😂again for those who insist that cp can not be used with pastels, here’s the proof again, and again and again. 😊 Super lovely leopard Lisa and appreciate that you have real responses for those who want to know. Yess! I can relate about painting during the day. No you aren’t a monster. Not necessarily talking about your situation but there are those who have rheumatological disorders that cause the vessels in the eyes to inflame, why not if the rest of the body does? There is help for that besides seeing the rheumy, ophthalmologists changed and have saved the worsening of my sight and are a tremendous help, coming from a disabled trauma nurse specialist. Lisa your information has been spot on and you admit when you would like a bit more time to use a product. I started combining pastel, more lightfast pencils and sticks with colored pencils and watercolor years ago and really turning my area into a lab. I still do a “purist form” in all of them. Since I have soft pastel sticks, they work well with the tools and I have enough to really use as the powder form. I hope this was legible. A huge thank you from Jen😊

I am curious about using the canson mi-tientes? I have always been told that you can't use pastels with colored pencils on a non-sanded paper. Is there anything you do to make it work better? How do you keep the pastels from coming off? And can you get enough layers on that type of paper?
