You can't use all your 5 heals in a 20' battle unless you start healing 30" into the match and keep in using them as soon as cooldown is over. 5x 1'30" + 4x 3' = 19'30" out of 20' battle
The reason he wiped the floor with them is not because the ship is OP or even good it's because the average WoWs player sucks more than a supermassive black hole.
Love how you have a different oppinion on this ship. For some reason most people hate it and i guess because they expected a Petro 2.0 and play it this way. Its fresh and unique and i dont regret buying it as well. Fun and different.

I think the biggest problem is the sheer anti-synergy between limited DCP and that heal. Super-long heal cooldown and not having enough charges to just DCP a fire if you're unspotted is oof. For randoms you're probably better off going with Siegfried. (Also a tad funny how Sevastopol has better performance with the same guns just by virtue of being Russian and a tier higher..)
I think you’re completely wrong. The synergy is perfect - you should literally never dcp a single fire because the slow super heal heals an absurd amount. Essentially you don’t need dcp for single fires anymore and can instead save it for torps or multiple fires precisely because you have this crazy long heal. Throw in the special commander and this ship can sustain like essentially no other ship in the game.
I need to ask sorry, but what key do I need to hold to get the detailed breakdown of ship characteristics in large? I only know of holding h, but that is much smaller than what Flamu has, and I can’t find anything about it in the settings.

Dd main. I still carry. Cv games are different play style. I would usually bring in ranked marceau daring or vampire 2 and Sherman. Those are my favorite boats i don't struggle with carrier matches. Bringing things like kleb Shima... You have a glaring weakness. You must remember your job is to spot early game do not suicide into the cap. There is circumstances like being inside the vampire and having no radar lets you cap bully. To be a dd main you have to play them a lot, play very dynamically don't get caught up in farming. No doubt it is the hardest class of ship to master and im coming from someone who was played since the start has every techline t 10. If you want to get thru ranked master dd and carry.
Sincerely, there is so many hydro ship now and radar and CV and subs, yes it's getting harder and harder for Dd's to play concealed. I don't think DD is harder than anything else, I've been playing since 3 years and I find that ship classes are equally hard to master... Subs , CV and crazy spamming cruiser make it hard for BB, crazy accurate overmatching BB make it hard on cruiser, every classes got a bump in difficulty to master since last year.
In ranked? Probably Moskva, this thing can shoot decent He salvo and high penetration AP, has crazy accurate gun with quick reload, good armor nose in and a radar, Moskva is a monster and very good if you don't have Stalingrad. Stalingrad guns are better than Moskva so it's the best cruiser of the entire game gunwise.
With the speedboost, seems like she shares the Georgia gameplay running down ships or going for flanking crossfire. But those guns, seems to be very nice dispersion wise. Mini Slava much
It's neither of all those, it's a unique ship with unique traits, it doesn't feel like any of those ship in-game and not that much on paper if you look closely to the specs or layered armor and shape, guns specs etc.
For comparing, the guns feel like fenyang AP characteristics to akizuki guns its just a small tweak with AP specs with same guns... Even if the shells are 380mm with good velocity it has kinda more air drag with a small pen angle buff, the guns feel satisfying but sometimes it feels lackluster, not enough shells and poor dispersion at time all that considering the reload time, it doesn't punish that much but is ok consistent overtime I guess, it's definitely an overtime ship gimmick. Like probably the best 380mm gun in the game but too few of them to have a battleship characteristics hull, it would in my opinion benifits alot from a buff to dispersion or sigma or reload because right now you are just a fragile hull with battleship weakness so not very maneuverable, ok guns, nothing scary to me. imagine if incomparable tier X had 4 X 406mm Vickers with great accuracy buff over 508mm, this is how I feel about Sevastapol. There is alot of worthy gimmicks but something's wrong, there is no great strength to combine it's mandatory weakness and feels just tier 9.5, Siegfried performance wise like.
Take the prop mod on 3, and steering gears mod on 5. 1 km of extra concealment changes little. You want to be trading (and taking damage) because of how long heals run, the maneuverability will help you mitigate incoming damage bcz you can't get farmed faster than heal heals and it heals slowly.
The concealment of this thing is literally one of its strongest aspects, you should spec into it as much as you can. Remember, this thing has high calibre guns with fantastic pen, it’s almost at Stalin level but has absolutely insane concealment and a speedboost to get close.
@@meneldal Prop mod gives you acceleration. You buff both acceleration and rudder shift with Prop mod and SGM2. Last stand ain't nothing to got to do with it unless you're referring to the bug.
last time i played wows was months ago. i was playing ranked in my des moines. took a cap, sat behind an island, nose in to support my DD. a cruiser is spotted full broadside in open water, basically sailing in a big circle towards us. some new russian cruiser i've never seen before. i thought: "i can nose tank this thing and shit on him with DM DPM" he shoots at me and pens my nose for 15k first volley. may i introduce: russian BS Sevastopol with 380mm guns. right when i thought after petro and the russian CVs they can't come up with much more broken russian bullshit.
I stopped last season in bronze and this time in silver for exact the same reason. Didn't wanted to put up with the CV-shit. With the old system I got to R1 multiple times. But all the interest is gone... Without CV I can at least carry some games but with them I can't do shit. :-/ Sad that WG is so focused on keeping the CVs like they are and favor letting the game die (and grab as much money as they can before this), insted of changing something or admitting an error.
Not a bad ship but then again...why not just play stalin. More firepower and radar. I wouldn't say stalin is tankier because the heal on the sevastopol is better.
Then again Sevastopol isn't trying to be another Stalingrad. I feel like it's more of a flanker similar to the alt baguette line. In my opinion at least.
Because russian industry sucked, and they couldn't produce the 305mm guns, Kronshtadt was supposed to get in time. So they instead as part of the Molotov-Ribbentrop pact negotiation bought some of the 380 mm gun turrets used also on Bismarck and Tirpitz. Which Germany naturally didn't deliver however.

