Plants are my favorite part of the hobby as well. Fish only would be a no-go for me. Even back in the day when I kept African cichlids I kept them with Anubias and Cryptocorynes. Your plants are absolutely beautiful, Stefan! Greetings from Germany 💯🌱
Definitely helpful video i have a similar style of aquarium keeping. I have a marineland 5 foot 120 gallon. 26 inches high and i have 3 hygger lights on it no co2. I know what plants will grow and only use them. Im going to rescape in the upcoming year and upgrade lighting and use co2. My research says go for chihiros lighting. Thanks for the info.
Stephan I just love your tanks that are just super beautiful. Great explanation of your process. I think it would be nice to have links to some of the lighting and your C02 systems. I have compilated getting a C02 system but I have no experience with C02.
@@razinfishes1918 hey razin- thank you so much for the props. I’m sorry I haven’t been very good with links. It’s a time thing. For co2 start with the UNS mini. It’s my fave.
Hi Steffan. Your tanks are beautiful. The proof is in tge pudding. I am skeptical of dosing iron in the water column. I am of the belief that it is easy to overdose and therefore promote BBA growth. Iron in root tabs seem to have a more favorable result for me.
Hi stephan, I see you use seachem prime you should have a look at seachem safe seeing tho you have loads of aquariums I switched to it august 2023 and never looked back still have over half a tub 10 pounds it cost, you need the measuring spoons tho small metal ones to measure once that's worked out its a doddle
What makes Twinstar a great light for plants? Is it just the brightness..or is it the amount of WRBG LEDs? I've never seen a high priced light Twinstar/Chihiros.etc., in person. Do you ever get algae in your CO2 tanks? Also, what would you guess would cause algae in a CO2 injected tank...if it's something you might know.
So the secret is out!! Sooo you mean to tell me that you don’t have an extra lush and salty chromosome?! 😁, Great Video!!love the way you narrate your videos, like a book, beginning, middle, climax and conclusion. Awesome as Always ✌🏾

I've been lucky regarding BBA but that could turn if I'm not careful. Thank you for the heads up.
Hello, lovely as always
Thank you for the props, Bwizzle!

Hey friend- thanks for the tip. SAFE just might be in my cards this year!

Only need those if you want higher light demanding plants like cuba and utri for example.
Thanks! If you're dosing iron but have low magnesium, it might not be effective since Mg is needed to absorb Fe.
So if you're observing Iron deficiency, it might be Mg that is lacking.
Tanks are very nice as always!
Appreciate you as always, MCA :)
