"There's that assault rifle... Aiming towards the roof. Hopefully it doesn't go off and blow a hole in the roof." Seriously? Guns don't shoot themselves. Even scary black ones.
Thank you when he says " Assault Rifle." It's like someone dragging there fingernails across a chalkboard but there in California so he doesn't know any better.
+gpaje It looks like the barrel is 16 inches to me and there is no cutout in the barrel to attach a 203 so it's not a M4 barrel. the contour looks like it might even be a HBAR.
AR stands for Armalite, not assault rifle. An AR15 isn't an assault rifle by name or definition... No, it won't "go off" because there's no magazine loaded into the rifle and it's locked into a rack. My God, man..
I enjoyed the video! But, you should work on your voice overs. It isn't very professional to hear "um' and stuttering. Not hating, just trying to help!
I've been a Sergeant on a Dept. of Defense (DoD) Security Force for 30 years and the last Security Vehicle we bought for our Security Team (Aerospace Facility) was the Ford Explorer. Well, to "save money" we bought the basic Ford Explorer and then tacked on the light bar, spotlights, radio equipment, etc. We did "save" about $10K but it has probably cost us $15K and a LOT of headaches to make it serviceable. I'm sure a lot of "hick counties" have attempted to save some money and do it yourself due to lack of funds. Well... DON'T do it! Pay the extra and it will save a lot of headaches and you will possess a far superior vehicle. Nothing can beat Personal Experience to learn this costly lesson.
Bro, you don't have to be so afraid of the rifle..... "it might accidentally go off" naa that stuff doesn't happen, not when they have been handled properly (which is pretty easy to do)
Also just another thing. The closer you make the cuts, the smoother everything seems, even the stutters would seem smoother if you cut your audio together closer.
I'm not going to criticise the you call the bolt cutter a "pair of pliers". But the holes in the rims are primarily for weight reduction, and therefore reduction of inertia for in improved accreditation and especially braking. If they would be for brake cooling, the holes would have a specific shape, to suck air in and would, therefore, be directional. Besides that, nice video.
+Highway Star I know, that's why I said "primarily". Cooling doesn't seem to be a real issue, though, half the Crown Vic Interceptors and where I live, I even have full size wheel covers. Audi even covers(!) the car-facing side of the brakes and have no overheating issue. If you really wanna get rid off her heat, you cross drill the rotors and/or lead ducts to it.
Read the last portion of your own reply sounds like you discount the design for cooling but in fact they do have large openings that greatly assist in cooling just like all super cars on any vehicle that require hard braking. Cross drilled, slotted or dimpled rotors do the job of vacating gases and debris between the pad and rotor and have very little to do with heat transfer.
+Highway Star Gases and debris??? How would you get any kind of debris in you rotors? And even if you would get any debris in your rotors, it would rather fly out vent openings than via centrifugal force than through the cross drilled holes (90° to the centrifugal force). What you just says makes no sense at all. Also, compare inertial forces of a full metal rim with the forces of rim with holes like this one, realize the difference and then look at the difference between the different rims in matters of heat absorption and you'll see. I'm not making this up. I went to college to study this!... and where do gases from (which would also obey centrifugal force)?
Not an assault rifle, those have been banned for decades and AR 15's are not used for military uses, The M4 and M16 rifles that the AR 15 is based off of are however. The only AR that was used in wartime was the AR 10 which is a designated marksman rifle. Your lack of knowledge of firearms is unsettling especially when you had an officer right next to you that would be more than willing to answer questions, but typical California.
+Ryan Grobe you misunderstand what common sense is. this is specific knowledge. you aren't born knowing the difference between an assault rifle and an ar-15 you fuckin dip
its not an assault rifle its just a modern sporting rifle, it is an inanimate object and i dosnt have a mind of its own, its completely safe. guns are not dangerous, only the person holding it can be dangerous
AR in AR15 or AR10 does NOT stand for automatic rifle it does stand for is armalite rifle. Also the term assault rifle comes from the military term for it. it needs to have full auto ( multiple rounds fired with one pull of the trigger.) . the ar15 is semi auto (one trigger pull one bullet) hence why it is NOT an assault rifle.
