I've used both products and both are excellent. I do a lot of gardening. Working with soil really dries my hands out; especially in cold weather. I'm also an avid cook, so I'm constantly washing my hands and cleaning pots and pans. I also develop calluses on my first finger from knife use. These things are shear murder on my hands. The Burt's Bee Salve worked well. It is very greasy though and it does leave an odour. About a year ago, I discovered O'Keeffe's Working Hands. I no longer use Burt's product. The Working Hands, doesn't leave your hands feeling greasy and there is no odour. A pea sized amount goes a very long way. It's great after washing your hands and after showering. The skin on my hand immediately feels supple. When rubbed into your fingernail cuticles, hangnails become thing of the past. It works much better than Burt's for this. As I've already said, both products are excellent. However I recommend O'Keeffe's product over Burt's.
for the burt’s bees hand salve i’m pretty sure you are only supposed to use a very small amount of product because it’s a salve and not a cream. Could be why your hands are so greasy because there is too much of the product on them.
It's /SAV/ . Not "sow-lve". And they are two different things, so, you wouldn't use the same amount. Salve is more for protection, you use it like Vaseline.
I did some investigation and discovered that he's a pretty skinny guy. So he probably doesn't lift and if he does, he's definitely natty. I added links to your video to give proper credit for starting all this manly hand care talk!
What you forgot to tell is the healing power of each one :) Which ones reduces the redness of the fingers tips more? Moisturizing is good to reduce pain, but which one builds skin more. I guess where to start is the physiology and biology of the skin, and then selecting the creams that has all the required herbs in a combination for example.
Yeah I definitely thought okieffs was just lotion so I wasn't wanting to buy it but after this video I will because I'm not gonna buy Burt's bees (I only use vegan skincare)
O'Keefe's 'working hands' cream is overrated. It leaves a gritty film on your hands, it's also too heavy and takes ages to absorb into hands. I swear by Neutragena 'fast absorbing' hand cream. You can't beat Neutragena....it's great and does the job perfectly.
@@AnthonyTran interesting. Good info. I am a new quilter and my finger tips are getting REALLY dry. Like snag on microcloth dry. Looking for a solution.

I absolutely love Burt’s bees hand salve it smells so good and makes my hands so soft
I really hate greasy hand cream so I would have to go with the O'keeffe's with the more wax like feel. Thanks for showing this comparison.
Almost died when he said avoid eye contact when putting on these lotions or "moisturizers" in the locker room.

what are the ingredients tho?
Working Hands,My favorite !!
For me growing a beard helped to preventmy hands from drying out. All the moisturizing, oils, balms and butters I put in it keeps my hands in check
Anything that is Burt`s Bees is great. It does the job . As far as being greasy just keep rubbing you hands together ang work it into your skin .
O" keefe's is Guaranteed,or money back !! Love it,great product!! Yes,at hardware store,GO,OKeefes!!!
I'm obsessed with the burts bees smell

I don't know, Anthony. If he had sick traps and 3D delts, I think they would be on the label. Does he even lift?

LOL!!! Thanks, brother!
Try rubbing the balm in while hands are wet (small amount as little goes a long way) and the balm soaks in and non greasy. Badger Balm is best.
Great tip!
I know why your pinky nail is like that. You play classical guitar correct?
Close. Flamenco guitar :)

Working Hands ,only takes a little to use, free of fragrance,Too !!

+Zorok999 I would say the Burt's Bees is better for healing, slightly. Either one of them will not take away your callouses.
Good to know. Other people on youtube mention that "working Hand's" is like magic.
Working hands is the best I found so far for my cracked fingers an hands' #1

I like how in the end you choose the one that’s less moisturizing....

The burts bees kind of feels like all natural vaseline
No love for Bag Balm? Out performs these.
Will have to try it!
I agree bag balm is the only thing that's worked for me
You are such a dude. Lotion in a can. LOL
Not quite because lotion will make your callouses go away. These two things do not.

@@melanie_luv2_sew I really like stuff from Lush. Moisturizing but not too greasy. Their store is pretty cool in general. Worth a visit.
@@AnthonyTran more info about this Lush plz.

Problem is, working hands changed their recipe! Now it’s just lotion!

Anthony - Salve is pronounced - sav = silent L :)
Wayne Flaaten that is thoroughly incorrect.
Nah, it's actually pronounced sol-vay.
