RCC In the lot March 14th Thanks to my friend Leonard for handling my second camera, I have more of the same. • Leonard's retirement f... Check it out!
first off... i can watch these guys warm up for hours... But second, it's kind of sad, but now a days there really aren't that many groups where you can look down the line, and everyones hands looks the same... This group for sure is not one of those cases, it's like their freaking clones lol. Love love love this group!
they've gotten a lot cleaner since the last video i saw of them.... and lol when his stick breaks @ around 7:17 "yeah pro-mark"... hahaha I'm still very bitter at the fact that BD, and now RCC have chosen to leave the very successful stick company, vic-firth.
Regua is the caption for RCC Fall and Indoor. His goal for the warm up routine since 2017-2020 fall and indoor is to be stuff that apply to our show music. So it’s no longer going to be these old classic OG warm ups. It’s going to be different things every year because the show music will obviously be different. So he tries to come up with warm ups that will apply to our show book. Watch some videos starting RCC 2017 Indoor and Fall :D
hells yeh. ive watched this so much ive learned almost the whole thing. and thanks for whoever made the music. im now the battery captain and percussion co captain. i became a beast off this vid. but it reallly was my practice and hard work. and im still gettin better.....
Doesn't give a shit about drums? haha you're kidding right? You're the one who asked me to be specific. If you don't like being told off, then don't set yourself up.
are you sure he looks out of place. because he's center for bd this year. i'm pretty sure he's better then all of you. with a big world championship ring to prove it
i'm not saying the guy isn't good. He just looks like he's out of place. He's too stiff in the upper body and his left arm is too far out. He just doesn't like he belongs.
Actually no. You should get out of the habit of making ignorant assumptions to justify your meanness, and hunger for pointless fights over the internet.
@TheDragonmaster18 Not this group. Though himself being the caption head for the battery at Blue Devils, and some members of RCC being in Blue Devils, you could say it's indirect. Some people say RCC is the "Blue Devils of WGI" but I personally treat them as their own group despite a majority of staff being associated with the Blue Devils.
You're right. That was pretty irrational. Just make sure next time you point that out that you aren't the pot calling the kettle black, Mr. "go play in traffic" or "go sit on a train track".
great video period but goddamn cool a 6:10 basses lol bass 4 was like oh shit and caught it aalmost in time to be awesome ... still the whole video was awesome
Well one way you can tell is by looking at the tenor's sticks. See the black lines on them visible right under where the tape stops? Those definately aren't vega's. They're pro-mark. Also, at around 7:00, a tenor solo begins. Watch from there till about 7:20. One of the tenor players looses a bead, and a snare picks it up. In the backround you can hear a guy yelling "yeah pro-mark"! (thus showing the sarcasm in pro-mark actually being a good company who makes good quality sticks)
NO. Bottom line though? Vic Firth kicks ass on quality and durability. I grant you that the RCC tenor line never broke any vegas tenor sticks. Their sticks may be a bit more expensive, but it's definately worth the little bit more you pay. Besides, is that really a priority when you're one of the top competitors of DCI or WGI? It's beyond me why either ensemble made the descision to switch to pro-mark.
It means that if you actually watched the video, you'd already know that RCC switched to pro-mark, and you wouldn't be asking such a stupid question. It was sarcasm.

Love love love this group!
I love this comment 👍
the tenor heights are sex
they've gotten a lot cleaner since the last video i saw of them....

metronome lol.
All of RCC’s warmups just sound like someone said “fuck you” in drum language and I love it
i love how the car horn is continuous, but it doesn't affect their tempo
Why isnt RCC playing any sprees like MTheory, Shake hands, etc., anymore nowadays?? :(
Carlitos Salazar I would like that answer. They would maybe have some of the coolest warm ups in lots

That car horn xD
I absolutely love this tenor line. The heights are so damn defined in this video. I've always been a fan of clean stick heights :)
That car was jammin out with em!! :D
ah yes, my favorite thing to listen to while doing homework, Rcc
That's a nice shuffle, dawg:)
Watching in 2024!
@zackman512
No they're not, but some BD drummers do this as their WGI drumline, out of DCI season.
haha
Love that the horn was spot on with timing
8:12 Stare at camera
This is BEYOND anything that is being played today. 13 years later!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Absolutely 100%
Beyond? Nah dude, nostalgia got you tripping
@@rifle2563 yes bro. Everyone loves to show off these days but rudimentary and precision wise, nothing today comes close.

