Ka is way too modest.. It's refreshing actually.. You know he's had a rough life, his attitude is a testament to his character. I've put every hip hop head I know on to him. Keep grinding my dude, the world is just a little late to the show..
He''s just himself, which like 85% of artists aren't. Can always tell when they're putting on a front for the camera or radio mic. Ka is just a normal dude who loves the culture but also just so happens to be one of the best lyricists alive. Love this guy, one of my faves
@@Righteousone18 my favourite Ka track. Preservation shouldn't go unnoticed either, he did an amazing job with the production. All round its amazing body of work.
I can appreciate these two built a friendship ORGANICALLY, based on just music appreciation and everything blossomed from there. Peace to both of these artists.
KA needs to do more press like this. Needs to get his name out there because he's a true true talent. Grief Pedigree is still in rotation and my fav project by him. More press for KA!
This album is so fresh! Ka is a human wordplay book and Preservation never misses. I swear I always forget how good this album is! Day 93 is a must for anyone curious.
MY DUDE!!! do not ever take your audience for granted. Don't tell them the concept of the numbers and the story. Let's figure it out. I don't like people spoon feeding me my music. I'm still trying to figure it out myself. Dope metaphors and internal rhymes!!! Ka is a genius!!
Yeah im trying figure the esoteric & Science behind them STILL. It gives the album (if it needed any) that much more replay value. So many rhymes hidden between rhymes.
Much Luv to Dj Preservation, it would have been nice to have seperate interviews, Dj P didn't get enough time in this interview, he's had a long intersting career.
I thought his sh!t sounded better in Nightbreed, but hey, that's just me. His content has *much* more depth now, but most of the time, I would rather just hear someone attack the mic and shred that sh!t up.
KA's penmanship is aging like fine wine, he one of those cats that would be able to do this even in his later years and still have true listeners tuning in and supporting, wisdom comes with age as we all know and KA's wise elder words of wisdom style would be able to produce longevity for him to stand the test of time .
WBAI radio in NYC is where I first heard this legend and Natural Elements! The Underground Railroad show late 80s early 90s. Would love to hear Mr. Voodoo and Ka collab now!
Nice insight into the creative process behind Yen Lo. These two be masters of their craft. Props to Eclipse for holding us down with the realness 24/7. Amos, UK
Fax...im not saying dudes is dumb...but they like they music dumb down...Ka is a rappers favorite rapper ...da shit he write is for (da analytical not da typical) bars.!!. Ka.. Roc Marci ..Wtk.. Dza and i missed some...but they keeping hiphop alive...but listening Ka put me up on them so youll always see a post from me wen ever those dudes got something going cause theyre the only brothers saying anything...peace 😎🆗®💯➕Ⓜ
I'm definitely in the minority here, but I preferred his style on those old Nightbreed/Natural Element tracks. It had more energy and hunger, that shit is nice.
🫂Reign In Paradise King👑One💓#DearBrotherKA!❤️🔥#SoHumble👏🏽

@@ECZephon A grief pedigree, if you will.

He really didn't give much out and gave no info on what the numbers mean so I'm not sure we watched the same interview.
Definitely GENIUS
I'm glad I found this. I really enjoyed this album and I hope they can do another collaboration.

Its 2020 and I'm going back to this interview.amazing body guys!
so beautiful to see these two invested in the new era of hip-hop …they are dope and I had no idea they’ve been around this long.
Turning into my favorite artist, never heard a bad Ka verse (post Knightbreed/N.E)..accidentally heard "every" 2 years ago got hooked..that pain real

Whole project is solid front to back. Ka is the man.
He's been my top 3 since 2013. And he just keeps getting better!

Ka is always gonna be in underground rap convos
His vocals resonate with me. It reminds me of those murky , foggy , nights in Brownsville. Had to keep ya cabbage on a swivel

THE GREATEST!!!!
We appreciate Ka
Ka the sound of the time
Bring KA back, he got an album coming 8/13
Would be good to see ka push his name further by doing interviews, live performances and become the underground legend he could be
"Cats that are serious with their craft" shouts to Ka & Dj Preservation!!!!

KA is that dude
Art
ka is tha future!
KA is the future mark my words🧐💫🪐🌙🌎
Aw man, that hit me 😢
Ka is God
A very under rated MC. Ahead of his time💯
this is underrated as well mistercr.bandcamp.com/album/c-rag-west-coast-icon
Dr. Yen Lo does not have a SoundCloud?
Why did he drop the Brownsville in his name?
Jacob Chavez That's just his screen name for social media.
dude this is the God MC
