Yay! Loved it. My story is similar to Erin's, my mom said "you act like you're in love with her, as if she were your boyfriend!" and I said, "well I am in love with her, we are together!" then we were both an emotional wreck for a while. My mom was against it at first, but she eventually she became accepting of the situation.
You both are too cute! Can't wait to watch your ttc journey... and I love Erin's hair and make up!! You should definitely do some tutorials for us! Good luck with everything!! Sending lots of love and baby dust all the way from Ohio!!! ❤🇺🇸
Aw, you guys😇❤ I'm very glad in the fact I have 2 mums and they're married so coming out for me was never an issue my mum used to always say to me when I was young 'have you got a boyfriend yet' and when I'd say no she'd ask 'well, do you have a girlfriend' and when I finally did get a girlfriend I cried, and my mum wondered why I was crying (at this point I was gonna tell her I was gay) then my momma came in the room and said 'are you pregnant' so I was like 'noooo' and they both looked at me like they already knew I was gay and they were just joking and they said 'you're gay, we know. Are you happy' and I said 'very', and then that was it. Very accepting, but I suppose I'm lucky as because they are gay themselves they were always open to the possibility of 1 out of they're 3 children being gay and would you believe it, its was me😂 sorry for the long comment but just wanted to share my story.✨ loving the videos, you should do the 'how well do you know each other challenge'? Xxx
Kirstie West thank you for sharing your story with us! It was lovely to read. We'd love to know how it was for you growing up as a child of two mums? That's a perspective we're very curious about since we're starting our own family. Thank you for commenting and following us, we're so happy to have you here with us! 😊
The Desiraes honestly it's the best thing in the world. To me, as I don't know any different it's just the norm. When someone asks me if my parents are together I say yes, they question it sometimes when I say have two mums but to me, most of it is just curiosity. I had some negative comments when I was back in primary school, but as this was like nearly 10 years ago, gay couples raising children weren't known of as much as they are today, so I think it was just people not being as understanding as they are today, and as I'm older I actually love telling people I have to mums. I'm so very proud of them!!❤ And towards the end of college everyone was very very accepting. I suppose it's just down to certain people, you win some you lose some. For the majority part though people love the fact I have two mums. You're child/ren will be forever thankful for bringing them into the world because it isn't an easy process and it's not like it can happen over night. And I know from first experience that no two people could ever love me more than my mums do. Xx
Kirstie West that's so lovely to hear! I'm glad you haven't had too much negativity surrounding your mums. And we are so happy to hear that you are proud to have two mums, I bet they are wonderful parents! Thank you for sharing this with us :)