CarBuzz another note for your presentation the reason why this vehicle is so drastically different from the consumer Ford Explorer is because Ford has an advisory board that comes in for these vehicles. Also this vehicle ONLY comes in AWD with the option of the 3.7L V6 shown here or a 3.5L EcoBoost V6 in the interceptor version. In fact these are changed so much from the factory built Explorer that they have their own name, the P Interceptor Utility. Also, Yes Ford does sell more of these Utilities vs their Taurus mainly because of space but also because of price. These vehicles go for around 35k prior to upfit costs. It also helps that these vehicles have a very sturdy suspension so they handle almost like a car.
The long pauses in the video are awkward. Try not to say umm as much. It was a good review though. I personally didn't mind the little comments you said that everyone is getting buthurt about.
THe awkward pauses and the lack of information and the misinformation is terrible. And it's like he watches the video for the first time when commentating so he says shit like "oh yeah, I almost forgot about this." Bitch how did you almost forget it's a previous recording you could view it thousands of times if you want.
I clean these at work before they are sent to have the equipment on. The Ford dealership I work at has the contract for my city's police force. So we bring in the cop cars, clean them up and sent them out to the police depot. I've seen two of these new Explorer Interceptors. The police force in my city uses them as unmarked or marked K-9 units, while the supervisors have unmarked Taurus Interceptors in blue, red, brown or black.
the rear radio isn't a radio. it's a dual head brick mounted hidden behind that tray. both heads connect to the main brick. both heads can operate together or independently.
Hope all your reviews won't be, "Like woah bro, I was in this cool police car with BALLISTIC PROTECTION on the doors and an ASSAULT RIFLE pointed at the roof! Hope it doesn't go off!!!" Overall, fantastic perspective from an elementary school boy point of view.
What's cool is how much faster police vehicles are than their civilian counterparts. I've chives a Chevy impala that had the policed interceptor package and it feels so much faster than the regular one.
You mentioned about an event that occurred in 1997. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe you meant The North Hollywood Shootout? This the only event that came to my mind of your description. Otherwise, there isn't another event I am aware of. If there is another one aside from The North Hollywood Shootout, then I need to look further into it.
Good review, just some suggestions, maybe a little shorter gaps between sentences and add a low volume back ground music during your voice overs? Not hating , keep it coming!
One of the ways you can make the pauses seem ok between sentences is adding background music !! Not too loud either . But Dw about ur voice , be YOU !!!
keep in mind all the options you show are add on, there is multiple packages with these interceptors and what a department decides to spend on it in contract fleet.
No police force carries a m16, they carry m4 variants and only swat can get fully automatic rifles. A m16 does not have anything adjustable , no quad rail unless added later, it's fully automatic, and it has a A2 upper which means no red dots can be added because the rear sight is permanent. Look up an m16 and it looks nothing like that.
Rob The m4 is a variant of the m16a2. Also the m4 does have picatinny rails, or what you called quad rails, while the m16a2 does not. The m16a4 on the other hand does have picatinny rails. Also the m4 is not fully automatic, whereas the m4a1 is. The major differences between the m16a2 and the m4 is the shorter barrel length, gas tube, and an adjustable stock. You CAN replace the standard sights with any other optic that will fit mil spec picatinny rails. The rifle you saw in the video very well could be an ar15 though, and less likely to be an m4 or m4a1.
