I got sick and tired of being devalued ghosted, her disappearing on the weekends, taking hours to respond to a message, treating me with indifference.. I sent her an email that I knew the discard phase was coming and I wouldn't let her do it to me. So.....I told her I discarded her as soon as I finished the email BOOM!
He was devaling me I couldn't take the disrespect he was cheating as well dies that mean hes still stuck in that stage and pick up up with the old/ new that he treated on me with... To finish the cycle he hoovered but I completely ignored him.. explain that to me Sam Vakin says they have to finish the cycle
The hoover is lip service only. They want you back to start the abuse cycle all over again and for them to clear their mind that they were at fault in any way. You might hear the words “I’m sorry” but they’re sorry you walked away, not because they think anything they said or did was wrong or done on purpose to control you.
That is why I decided to leave first wished here luck and blocked here and all related people on the phone and internet 😉
Yes indeed, I´ve discarded a narc person twice in my life - and you know what - its a real good choice to do so. Just when I found out about the abuse against me, I´ve told the narc to never call me again and blocked her - surprise, surprise - never ever saw her again and that felt quite good - with both female friend of mine. Narcissist need to be discarded every once in a while I guess, right.
I didn't like the visual depictions, for me, rather than adding to greater clarity, they served as only uneasy distractions.
The DEI is ridiculously overdone.
