No. It’s coordinated and most times temp is called before the fight starts. I.E play fast/once they walk out of room collapse on backline. Just because you’re gold doesn’t mean everyone else is
reasons 1. they don't want to ban anything so they throw it out by choosing an irrelevant hero 2. it blocks the other team from banning an actual support hero like teams could toss out their ban by choosing junkrat, but by choosing a support it makes sure the enemy can't shake up the support line by banning lucio or something. Other supports that see low playtime could have a real purpose to swap even just for a spawn camp situation. lamp, ana's rifle, even life gripping from the spawn room. Mercy's only use for that would be to rez someone that died in front of the spawn doors lol