Chaos Zombie999 Pause at 12:04 and look closely at the magazine well. It says AR-15A3. Here's a link with the exact model by colt: www.atlanticfirearms.com/component/virtuemart/shipping-rifles/colt-6721-ar15-a3-carbine-detail.html?Itemid=0
so tell me this, its a 3.7 NA v6? then why is there an ecoboost badge on the back. To my knowledge it has the TT V6 just like the Explorer sport just uptuned
Good review for a guy who's clearly not a hardcore car guy....seriously tho not a bad review, good work. fyi all OEM wheels on vehicles from the factory are designed to assist brake cooling. Law enforcement use steel bc when hitting a curb for instance, the wheel will bend rather than bust or shatter like an alloy wheel will...the bent steel wheel will allow the tire to stay inflated under hard impact.....and that AR looked to be the same one I own, Colt L.E.6920E (law enforcement/civilian mil-spec M4) The Ford Taurus police car is ballistic plated and supposedly air tight to protect from gas, toxins, fumes, flames, etc....
Nice video, you definitely got a lot of traffic (heh) with this topic. However you need to work on your vocabulary because you stutter or use filler words too much. It makes it sound like you don't know what you're talking about which leads me to the next issue, you don't know what you're talking about... maybe do some more research and talk to the officer who gave you access to the vehicle. Take some notes. I think you can certainly improve on this and maybe make a more refined video in 2017. I would've expected a more refined review considering you voiced over video footage. That means you could do an unlimited number of takes until you finally got a section right.
iPwnR You worded the constructive criticism I had thought of writing - flawlessly. Hopefully he can see your comment and improve his content. Not bad but he can do a whole lot better.
CarBuzz - Unboxing Everyday Cars and Supercars.. you should definitely police need more officers with all the stuff that's happened to them . I'm joining the academy soon and I've talked to a lot of officers and becoming a law enforcement officer is not a walk in the park . but it's all worth it if you want to have the integrity
My local Department went with the EcoBoost 3.5. It appears there is a 3.7 ecoboost and a 3.5 ecoboost for 2016. The one I rode in was about 5 flat from 0-60. That is something when you consider all the crap they carry and that added weight. The interesting thing I found was it did not have a lot of body roll and it did not plow in the turns. The Taurus is also not the standard Taurus , you can't even really call it one it just looks like one. It is totally different from the standard car. Time will tell how these hold up. I am not against Dodge but I am already seeing a lot of Chargers at auction with less than 75k on them where the P71 Crown Vic's were held until over 100k. Then again most departments had a surplus of parts for the P71. The one I hear the most complaints about is the Tahoe , which is a boat that gets very bad MPG and simply had a hard time keeping up at high speed. They have also had a number of recalls. The Impala which I think is the 9C3 is very fast , a bit faster than the Ford but not a big favorite. It is well liked by the feds and most Military Police use those, at least here on Ft. Bragg I have seen a ton of them as well as on the Marine bases as well. There are those that say you can't buy these new. I am not sure where that comes from unless its a state law. Where I live the dealership's fleet dept will sell you the one your showing the video, They classify it as a detectives special. Honestly its a good buy because you can run the hell out of it and abuse it and its going to last a long time. Even buying a used Police car is not a bad option. My Dad has owned a few and aside from General maintenance, Brakes, Shocks and a little care with the motor they never die. You may want to do a ride along to see these in action and learn about what the carry with them day to day. Not harping on the AR thing if your not a Gun person I would not expect ya to know that.
Oh man, those old Crown Vics (panther platform) are beasts. I remember hearing about police departments stocking up on parts when Ford discontinued it because they didn't want to give up their cars. Guess they weren't entirely sold on the Interceptors just yet. I haven't heard anything negative (or positive) about the Charger and Tahoe, but literally everywhere I've been in the US I consistently see Ford Interceptors. Ford also told me that it made huge efforts to reach out to police departments to get their continued business. Seems to be working out just fine. And yes, auctioned former police cars rock!
dealerships aren't allowed to sell new police cars to civilians. only when it's used can a civilian buy one. I just bought a used 2016 interceptor utility and had multiple dealers in different states tell me that. they have a 3.5 ecoboost and a 3.7 non ecoboost. they dont make a 3.7 ecoboost. also it's the Chevy caprice and not the impala anymore. my local dept went with them but switched to ford because the caprice cabin is too small for officers with duty belts.
the only difference between the police package Explorer and regular Explorer is the transfer case or PTU as ford calls it, the rack, minor suspention like control arms, a big metal skidplate underneath it, the seat padding, the shifter and the fact it has a actual standard key instead of a keyless fob. everything else is done by outside companys
also, at 12:22 many California agencies do it but not many others in usa they will install a uniden police scanner to monitor other agencies. since systems vary it is cheaper and ideal to use them over actual radios to monitor. some agencies do have multiple radios, some tri band. but it's a catch to see agencies using scanners to monitor.
