That was in the late 80's. I still talk about them and use parts of that day and things I learned about their walk with Jesus when I'm witnessing. I pray they are still strong in the Faith

I saw these guys at a benefit concert for homeless in Phoenix at a pizza joint. 80s of course, it was really good I think I still have the promo poster.
I wasn't yet born when Ruscha did these songs and experienced all these persecutions. It's over forty years now, yet I still find the music so great, and the story so compelling! This shows that nothing can "box" God - whether communism or other kinds of terrorism. The grass withers, the flowers fade; heaven and earth would pass away-but the word of God stands forever.
I just talked with Lilly. Peters wife and Nickoli's sister in law. I never knew they where a part of this band much less the music bizz. ITs so bizzare cause I did the whole road gigging thing from 1989 to 1998. We just never asked each other what we did.
I saw this concert, it was in Anaheim. Peter Pankrantz, the one in the white jacket gave a speech about the Soviet Union and how they murdered little kids, and demanded they spit on Bibles, he told how this one little girl didnt and they shot her for it. That is IN AmeriKa now.

I was at this concert. These guys were the most REAL with their testimony about life in Soviet Russia

They played my high school in "89". In Kingman , AZ. I still have my autographed pic. Nice guys with interesting stories. Had lunch with them.
I got to see them in Wisconsin in a high school Gym A Long time ago. it was a great concert and the guys are really down to earth nice guys!
