I'm from Makati and I've driven and walked through that area for years and I still appreciated your video. I would eat at the Filling Station but could never feel relaxed to go to the Cubana or the bar with the boxing even if I was really curious. It's kinda embarrassing but it took you, a foreigner, to give me a tour of places in my City I haven't been to - places that are literally 20 mins. down the street. The video and commentary is raw and unapologetic yet you balance it with respect and a traveller's appreciation for the place. It gave me a fresh perspective on Burgos St. Thank you!

I'm Canadian I been to Philippines 3 times My First time I stayed in Malate before going to see Intramuros And Pasig before going to Boracay Second time I stayed in Tondo Visited Manila PD HQ with the SWAT team and fired 9mm and 45 on the firing range And had Bulalo in Tagaytay
I say this because I don't understand why most Americans and some Canadians Think spending alot of money and flying 18 hrs across the world for sex ..They are not looking to learn a new Language or learn the Pinoy Culture or eat the foods as you can see in this Video Americans stick to there own foods and Most will not bother to say Ola Kumasta po / kuya salmat But if you go to the USA and talk Tagalog in to a American more than likely they will tell you to speak English ! And be mad with you. Or Try taking a Go pro and filming people eating outside They will want to start a fight with you ...So i don't understand why these people think They should do the same thing in Asia
You will not see many if at all American women in Makati or Angeles Filming Massage parlors or how much to a prostitute You will find 30's to 70's balding over weight lower to middle class men looking for females from 5 years old to 25 years old 2 months before this video was made a 45 year old man was arrested at the airport after talking with a 17 year old via internet while in USA and later tried to meet with for sex along with a few other girls
Beware of foreigners that stay in these areas They have the same foods in America and aboard They have the same clubs in there own country. even clubs where the women get 100% naked. And they have no reason to go and enjoy the Philippines Cebu, Palawan Mindoro Baguio

Bruh I TRULY APPRECIATE your so called "Long videos". I just discovered your channel today and i'm so glad i did. You remind me of ME because of your outlook on world traveling and prices for the value, vs being in the States. I loved the part about food on your plate that ya can't see, and cracked up when you were mentioning about the so called " High class" menus for high dollar with absolutely no value for the money paid. lol, Yes! It's Microscopic food fit for the belly of a mouse. hahahahaha! I laughed my ass off, and I AGREE 100% it's bullshit. I'd rather get my moneys worth with a full belly for an inexpensive price and food that tastes delicious at that. I also love that you are not one of those vloggers that talk about traveling deals and places to travel, within just a 2 minute video, that is NOT THOROUGH enough at all. You produce exactly the style of videos i love to watch while also sipping on a couple of drinks and get informed with details of where i would like to go. To me, i say, the longer the better. I've been to P Burgos street and stayed at the Oxford Suites and frequented the Bottoms bars the most and had a great time. But you are right they are a little more expensive but worth the peace of mind of knowing what you're getting and a safe interaction with a girl of your choice for company. I also visited a lot of the bars on Burgos while i was there and it was the time of my life and can't wait to go back. Thanks for the videos and very detailed info . Great job and KEEP THE VIDEOS LONG! We enjoy them. Lovin' it! You seem like a very down to earth realistic guy, that i can hang out with and have a beer with or in your case, one of those Towering Margaritas',, lol SUBBED! Peace out bro!

Your perspective of Burgos street is pretty spot on. That woman you saw in the Orange ( I think her street/bar name was Tobi) on Burgos was apparently the TOP bar girl of Burgos street.She had lots of money , she had a great house and she was known for helping other financially and in any way she could.. Apparently she got involved with a bad group of friends who took advantage of her kind nature and led her down a path of serious destruction which involved booze and hard drugs. If you really stop and have a good close look at her, you can see a beauty that has been destroyed over the years. Look at her body and legs and think about what that looked like when it was pure and untouched....So sad... I feel sorry for her. Anyway, look forward to watching some of your other videos... Cheers mate. And yeah, I had a FEW beers watching this video. Watching it on a 70 inch Sony Bravia Tv was pretty good. Great clarity with your videos mate. have a good one mate.

I have been living in Manila in the 1980s and at that time the places to go where mostly in Ermita MH Del Pilar Street and Mabini Street. I definitely miss Manila and I’m looking forward to get there once this damn Corona crap is over.

Cancel and use airbnb. Look for Gramercy or Knightsbridge and you will be much more happy. Trust me I been here 15 years now

When I went to Makati I stayed at the Royal Bellagio Hotel. I loved it there. You are spot on that it's the place to stay. Everything is located close. I loved the Bottoms Go Go Bar. One of the best nights I had was there. The midget fighting... man, they boys didn't want to work when I went in there and they wanted to fight me! LOLOL. But over all that is a great location right there.. I ate at one of them Turkish places which was excellent. Loved the video and brought back some memories. Just wish this damn pandemic would end so I can go back.

14:05 Citadel Inn. That's where I always check in when I am in the area. I pay $500 for 1 month deal and about $50 additional for electricity. Water is inclusive. 10:15 If you go crossed Kalayaan Ave and go straight and turn left to Gen Luna Street, there is a Spa Osaka. That's my fave place there getting my massage. 33:41 Exactly!

I stayed almost three years between Makati Orientalist and the Peninsula, then started staying on P-Burgos street…hopefully I’ll get another contract there soon. I still have an office in Mandaluyong. 👍 Great video! Ignore the haters! DOL !
What timing on your statement about kicking back drinking a couple of beers and watching your video because that is exactly what I was doing! I want to visit there Southeast Asia some day soon and appreciate some of your tips and insights. I’m a single guy so I’ll be traveling solo. I’m 65 and still working but shooting for next year to get there after all my prep work is done. I’ll keep watching in the meantime. Thanks.

I went to Philippines for the first time in 2017 did not know 1 person there. After 2 days I had met so many locals that welcome me immediately. What a great place. Not to mention the most beautiful women in the world are there waiting with open arms. I will move there the day after I retire

Yep, Burgos Street! That's basic RULE #1...any taxi sitting in front of any tourist site or hotel....never never never take. :) These days with the GrabTaxi....it's super easy to avoid any and all taxis.