Wow the supervisor interceptor is not designed to place suspects in the back seat, that means Palo Alto supervisors can recline the seat and take a good snooze on the job!!!!!
WRONG lol, please tell me how there were AR15s back in the 70s-80s before the M4 was ever thought of? The AR15 came first, and was modified for the military to become the M16. Ever since then the Original AR15 sold to civilians have picked up the M16 features as the M16 progressed. When the military upgraded to the M4 those features past on to the civilian AR15. So the AR15 isn't the civilian version of anything, it's what the maker wants to model it after or they could just configure it any way they want I.E. M16 stock with a carry handle and shorter m4 barrel. The civilian guns aren't bound by designations like the military so it's best to just call it the AR15 because one might be set up "old school" style and another might be set up like an m4. See here "In 1959, ArmaLite sold its rights to the AR-10 and AR-15 to Colt due to financial difficulties" and here " Most ArmaLite AR-15 rifles in U.S. service have long ago been upgraded to M16 configuration"
Nice video, but honestly could've used a lot more scripting. To be honest it sounded like you were commenting on your own video as you watched it, Thank you for showing us a unique vehicle.
Scripting can get boring, but being more relaxed and just going with the flow often makes a better final product, in my opinion. And thanks for the compliment.
I work on cars like this they call it outfiitter, basically we build production cars like this and they have this "police package" they just pre wired vehicle factory add on the spotlight and flashers on the headlights. Yeah that's not an assault rifle it's just a regular ar15, Since this vehicle is in Palo Alto PD I can show you my ar15s and I'm not even a LEO... I'm local!!!
The cop cars in my town are ford explorers like this one but they have a modified 1 back seat cage setup. Speaking from experience of being in the back of one😂
You say the Ballistic Panels will protect you from armor piercing bullets... It uh.. It doesn't. And it seems as if you are watching all your footage over and doing the commentary as it goes, also why would the AR15 go off?
Cops don't use full auto / selective fire weapon systems my grandpa was a sheriff detective and swat team member and dealt with bank robberies and everything else and he never carried or was assigned an full auto police are not allowed to use those they carry semi auto like most citizens however they can both own a full auto legally but and train with one but not carry one on duty
plot twist, the cop who owns this car was holding a gun at his head, so that's y he was stuttering so much, but u cant c the cop from the car reflection lol
honestly you do not know what you are taliking about, I know all about law enforcement and have studied it for years, your information is very just almost incorrect in most cases. And also I have to point out the fact that you called the emergency lights flashlights, it was so annoying, and u wer'nt using the correct teremology at all, if you ever need to get info pls contact me through direct message and I will provide u with some, this was just awful.
Mattheau Mills Ok Einstein, you may have studied law enforcement for years, but you might want to look into literature, and second, this is a vehicle review, not how to become a police officer 101. The purpose of the video wasn't to teach us about law enforcement. Sincerely, A person that knows English
Those might just be WatchGuard Cameras. I don't know if this car would have ALPR/ANPR Cameras because supervisors cars usually don't have them. They're usually used on traffic units.
25 flash patters?? umm no. Maybe for that cars lighting set up, But you can choose a whole bunch of flash patterns for each light head when the lights are being installed on the vehicle.
I stopped watching 5:00 mins in because of so many wrong facts and unknowledged about this car in general. You got the opportunity to do this and you wasted it all because of the lack of time you should have put into fact checking and research
You just gave me aids because of how challenged you just sounded by saying "nothing assault about it" what are you, gay? AR Stands for assault rifle 15.
