Coming from a car guy I must say these videos are awsome. Something different everytime and consistant. Im usally eating my lunch while watching. Nothing like ham and cheese and some Scottie videos.

I love it. I love the paint, the blacked out front end and black wheels. I can't even tell what he did with the hood by looking at it, but it's nice and smooth ! The matt clear looks absolutely perfect, I was thinking it was matt paint, but that is cool , I didn't know of matt clearcoat .. even that floor is amazing. I'm loving the black theme , steering wheel looks good in black .. You know that's how I'd have it!! I love that he actually drives it

Man I really like this one Scottie ... It looks like a plain and simple design but that flatting down the hood isn't a easy task ... I have a buddy that does a lot of old Chevy designs like this ... Great video brotha ... Thanks for sharing as usual ...
My God Scottie, you keep on delivering... what a beautiful van. The flat paint with the black wheels and trim is out of this world. And the interior is subtle but it has that cosy homely feel. Cheers man, look forward to many more great finds from you.

Beautiful Panel my brother had a 47 his had the 3 chrome strips went across the fenders he never done anything with it we tried to get it going but he gave up on it.

This a bad ass truck but I think it would be even more bad if the door handles where kept then dipped In copper with the grille, headlight rings and wheels against that sexy color.

That cab portion isn't a 47. The one piece windshield wasn't available on the Advance Design body till 1954. Regardless, I'm building one myself, a 53, and only dream of a stance like that!
Zombie Jake Heaton Right on....Will had done so much work...he forgot to mention that the client wanted that one piece window....so grafted a 54 window onto that 47 cab...this thing looks simple...but there is a bunch of work done to it...glad you enjoyed it Brother!!

Saw this on FB, and it's a really beautiful job. One question though: Is it really a '47? The reason I ask it that from '47 through '53, Chevy trucks had a split windshield. The curved windshield, which is on this truck, was only introduced in '54. This truck, however, doesn't have a '54 grille.

ScottieDTV So you put a '54 windshield in the '47? That's what I really call artistry. Anyone else would have just fused the divided windshield.

I love the truck, but to say it was "built to drive" is a bit of a stretch. It has no wipers and no rear view mirrors, inside or out . How do you even get it tagged ?
