I love my AONIJIE. An awesome backpack and affordable. Also works with the RyanAir restrictions so you can do a weekend fly camping trip without needing to pay extra for bigger bag. If I could improve it I would add the option of a bigger detachable hip belt + pockets and a bigger roll top (or how about a roll bottom for balance, eh?) to make it up to 40L. Would love that versatility.

I wish they made a 40L or 50L of that pack. UD has an old pack that is 45L in burgandy

I use the Volpi 30 and really like it. Has anyone here tried the Gossamer Gear Kumo Fastpack?

I’m using the less-expensive robic version of the Swift X this year - the Swift V. I have about 300km with it now, and I love it. I recommend removing the delrin stay hoop internal frame, which is a bendy soft plastic material, not metal. If the Swift X is the same as the V, that internal hoop frame makes an unbearable amount of squeaking noise with a full load (23lb-30lbs). Like, the worst squeaking on any pack I’ve ever owned. To the point where if I couldn’t remove it I was going to ditch it. Good thing is the pack seemed to ride better on my back without that frame inside, and it’s completely silent now.

Looks like traditional straps with pockets on them, which is available from a few other brands too.

these packs are the OG's for backpacking as far as I can tell. if we didn't have these then we wouldn't have most companies releasing their own vest styles rn

Good review. I own the six moon designs with a vest and LOVE it!. It is far more comfortable than anything I’ve used in the past. I appreciate the review of other vest packs. I’ve been wanting to pick up a smaller (30L or so) so your review could not have been better timed. Thanks.

I've been trying to talk Dan Durston into a vest style version of the Wapta 30. How cool would that be?

Ive been tempted by the Six Moons bag many times, I wonder if you are using the large or small harness/hipbelt options from them?

Large and I can confirm the small is quite a bit smaller as a friend ordered the same bag with a small harness

Please remember that half the world has breasts, and vest harness’ are basically useless (and often actually painful) if you are a b cup or more. I am all for everyone using the gear that works best for them, but “trends” (which vest harness’ definitely are) which cannot be used by half the target audience hurt the hobby. Be thrilled about your gear! But please don’t drive a trend that excludes your, mom, your sister, your daughter, your friends, with click bait titles and themes which are simply not true for half the world.

My friend has large breasts d or double d and got this pack specifically because of that. There is also an S harness shoulder strap if one wants more space that still has some pockets on it