Most of what was showed is the standard for these units. The exception would be the 360 camera view, interior monitor, the rear command setup and the tools.
Cool video. Obviously you have the right to talk about whatever you want but I could have done without the commentary on the rifle. As a gun enthusiast to a car enthusiast I want to clarify. Saying hopefully this gun doesn't just go off and blow a hole in something is like saying hopefully the car doesn't slip out of park and roll down that hill. It's not something cars do often these days. A gun randomly going off is not something guns do often either. That being said I liked the in depth look at the car.
your camera work is good, but you gotta work on that script!
Yes
John yes and learn about what you are talking about
"There's that assault rifle... Aiming towards the roof. Hopefully it doesn't go off and blow a hole in the roof."
Seriously? Guns don't shoot themselves. Even scary black ones.
Everyone knows that....besides Gun Control Activists.
Not an assault rifle, and the military does still use the M-16
i hate that so much, its a semi auto rifle not an assault rifle XD
That's not an assault rifle, that's an AR15.
Thank you when he says " Assault Rifle." It's like someone dragging there fingernails across a chalkboard but there in California so he doesn't know any better.
Are you sure it's not an M4 with select fire? Then technically, it would be an "Assault Rifle".
+gpaje It looks like the barrel is 16 inches to me and there is no cutout in the barrel to attach a 203 so it's not a M4 barrel. the contour looks like it might even be a HBAR.
gpaje I am 100% positive it is a standard civilian legal AR15. They don't give cops select fire rifles.
I've seen M4 with burst before with an officer, but it was probably SWAT.
AR stands for Armalite, not assault rifle. An AR15 isn't an assault rifle by name or definition... No, it won't "go off" because there's no magazine loaded into the rifle and it's locked into a rack. My God, man..
Hahaha I know right I would say stick to cars but I don't think he knows about cars either
It could be loaded with one in the chamber and the safety off, it wouldn't just go off as long as the trigger is left alone.
Luis Felipe, no officer is that stupid to let a civilian into a police interceptor with a loaded firearm in the vehicle.
I said it COULD, as in the firearm still WOULD be relatively safe. I'm not saying they would do that, jesus.
WHAT!? I thought guns killed people not people kill people...
I'm glad that ar15 didn't jump-up and shoot you.
Louie Smith lol
Louie Smith the "assault rife" he obviously lives in California
jakob Dornbrach >Palo Alto PD cruiser
>CA plates
Yeah I guess it's possible he doesn't live in CA

The AR-15 isn't an assault rifle. It's a semi-auto rifle. AR stands for ArmaLite.
When you do these reviews, you really need to redub the parts where you stutter/stumble on your words. It would make the video 10x better.
Noted.
Also just another thing. The closer you make the cuts, the smoother everything seems, even the stutters would seem smoother if you cut your audio together closer.
Also, solid B roll.

It's interesting listening to someone that doesn't know that much about police.
Heh

its not an assault rifle its just a modern sporting rifle, it is an inanimate object and i dosnt have a mind of its own, its completely safe.
guns are not dangerous, only the person holding it can be dangerous
Exactly I left my AR on the side of my wall and so far it hasn't killed anyone.
A ar-15 is not a assault rifle it stands for armalite which is the company that came up with the technology for the AR-15
How to piss off the entire internet: Call a gun the wrong name.
Awesome! I pissed off the entire internet.
Uh, we never call it a "gun". Your Gun is for fun, your Weapons is for fighting.

"Assault rifle" *cringes*
Can't tell if it has select-fire, some departments I think use M4s with select fire, which would make Assault Rifle name correct.
+gpaje no they don't they cannot carry those on the job it's illegal they can own one like a citizen can but not use in active duty
+gpaje if they could we may as well just call them military
departments can carry select fire weapons..
Some police departments actually use the old full auto M-16s before they went into the shitty 3 round burst.
My mom drives a white base model explorer and it's pretty funny because it looks exactly like an under cover cop car.
