Very ice explanation! Quick and to the point! Also, this is the first time someone pronounces the name of this plant correctly - most call it “eh-keh-very-ah” which not the correct pronunciation. Good job! 😻
Thank you for watching and the kind words. I didn't realise people pronounced it differently! I do find that a lot though with other houseplant names, although I'm not always sure who is pronouncing it right (including me!). I'll remember this for Echeveria 💚
Thanks Tessie, the top rosettes have taken almost like estblished plants. The leaves are a bit of a numbers game and take so long! Some have developed roots. I will admit though, I am not the best at remembering to spray/water them, so a few dried out despite being succulents!
Do you only keep them out of direct sun (or grow lights) while they are callusing over or the entire time you are waiting for them to root? I am using grow lights indoors. Also, did you wait for yours to callus over or did you just go ahead and put them in dirt?
Thanks for watching! With succulents, I usually let them callus over. For other more standard houseplants, I tend to just propagate them straight away. For sunlight, I generally keep all props out of direct sunlight or anything too bright - more so, so they don't dry out or crisp, as they won't take water up effectively until they have roots. Once they have roots and are potted up, I'll treat them like established plants and put them where they need to go 😊🌱
I didn't realize the stems could be propagated, good to know! 🙂
Thanks for watching! It's great isn't it? Every bit of them can be propagated, you can make loads of new little echeveria and no waste 🌱
Excellent! So helpful. Thank you 😊
Thank you - really helpful and well-explained tutorial

Thank you for sharing
No worries, thanks for watching!
Would love to see how these have worked out. I have one leggy echeveria, so curious what kind of percentage you get. 😊
