not many Singaporeans ever thought or even visited or heard about the island! Not sure if you have visited Pulau Ubin, maybe you can consider visiting there the next time! Look as forested as this island but got more humans. Remember drink the coconut juice from the drink store (damn shiok!) and eat at the zi char restaurant for a kampong experience.

Wish to visit Raffles lighthouse. Many of the islands are now off limits. In past, you could just hire a boat and visit any island. I remember when you need to take a ferry to Sentosa!

Hey yeah I really enjoyed the experience! Felt a bit like being in Phuket going on an island tour. NZ has magnificent beaches but the water is always so cold and the sand is very course and rough... some sand looks very dark because of high iron content and they get very hot to walk on them as well.. haha