Which is funny because literally every police SUV within about a 40 mile radius of our house is an explorer 😂
+Maximiliano Luera I bet theres tons of people that brake when theyre ahead or behind it 😂
But does your mom's Explorer have a gun rack?
+CarBuzz - Unboxing Everyday Cars and Supercars not hard to install one and it's legal so
She could add one for $75.

I upfit these things for a living so I couldn't resist commenting and adding to what you already said about them.
Cool walk through. But you made a lot of speculations that you should have done some more checking up with the PD.
The long pauses in the video are awkward. Try not to say umm as much. It was a good review though. I personally didn't mind the little comments you said that everyone is getting buthurt about.

My city got new mustangs and camaros that are unmarked and they are in red, yellow, and blue.
It sounds like Ford is dominating the cop car market these days.
Hasn't it pretty much always?
11:17 . you should have asked what that was "before" pushing the button, not after :)
The cameras aren't for "monitoring" 360 degrees around the car, they're for the ALPR system.
They're for both.
They are for both. That is the WatchGuard 4RE system. It has ALPR capability. Its also a dash camera first and foremost.
Awesome review. I like learning about vehicles like this.
the rear radio isn't a radio. it's a dual head brick mounted hidden behind that tray. both heads connect to the main brick. both heads can operate together or independently.
The Ar-15 isn't an "assault rifle."
AR stands for the manufacturer, Armalite.
It's still not an assault rifle. The AR-15 is semi-auto not fully automatic.
Assault rifles don't exist, Call of Dookie started it.
true
The doors are bulletproof, but the windows are not? What a flawless design.

Yes, the North Hollywood Shootout. It was horrifyingly insane.
weighs almost uhhh several hundred pounds
Good review, just some suggestions, maybe a little shorter gaps between sentences and add a low volume back ground music during your voice overs? Not hating , keep it coming!
true but no music imo
+MrWafflez000 really low volume music with no lyrics/words in the songs during the whole video would make it a lot less awkward imo

he said move vehicles that might be flipped over.................dumbass.
@@christiancastillo618 They're not used to "push over cars that have been flipped over" either.....dumbass!
I own a 2014 Model. Very Basic but if you want a well running dependable SUV then a Ford Explorer Police Utility Interceptor is the way to go.
Awesome video
One of the ways you can make the pauses seem ok between sentences is adding background music !! Not too loud either . But Dw about ur voice , be YOU !!!
keep in mind all the options you show are add on, there is multiple packages with these interceptors and what a department decides to spend on it in contract fleet.
Yes, true, and the prices can vary widely as well.
That AR (not an assault rifle unless it is fully automatic) is modeled after the m4 not the m16 which the m4 is still in service today.
Rob it's not an AR! It's an M16
Chaos Zombie999 The barrel length is too short to be an m16. Probably just an ar15. Most departments don't have a need for an m4 or m16 variant.
The police Explorers come standard with the 3.7 V6 but the 3.5 ecoboost is optional
+John “CAN-DOG” Smith on the rear it has the EcoBoost AWD badge
+ALaw2294 yea i know this particular one happens to be an ecoboost
You're correct. This is an EcoBoost engine.
cool car, all the features make it basically a mobile headquarters
he doesn't really know anything about guns
Good review for a guy who's clearly not a hardcore car guy....seriously tho not a bad review, good work. fyi all OEM wheels on vehicles from the factory are designed to assist brake cooling. Law enforcement use steel bc when hitting a curb for instance, the wheel will bend rather than bust or shatter like an alloy wheel will...the bent steel wheel will allow the tire to stay inflated under hard impact.....and that AR looked to be the same one I own, Colt L.E.6920E (law enforcement/civilian mil-spec M4)
The Ford Taurus police car is ballistic plated and supposedly air tight to protect from gas, toxins, fumes, flames, etc....
If the zombie apocalypse happens I'll be sure to take one of these first and foremost.
Good! At least you'll be one of the survivors.
Maybe I ought to enroll in the police academy.
Yea, go officer401 on us and grow your channel 500% in a week.
