Definitely make this a series! Very interesting and well made. There are many cops which actually serve the community well but are weighed out by the bad information from the press.
🌸🙏🌷The police, Met police, nurses, doctors, carers, teachers all need to be mentally, physically and spiritually fit and healthy ON & OFF their jobs to serve others and perform their duties. We all face challenges at home and these can have great impact on them on & off job.
This needs to become a full series
I agree, the Met sadly is just full of bad press at the minute, in the background there are Cops doing some great work for there communities and this sadly does not get recognised......

6+ yrs as a custody officer at Westminster and I can say that it was without a shadow of a doubt an appalling place to work, terrible senior management and an appallingly low standard of officer, if you speak a foreign language you will serve in Westminster no matter how bad you are.

I am British and live in Trinidad and Tobago.
I am not pleased with the handling of my being threatened daily because of an insurance compensation claim. I had a slip and fall in the Cayman Islands while I was looking for employment. I did call the police in London a few years ago and they told me Trinidad police have to handle the matter because I live here. I am pleading as a humanitarian cause. I am harassed daily. I see several specialists and did communicate with a doctor in England at a hospital there. Kindly assis t me please. Thank you.n

All of these police organisations need to sort themselves out too many internal issues lack of strong leadership u need a solid team how can big big business run so successfully but police forces can't keep their staff on their toes ?
Greetings as a conscious woman, i know there a good and bad in many societyz, likewise the met have been good to me also my circle. The law should be sterner and firmer, maybe many EU will respect the land.👑

What we might have heard on 2/5/24:
Today we were assigned to ensure a group of migrants got on a coach to be moved to a new destination as per the law of the land. Unfortunately some teenagers told us we mustn’t do this and they were in charge now not the government. Faced with this terrifying reality we agreed with the teenagers and abandoned our duty to uphold the law with no migrants getting on the coaches. How brave we are! Oh and how clever we are too. We made sure to arrest a batch of protesters so it looked like we were making an effort - however weak. But don’t worry the majority will all be released later without charge once we have got the press to use the “45 arrests” headline - can’t have Sir Mark being upset by awkward questions at his next liberal left dinner party can we.

If I remember rightly there was some school of thought that actions of this nature gradually became more of a problem, and could lead to more violent actions.
