Lucky, I just found your channel. Did not know that you had one and can't wait to watch them all. Definitely going to pass it on to my friends. Thanks Lucky, awesome, awesome, awesome. Jeff
Nice lucky you did more work to the car in one day than the other shop did in 3 months. This was a original 350 car, the previous owner put a autozone 350 in it like 200 hp lol. Can't wait to go for a cruise. The car was at a shop in auburn, CA (ls swap specialist ha ha I think not 😤) on Thursday and Luckies on Friday.
man i was just gonna say that....its also in white men cant jump....and a tales from the crypt episode where brad pitt drives it and drag races his girl friends murderer cop father....sweet car and i heard it was a real L78 396/375 M22 car and original yellow paint.....sick ride.....thats all info on the car in the movies mentioned...this one is sick too....if its the same one i would be sad to see it changed from the rare original shit
My guess why the motors jacked up on the fire wall is who ever swap the 4l80e in used the th350 / 700r4 cross member support location for their existing mount they made. The proper way was to have it forward a few inches with the proper engine mount thats forward.
Lucky the owner might want to think about a heat only a.c. delete cover instead of just the standard ac delete plate. being in Alaska he might want the heater to work
isn't there a little dippy doo at the body line just forward of the left rear tire. It looks like a small wave in the bulge just forward and about 6 inches up from the lip of the wheel well.
It seems like there are only 20 shops in this entire country that do stuff right. I know that's not true, but far too often, I see "top tier shops" review the work of other shops and it's rarely positive. You have to really do your homework when selecting anyone to work on your car(s) OR spend a pretty penny at the shops that are known for A1 work.
focused313 It really makes you never want to send your stuff out for work at all, yet it's often hard to make time to do it all yourself, and it's easy to get in over your head while working a "9-to-5". Frustrating stuff.
As a bit of a perfectionist myself ,It makes me mad when a shit shop /teck takes money and can sleep at night knowing they did a job wrong. More shows from you would be cool, however you do need to work on the film quality a bit more. I see your distaste on hrg for people pissing around to "get the shot" but it's part of the game . Play it up a bit more.
Always suspected you were good but the catch on the class C lock nuts was almost super human . As there were they were no different than having regular nuts. being short just those 2-3 treads negated the locking function completely. Odd how the other side was OK. I enjoy your vids vary much. Probably because I'm living vicariously thru you as present circumstances prevent me from doing those things that keep me sane. Will just come out and say it super jealous of your skill set. Damn need to get well and get back to wrenching..!!! KEEPEM COME BUD!!!...
Hey Lucky..this is Gary Farnworth body shop manager of Manhattan Ford back in the day. Great to see you still doing it

Glad to see you fixing this Chevelle.
Good idea to run the stocker harness in the fender .
looks like it's got some good bones for a decent car.
My thoughts as well. Great driver even with not so thorough paint and body work.
NICE CAR
Was there any cutting on the floor or firewall to fit the motor in?

Good stuffy Lucky.
How much more does it cost to get someone youtube famous to work on your vehicle? I got an 87 GMC that I want to do a LS or a Cummins swap in.
Yup, this is how my project spends the weeks. Engine in, trans in, buncha' parts in the trunk :-D
Lucky your the man, make this chevy great again.
