Hey, Sigma here! I actually started using all the advice from this stream for the last week or so of the season. It ended up getting me all the way from Bronze 5 up to Silver 3 by the time season ended. When Season 4 updated everyone's rank, it placed me right at Plat 4! Some very rapid improvement that I'm happy to report ^^ Edit: I was happy to let the stream get the bingo BUT! For the most part I wasn't using my rock randomly or just bc it was off cooldown, most of my usage was meant to cancel javelin spin or try to go for an elim. Was it the best rock usage? No, absolutely not, and I'll 100% agree with anyone saying it wasn't used properly. But it certainly wasn't without purpose!
If you went from Silver to Plat MMR in such a short time, that simply means that you should never have been in Bronze in the first place. There's a huge difference between those ranks. Anyway congrat for that progress man
"Your teammates will push the cart for you" yeah right, half the time I play tank and go forward to take up space, my backline completely forget they should be pushing cart instead of being by my side xD
You need “tanks swap teams” on bingo card. When the tanks run past each other to go attack backline. 18:35 is an example. See even better examples regularly in these bingo games.
honestly, you made my day, I was so down and stressed because of my uni feeling so down and sad. but you appeared with a new video that made me genuinely smile and feel happy thank you :)
I think Mirror Matchup should be if both characters in a role are the same (ie: both teams have a Kiriko & Moira or a Torb and a Reaper). Having 1 character being the same is too common as you will have 1 player on each team probably play whats meta for their role
As a Gold 4 tank, this was super educational to me. I usually main Rein who is all about map control, but I was recently getting into Sigma, and I had no idea how to place his shields. Thanks for the tips, Emongg!
Use the shield to tank damage/cut off snipers, protect yourself while fluxing and use grasp to disengage or if there is a high damage shredder like bastion use grasp to shut him down and give yourself a boost. Also shield can be used to cut off heals from a support like ana
Anybody else getting consciousness flats going "stop going after the horse. stop going after the horse. stop going after the horse. stop going after the horse. stop going after the horse. stop going after the horse"
Yes! I chant this to myself when I catch myself starting to gravitate towards shooting her. "Stop shooting the horse!" Apparently, I sat it out loud. Made my group crack up when they heard me.
Someone told this sigma to touch the cart during OT one time and he still hasnt gotten off til this day 😂😂😂😂 One other thing is this player has the most classic negative habit for a sigma. The bad habit is using the suck when ur low. Its not meant to be a healing device. Its best used to counter certain abilities you face. If a soldier ults, use ur suck to save ur team. If bastion go sentry, use ur suck to save ur team. If kiriko ults and orissa is going wild, use ur suck to tank for the team. Dont just use ur suck when ur low. Its a VERY bad habit. 39:45 i would reword it to "ability mashing" similar to button mashing. I would also say this sigma will easily be gold when he starts pushing up and learning map control. Probably platinum. Good aim and good ults. Great video
Maybe we should just put "Emongg's game/pc crashes" on a bingo card lol. Jokes aside props to you for still playing this game so much despite all the tech issues you have, I quit playing Splatoon if I dc from one match lmao
Last night in a game everybody started popping ults. Rather than holding back like usual, I thought “this looks like fun I’m going to join in”… I have no regrets.
This guy ain't Bronze worthy. This person can climb. Positioning is off, but he's got the right idea on when to make certain plays and when to stay back.
I like this bingo card a lot more, as it's not as easy as just having one character but in bronze is still very possible. However, I'd like to point out that having one character be mirrored is to easy, so I propose having at least two or three characters mirrored. Anyway, nice video!
poor Orisa. she took alot of rocks to her face this fight. also "scared" tanks are usually the reasons people lose matches. When tanks sit back and the dps form the frontline.
There is no way in hell this dude is bronze, or at least he shouldn't be, he plays Sigma better than I do and I'm a mid gold tank who semi-mains Sigma.
Love the new bingo cards! Although I do think that "mirror matchup" should be 2 or 3 mirrored heroes, since 1 is almost always true, and 5 is almost impossible.
I think sigma randonly went afk on cart on second point, you were spectating him at the time too. A few seconds of not moving at all and then he snaps back into action
Abilities used random, if you go on that route, ABility used without purpose or so, basically it could just say Bronze usage of abilities, thats a huge reason many bronze is in bronze, like as Sigma ya dont want to sucki sucki anything else than sentry mode if against Bustion, so then that would be checked if sigma does that against bastion for something else, it would be proper if we were spectating plat+
ok Ill add to the comment here. I dont think, for the most part, rock was used to just rock, he did use rock to counter orisa spin quite a bit. that being said he did rock golden orisa and ulting orisa, resulting in nothing but some damage it did feel like it was used on cooldown and probably couldve been used to counter other ults. AAAANNND I see Im late commenting and that THE SIGMA himself said exactly what i said. for whatever reason this didnt feel like bronze or silver tank gameplay this felt like high gold, low-mid plat. ALSO happy to see that the SIG HIMSELF has moved up in rank rather fast good job my guy.
"Ability Used Randomly" to me is more of a misclick kind of thing. "Ability Used On Cooldown" seems more like what the Sigma was doing with rock. It's not random and they are still getting some value out of it by using it as often as they can, but it's also not strategic and they're not making the most out of each use.