If you are in torps range on Siegen its means your team won and you yolo for fun or you lost and you die in next 15 s. You dont want be in torps range on Siegie due to her armor. You don't have Hindi turtleback. Your TB can withstand most of 203 mm. Thats all. Simply is too steep. 27 mm covers 50% of Siegie so 406 cit you from every direction and 380 are shitinig on your TB
I thought this was a battleship until I saw it had the cruiser label on the bottom left. I never thought I'd find something as strong or interesting as the Petro.
As a former EVE player, I learned to deal with changes and find effective counterplay when a Tech3 roam came into system or my fleet got cyno'd...etc. Wich is why I don't get it when top players in this game cry about ship classes they "don't want to play against".
Talk about confusion. I saw "Sevastopol" and thought WoWS had a new premium low-tier Russian BB. Then I see a top-tier battlecruiser. Oh. Another never-was.
@@TheAnxiousAardvark no, reality has no real value in this game that's largely filled with what ifs and has been for a long time and it kinda has to be. my problem is with people putting this ship in the same "fantasy" realm as some of the other ships, that WG based only on early design ideas. if this design got to the point of approving it for the start of construction, i think i would not consider it fantasy. so there's only the gameplay aspects for wargaming to fill in. it did look to me like you were one of those from the initial comment. but i don't really understand the desire for the older Sevastopol. gangut as a tech tree ship already represents the class, oktrabskaya revolutsiya the ship itself in the later refit. if anything they'd just copy paste gangut, slap a gimmick on and sell it to whoever wants to bring kuznetsov to tier 4.

I was less pleased with bizarre smoke and radar mechanics. I disliked the CV game play. Then things got worse. Absurd gimmicks. Subs. CV rework. New "premiums" that are the same with a nerf and a buff to "balans." Ships designed in the 1930's placed into the same tier as fantasy never-weres designed in the late 50's and 60's. I found I was playing more and more lower tier games to avoid the nonsense ships. Now I watch replays. I enjoyed the game, but they lost me as a paying customer. Battleships as ASW platforms?!? Cheers.

remember the prop mode doesnt help with deceleration

They have started to get real lazy with the default camos for premium and research bureau ships etc.
