    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    A sermon by the Superintendent Minister on 13 October, 2019, at the Pulela'ā metropolitan church. Following the divine service, the Superintendent, accompanied by the chiefly representative Hautā'ulu and other congregants from the various circuits in NSW, departed for Ingleburn, where he presided over the consecration of the newest church to join the Australian District: the Tākaua-mo-e-'Eiki congregation.
    The Scriptural theme for the homily was taken from the Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Luke 17:13-19. This passage talks about the healing of the ten lepers by Jesus, nine of which swiftly departed when they saw that they had been cleansed, while a single man, a Samaritan, remained behind to praise God and to give thanks to the Lord.
