But speaking about the mayor, yes, it’s pretty obvious she is just trying to save face as she knows this is going to be made official on her watch. She’s no different from any other politician in this respect. As for Oakland and some surrounding Bay Area localities it is sad to see the continued decline. If Oak. stops talking about A's and Fisher, makes a deal for more years for A's/mends the fence with MLB, it could position them for being one of those cities for expansion when it comes up.