Is the badging on the rear for EcoBoost? If so, it would be a turbocharged engine producing 365 horsepower and 350 lb.-ft. of torque.
You correct. This is an EcoBoost model.
You said in the video that it's a 3.7L V6 naturally aspirated... was that incorrect?
It was incorrect. It's a 3.5L V6 Turbocharged producing the above power.
The badge says flex fuel 4WD it is naturally aspirated when he shows under the hood the air inlet goes from the air box straight to the throttle body
+Bill Jenkins I realized that yesterday when I saw a flex fuel badge driving around... I was wrong 😂 Video information is correct.
Just checking in when the review of the mustang GT is coming out. If you need one I'll be glad to loan you mine even though it's not completely stock
Don't worry, man. It's coming soon! And thank you for the offer but I think you'll be satisfied with what I've got lined up.
Does this look the same for regular citizens in the ford explorer? minus the guns and other police ammo.
Yeah, kind of. There's also that big computer mounted near the center console. I'm pretty sure Ford doesn't offer that to civilians.
ok, just wondering if that would be a car for me
the only difference between the police package Explorer and regular Explorer is the transfer case or PTU as ford calls it, the rack, minor suspention like control arms, a big metal skidplate underneath it, the seat padding, the shifter and the fact it has a actual standard key instead of a keyless fob. everything else is done by outside companys
Sounds about right.
also, at 12:22 many California agencies do it but not many others in usa they will install a uniden police scanner to monitor other agencies. since systems vary it is cheaper and ideal to use them over actual radios to monitor. some agencies do have multiple radios, some tri band. but it's a catch to see agencies using scanners to monitor.
Wow the supervisor interceptor is not designed to place suspects in the back seat, that means Palo Alto supervisors can recline the seat and take a good snooze on the job!!!!!
Exactly what we were thinking.
I like that Tactical pack with the Axe and Bolt cutters.
Yeah, isn't that cool!
Why do you like them tools boy?
The Bull bar is not to flip over flipped vehicles! It is to protect the bumper from damage!
True, maybe it could help flip over a flipped over car. Never say never :-)
CarBuzz - Unboxing Everyday Cars and Supercars true that lol
assault rifle...? Did you eat paint chips as a child?
The AR-15 is the civilian version of the M4 in the military not the M-16. The M-16 doesn't have a adjustable stock and its a little bit longer
See here
"In 1959, ArmaLite sold its rights to the AR-10 and AR-15 to Colt due to financial difficulties"
and here
" Most ArmaLite AR-15 rifles in U.S. service have long ago been upgraded to M16 configuration"
"Cage" is a partition and it doesn't matter what car you have, you can arrest anybody, just request a transport vehicle
You should become a volunteer police officer!
Better than Tahoe?
The cop cars in my town are ford explorers like this one but they have a modified 1 back seat cage setup. Speaking from experience of being in the back of one😂
Yeah, this particular one is a supervisor's car. They only show up once everyone has been arrested and put into the back of official patrol cars :-)
Does it have bumper to bumper coverage?
DID YOU SAY PLIERS
Yah, narrator seems rather insecure and for the most part don't know what he's talking about. This why scripts and a bit of research is necessary!
he most definitely did...the ass. ( ? has this kid really never seen.... ) #boltcutters much????
awesome amazing beast !
Do a GTR next!
Great idea! I'll get on that.
An ecoboost is not naturally aspirated. It has a turbo
Yes, I addressed this in a previous comment.
You say the Ballistic Panels will protect you from armor piercing bullets... It uh.. It doesn't. And it seems as if you are watching all your footage over and doing the commentary as it goes, also why would the AR15 go off?
The AR15 going off...ever hear of a joke/sarcasm?
+CarBuzz - Unboxing Everyday Cars and Supercars well I would've replied thank you for the feedback, ect...
no, whats a joke/sarcasm?
Cops don't use full auto / selective fire weapon systems my grandpa was a sheriff detective and swat team member and dealt with bank robberies and everything else and he never carried or was assigned an full auto police are not allowed to use those they carry semi auto like most citizens however they can both own a full auto legally but and train with one but not carry one on duty
Pretty interesting stuff in rear minus half of what was taken out before they allowed you to film it.