Hell yeah! We love to see it
Good job dude

Congrats dude! Proud of you!
Yea it's obvious you aren't a bronze Sig from the video. Good job!
I don't usually comment on videos, but I just had to give props to the editor for that clean Bingo card
I’m just replying cause this has 0 replies… sooo yeah come here often? Nice nice
Well deserved
"Your teammates will push the cart for you" yeah right, half the time I play tank and go forward to take up space, my backline completely forget they should be pushing cart instead of being by my side xD
and let's remember that 2 of those teammates have ... questionable decisions on positioning
I was looking for this comment. He says “Your team will push the cart for you” then shows almost THE ENTIRE TEAM way ahead of the cart.
Also if Im tank and its overtime, I aint moving from that cart lul
Some people were arguing that the Sigma ult killing 2+ was considered a big slam. And that would also have been a bingo.
I like that
I’ve been saying for awhile there should be a bingo special episode where he watches as many bronze games as possible to get a full clear bingo board
the big slam means riens ult
Anyone who has watched Emongg for any length of time knows "big slam" is shatter.
@@apollo4961 well I mean it took only one game to get all but one on a diff video

He's bronze but not bad? Impossible, perhaps the archives are incomplete.
Especially as a tank - the easiest role to carry. Game with

It's an older meme, sir, but it checks out
@Wait what? It's very true. Literally everyone knows this except you. Support has more throw potential but a support is rarely going to carry a game

That sigma rock hit more than the Genji Nerfs
First questionmark was amazing we need more of that. 100% normal and just the way it is for a normal game but very, very rare for low rating.
Honestly, I think the rock countered orisa's javalin spin way too many times to consider it just a random ability usage. Those rocks were amazing
!
Wow, love the bingo cards! SCP and D&D? Hitting all my favourite things
Is that what it is?? Very artsy...
okay but... the DnD inspired bingo card is FUCKING FIRE
23:45 Emongg is so nice, I wouldve been yelling at the sig to push up like flats but hes just like "listen. just try to push up a little"
I think the ability slot should be called "ability not used in intended/optimal way"
As a Gold 4 tank, this was super educational to me. I usually main Rein who is all about map control, but I was recently getting into Sigma, and I had no idea how to place his shields. Thanks for the tips, Emongg!

POTG bingo while spectating bronze. Hmmm. Sounds about right!
The zoidberg sound when Ana ran through the fight at 17:24 made me laugh
Props to the editor for taking me exactly where that QR code should.
The editor knew the assignment.
Anybody else getting consciousness flats going "stop going after the horse. stop going after the horse. stop going after the horse. stop going after the horse. stop going after the horse. stop going after the horse"
Yes! I chant this to myself when I catch myself starting to gravitate towards shooting her.

That blue screen edit was awesome. Bingo card also lookin crispy. Kudos to the editor!

