Outro music is great. Intro music is... very early youtube video game compilation-sounding. I'm not sure yet if I don't like it because it reminds me of the first few videos with awful audio or if it just really is bad.
Came to the comments just to see if people were arguing if it was Hane or not and I wasn't disappointed 😂 I think it's a great addition to your UCHI MATA GAME
Was just about to say… Great technique, very smart response to that overhand grip, lovely example of adapting to the situation one is presented with. But, ah, yeah, it seems to involve loading uke on the hip and bracing against uke’s leg to complete the throw, so hard to see why it’s not hane goshi.
Great technique, thanks! As for the editing: I like the pushed in names and I don't mind the intro/outro, but the background music makes it much harder to concentrate on the content. It would be great to get back to having no background music. PS: The coloring seems a little weird, but its ok.
Like nearly all things in martial arts, it depends on how you train it. Are the techniques powerful and effective, yes. However, don't confuse sport training with self-defense training. Sport is fun and can still provide benefits for self-defense, but can also create habits that can get you hurt or killed in a street altercation.
@@VTdarkangel thank you, I have to train more am bit more into learn street fight as well, it’s a dangerous world out there better to have a good streets skills as well 💯
@@AlwaysTharin dunno if it's useful, I've never been in a street fight, but what I can say for sure is that's great workout and super fun. Tough for your body, but you get used to it.
@@wikingagresor thanks, but I mean that in hane goshi you sweep the right front area of the uke leg and in uchi mata you put your right leg between his legs. That is the difference I am talking about.
@@pppam as I understand these throws, in hane goshi you lift the uke by placing your right leg against his right leg over the knee. In uchi mata you reap uke's left leg with your right leg.
@@pppam This version is still uchi mata with contact on the inner thigh, but it is getting VERY close to a hane goshi. If you had a ven diagram of the two throws this would be in the middle.
Uchimata for president!

I would love to know what your „Style“ of judo is these days. You talked about your father and his 4 basic throws. What are yours?
Am a beginner, how effective judo in street fighting?
Can be very effective but dont entirely rely on it

Wait he has theme music now?!?
Yup he does, that’s cool
Always confused about the right leg, seems to me that it is a hane goshi, normally in uchi mata the right leg isn't between the uke legs?
You have been doing something wrong, both uchi mata and hane goshi are done using the same leg...
@@wikingagresor thanks, but I mean that in hane goshi you sweep the right front area of the uke leg and in uchi mata you put your right leg between his legs. That is the difference I am talking about.

@@wikingagresorCorrect! But as Shintaro shows it , it is more of a hane goshi and less uchi mata.

Green belt's name is Nick? Sure? I thought his full name was Jon Thomas. The bjj guy.
Hane goshi
More like Hane makikomi/hane goshi setup