This kid you know had a GTA thought at least once lol "Later brah!"
plot twist, the cop who owns this car was holding a gun at his head, so that's y he was stuttering so much, but u cant c the cop from the car reflection lol
You really think the officer would put a gun to my head? Seriously?
honestly you do not know what you are taliking about, I know all about law enforcement and have studied it for years, your information is very just almost incorrect in most cases.
Sincerely,
A person that knows English
This is a terrible review video.
InternetDude thank you
lmfao....yessi dude, thank you. I know right? Shit still has me weak as fuck tho lmfaooooo
take a shot every time he says mobile headquarters lol
Those cameras on the roof actually run license plates through the databases.
Those might just be WatchGuard Cameras. I don't know if this car would have ALPR/ANPR Cameras because supervisors cars usually don't have them. They're usually used on traffic units.
Totally forgot that this model was for a supervisor. You're probably right, no need for a supervisor to have that functionality on his/her car.
If it is not select-fire, than it's not an "assault rifle".
Assault rifle!!!! hahahahaha. California liberal!
Simmer down, 007. Simmer down now.
25 flash patters?? umm no. Maybe for that cars lighting set up, But you can choose a whole bunch of flash patterns for each light head when the lights are being installed on the vehicle.
Hey, we say it how we were told.
Muy buen auto policia espero verlo pronto en las calles de Bolivia!!! Saludos.
my tax dollar at work.
just so's ya know.. a SOLID red light has to be forward facing, and on, to be a legit cop car.. it's in the california vehicle code.
Cool, Police with assault rifle - good luck civilian :D
That's what I say!
Tomasz Wieprzkowski Its not an "assault rifle", its just a rifle...
Your new to UA-cam we can tell. But gl and LIKE the vid
Thanks!
The one thing I wanted to know about didn't get covered! It's performance on the road!
Handles like a champ!! Get up is okay...wish it were a v8...believe top speed is only 125
+jonsutubechannel 0-60 close to the old crown vics?
Nah, someone told me they drag raced the two for a companion at the EVOC course and the crown vic had the upper hand sweetcheels
An AR-15 is not an assault rifle, as you stated yourself, that it's the civilian version of the M4/M16 (which are assault rifles).
I stopped watching 5:00 mins in because of so many wrong facts and unknowledged about this car in general. You got the opportunity to do this and you wasted it all because of the lack of time you should have put into fact checking and research
*_polarsk8trboy_* Could not agree anymore
Same
The Police Interceptor Utility can be used to arrest. That version can't but there is cage versions
Can't wait to become an officer to drive this one..
Best of luck to you, Chris! Wait until you see the next cop car unboxing review I have planned.
Don't shoot any minorities.
Assault rifle lol... It an ar 15 Rifle :)...nothing assault about it 🤑🤓
You just gave me aids because of how challenged you just sounded by saying "nothing assault about it" what are you, gay? AR Stands for assault rifle 15.
+Ryan Grobe Ever heard of something so ridiculous you had to luagh? There ya go.
+Just gimme my $200 True that...... "This magazine is a death loader" HAHAHA.
Did he really say he was scared that the AR-15 would go off and blow a hole in the roof........
It was a joke. Note the humor.
Kaleb Jackson you have to remember he's in California. Guns are bad there.
" Ar-15 Assault rifle, once used by the military "
He said the m16 was once used by the military
The m16 is still used by the military.
What siren is that? Sounds unique!
Good question. I asked them about that and even the police weren't so sure about the sound.
There were a lot of pauses and I'm surprised they left the rifle in the car
alot of options kinda seem super expensive would these come on a normal patrol vehicle
What is a normal patrol car these days?
lol around here they are black cars with dark grey POLICE on only one side....
It's called sarcasm.
i'm really surprised you got that close to such a dangerous weapon.... i mean it could go off at any moment you are very brave....... lool