the zoom ins get me 🤣🤣🤣🤣 the frontline support and it's Anna 🤣😂🤣😂🤣

its a backline tank, but in bronze if he aint pushing the payload, nobody's pushing.
That box at the end should be called ability spam.
I’m a huge DnD fan, and that bingo card actually looks sick
honestly bronze as a rank isnt as bad as most think, there's some really good players here and there
Yes. A lot of those players just doesn't like o engage on Comp. Also, i love your profile pic 😂
He pretty consistently was rocking the javelin spin, at least at the start.
Last night in a game everybody started popping ults. Rather than holding back like usual, I thought “this looks like fun I’m going to join in”… I have no regrets.
omg this is absolutely the right play 10/10
POTG bingo is actually a awesome video idea, I'd love to see you do one
How buffed would bronze team have to be to beat full plat or full top500 team?
Might be interesting series to make. Plus nice to see bronze get some power instead of being abused all the time
I love whoever edit this video I love how you added the re4 sound
18:04 "can we get a blade going?" "what about nano blade tho?"
Emongg, thank you for these vids. I feel like, even though you have a lot of laughs in these vids, i still learn from your advice / comments.
What i love the most about these videos are the pure confusing on your face of what the hell is going most of the time emongg :D
In our plebeian ranks, solo queuing, if we leave the cart to get map control the cart will just sit there forever without moving.
Oh god! I can hear Flats saying "Stop shooting the Horse!" 😂
This guy ain't Bronze worthy. This person can climb. Positioning is off, but he's got the right idea on when to make certain plays and when to stay back.
Holy shit that moira orb thing at the beginning was hilarious
I’d say that the rock was used correctly in that he either used it to combo supports or to interrupt the orisa
I've never wanted to see someone win more than this
I felt him trying to get that kiriko, as someone who plays sigma the pain is unreal when they are 1 hp and out of range
I like this bingo card a lot more, as it's not as easy as just having one character but in bronze is still very possible. However, I'd like to point out that having one character be mirrored is to easy, so I propose having at least two or three characters mirrored.
Anyway, nice video!
"What in the Moira?" is gonna be my catchphrase
I LOVE this D&D style bingo card. GG editor!
Babe wake up, emongg uploaded
poor Orisa. she took alot of rocks to her face this fight.
also "scared" tanks are usually the reasons people lose matches. When tanks sit back and the dps form the frontline.
honestly I looked away for a little and literally thought emongg was the one playing sigma until he paused the replay-
That one chatter really wanted flux to be a big slam
You could tell from the random extra Moira Orb and the Cart bug that this was gonna be a cursed game
16:19 that blade was almost as late as this comment
I’ve never been this early, I love your spectating videos so much
The beginning had me in tears 😂😂😂 emongg is so precious ❤
it is a bingo because at the end sigma throws a rock for no reason at literally nothing
At one point the Sig rocked a wall after a widow grappled away
There is no way in hell this dude is bronze, or at least he shouldn't be, he plays Sigma better than I do and I'm a mid gold tank who semi-mains Sigma.
I mean Sig used rock on a Fortified Orisa for what seemingly looks like just to do damage.
Thank you Cuber for the DnD character sheet bingo card, that made me smile :)
These are my favorite type of videos
100% a BINGO
Maybe change “Ability used at random” to something like “Ability used inefficiently” for future BINGO’s.
Maybe instead of "Used Ability at Random" something like "Low-Impact Ability Usage" would make more sense
Reaper just... ya know eh ... Reaping
Love the new bingo cards!
Although I do think that "mirror matchup" should be 2 or 3 mirrored heroes, since 1 is almost always true, and 5 is almost impossible.
Editor made a whole other bingo card just to meme on Emongg. What a legend
I think it counts, if he waited a half second for at least two of those rocks he would’ve gotten a lot more value
I think sigma randonly went afk on cart on second point, you were spectating him at the time too. A few seconds of not moving at all and then he snaps back into action
I enjoy the D&D themed card
Bro looks like diamond console
I think someone in chat asked if Sigma Ult can count as a Big Slam, I think it should.
Abilities used random, if you go on that route, ABility used without purpose or so, basically it could just say Bronze usage of abilities, thats a huge reason many bronze is in bronze, like as Sigma ya dont want to sucki sucki anything else than sentry mode if against Bustion, so then that would be checked if sigma does that against bastion for something else, it would be proper if we were spectating plat+
wouldn't sigmas slam at 10:48 count as a ult cancel since orisa stunned him out the ult and kiriko already suzu'ed
You should put the really long team fight one in the middle of every card to act as a free space
My casual lobbies be looking very different from this….I should start doing ranked..
I was here for the stream twitch is superior
This was pretty enjoyable to watch! I also really prefer how to still provide educational content but throw in some occasional jabs (jokes)
Plot twist he’s smuring
I had a backline tank today. he was so scared and hid behind the dps. wasnt funny I tell you that. Our brig went - ok looks like im the tank now.
I like watching these even though i don't play comp.
ok Ill add to the comment here. I dont think, for the most part, rock was used to just rock, he did use rock to counter orisa spin quite a bit. that being said he did rock golden orisa and ulting orisa, resulting in nothing but some damage it did feel like it was used on cooldown and probably couldve been used to counter other ults. Love the character sheet style card!
As a genji main, to all healers, im sorry for my idiotic bretheren.
honestly, this sigma isnt a bronze player imo.
Really curious, is this NA, EU, or Asia?
"Ability Used Randomly" to me is more of a misclick kind of thing.
"Ability Used On Cooldown" seems more like what the Sigma was doing with rock.
It's not random and they are still getting some value out of it by using it as often as they can, but it's also not strategic and they're not making the most out of each use.
7:10 i wanna get off point too but i know my team doesn’t want to be payload princess so i have to escort it or its not gonna make progress
Hey Emongg, I saw in the chat, don't know if you did but Big Slam could also totally count as Sigma's ult, he lifts them up then Slam's 'em down? idk
i hate how orisa has two abilities that just push everyone away with little room for counter play
having ANY hero mirror count is kinda silly. Might as well just check it off at the beginning of the match without looking.
I think Emongg is slowly starting to understand why most support hate Genji in low elo XD We cant heal him when hes in our team
I think these games have come to the point where frontline tanks are rare
I believe it is a Bingo if there was no rhyme or reason to why he was rocking then that says random ability usage to me.
Waiting patiently for the release of the 3mongg channel 🗿
Emon thinks the team will help push cart
They will indeed not lmao
How about POTG worthy play for a new bingo tile? Like if anyone gets a play that's considered a POTG?
Are you using resident evil sound effects? like at 10:16
The editor has been playing RE4?
Yes. Yes they have
I don't get how people can just assume someone is bad because of their rank.
I thought this was a POTG bingo so i avoided this vod, until i checked just now.
I love the card design