Goodness gracious this grooves! What's the first exercise?
Historical video
Does anyone have the sheet music for there warm ups If u do can u send it to me? RCC ROCKS
hells yeh. ive watched this so much ive learned almost the whole thing. and thanks for whoever made the music. im now the battery captain and percussion co captain. i became a beast off this vid. but it reallly was my practice and hard work. and im still gettin better.....
Yeah man. I love it when i see people grooving to warm ups.
Doesn't give a shit about drums? haha you're kidding right? You're the one who asked me to be specific. If you don't like being told off, then don't set yourself up.

That warm up at :58 is one of the sickest things I've ever heard... Anyone know the name of it?
grooving with the car alarm.
The car horn is throwin' me off omg XD
haha i like how it kinda sounds like the mixed shake hands rythms well to me like at 3:58 and a little before
Why'd you focus on the worst looking snare? That Triple H guy looks like he doesn't belong there.
those drums are sweeeeet
That dude that is just all smiles is so hardcore. lol
0:50-2:30...favorite exercise ever
Its Called Dawg Shuffle. Message me if you want to trade or something
yea ive notice it but its not that much of a bad idea to do
i could tell the dude with the black shirt with green writing on it was most of the dirt!!
We have the same Dynasty's but in blue with the same design. They are sick.
where was the warm up before the ram session?
snares hands look a little too loose for my taste...
hahaha in the end do they really say cock ball haha
any tenor sheets for most of these?
M. Theory. i have it if you are willing to trade
they follow BD thats why they which to pearl
probably the system blues from promark
Thats what they get for using promark
is that Taka from BD '09?
Do they still play the goo?
system blue... they get a percentage of every stick sold. easy decision.
hahaha....the car horn

Naw, he had an April or May birthday which gave him the WGI bonus, not DCI. It's either or.

lame descision.
5-3-7 flams.
injured ankle
yes
if rcc is doing something so is bd.
bd switched to evans heads too. os chances are, rcc will have evan heads next year
I really want to get into this sort of stuff but all these sort of groups seem to be in the USA. I live in the UK..

no lol
wrong.
Man coming back and watching these back when I was marching indoor for high school. What a time in life that was!!!
Damn RCC is legit
show
@Snebasseor oh ok. i thought he did cause they are using his technique and also when BD switched pearl and PRO MARK so did RCC
I have the tenor music. But not for that second variation. What is it that the tenors do differently?
It means that if you actually watched the video, you'd already know that RCC switched to pro-mark, and you wouldn't be asking such a stupid question. It was sarcasm.
wow..lol u hear the car beeping.. thats what we try to do .lol but the warm up is so clean i wish we cold be like that ^_^
Yeah, so as long as everything you said previously doesn't involve "FAMILY" then it's automatically rational.
Not true, when they did the split shots going down, the notes in between the shots. Were dirty. That was the only dirt i caught.
ok, im only in a small high school band. I have NO CLUE as to what those deeper sideways bass drums are.. can anybody answer?
Is the guy to Matt Reguas left the center snare from pacific crest last year?
💃🏾💃🏾💃🏾💃🏾
@313cassanovaboi yeah I just recently figured it out. I got sheet music! :D
thanks though
Correct me if I'm wrong, but bass 2 has been on the line since '05 during Manifest destiny, right?
Don’t worry guys it’s just their warm up
the video that we're both commenting over right now. Yes RCC is with pro-mark now.
what is the one at 3:24?
also, does anyone have dawg shuffle for bass?
I bet we could use your advice since you're 107 years old. haha
That is RCC. Actually watch the video, and answer your own question.
@drummerkidmashy .the first exercise is called dawg shuffle.
this year they should have won :/
i thought they were really good
Pete Sapadin: Groovin! lol @ 2:54
does anybody know the name of the warm up that starts at 0:58
@Snebasseor I thought that was called "Moller Strokes"
What's the flam exercise after number2 called?
number 2 cool thanks pretty down warm up tp get
LOL@ the carhorn being in time with the line...nice
Is that Scott Nelson on the tenor closest to the camera?
Dirt. Oh wait, it was recorded from the side...
Lol at Shake Hands with Beef. Their visuals. :P
The car alarm made the difference for me.

Man, tapping off with his left hand.
@DissonanceBeauty Holy crap. That is!
