The member that reposted the documents to minecraft will be facing as much time as the cult leader. It will be more than 15 years and this dude was running a cult, it wasn't just a group of gamers. He gave presentations of these documents and forced members to read them.
The kids he brainwashed have talked to the media like idiots (with parental permission) and said they would not help law enforcement find the guy as well as other things that strongly suggests they see him as a cult leader and there could be sexual components because that level of brainwashing usually involves "love".
The members may end up with 15 years, but the main leader who stole the documents should get about 3 times more to life. The member that reposted the documents to minecraft will be facing as much time as the cult leader. The fake russian lady that is just a us citizen who was discharged from the navy right before she shared the info will also see decades in jail. She is going to fall under the military UCMJ.
The theme with these type of crazies is "a hill to die on" and sharing classified documents will be that hill. They will all enjoy prison now.

Depends. If he sent it Glenn Greenwald or Chris Hedges etc he would at least have had time to flee to some place like Yekaterinburg. 😂 But being an anti-einstein...there was no greater purpose.
It makes me believe they likely figured him out long ago...when he printed the stuff..so they decided to use him as a dupe... Even printing this stuff requires a special printer, from a special access terminal and specific permission to do so on a NTK basis.
@@MuantanamoMobile yeah.. I was thinking the same myself... but I read somewhere (unsure here) that the guy was part of the team that maintained the IT systems, and therefore probably had extra privileges that allowed him to do this...

@@MuantanamoMobile opsec is not only about technical skill... And yes, as I wrote earlier they certainly know he printed it, however most other people probably need exemption to use the printer while he probably didnt, hence he could do it for a while without suspicion but it was certainly stupid from him to expect not being caught eventually

The thing that agrivates me the most are the people saying "he had that clearance level so that's how he had access to all that intel". That's not how it works. You have to have a need to see it. That why the pentagon and DOD is quietly investigating the command he fell under and the base it happened at. There was some really sloppy lazy stuff going on in that command and at that base.
The squadron this dude was in had their mission suspended until the AF's investigation concludes. Hope its CC is looking for a new job 'cause I doubt he's ever going to get selected for promotion.
I'd assume he either a) needed to know or b) was in IT for the base he was at
@@lck0ut348 No. Sorry but like so much else wrong with the military it came back to a lazy, willfully incompetent command. Turns out that the command had been warned/questioned about him having unfettered access almost a year before. Idk, if shampoo bottles have instructions, humanity’s intelligence just doesn’t surprise me anymore.
Shampoo against dandruff used to have instructions saying to seek medical attention if you got some in your eye. That turned out to be true, as one woman apparently didn't read those instructions and wasn't careful enough to not get any in her eye, with rather serious results. I always read instructions on chemicals before I use them. If you assume, you make an ass out of u and me.
A friend of mine poked his nose after doing his laundry, resulting in some bleeding. I'd read the instructions on my own detergent, and it said to wash one's hands after using it, as it could irritate the skin. Imagine rubbing your eyes with those fingers. RTFM.

This one gets it. This type of shit doesn’t happened unless warranted. My dad worked in these tallies of gov and you can’t even import and export info without them knowing 1000000%.
Anything sent is ran through super decrypt filters, you can’t have any form of item that could exfil. They even check your pen for data transport potential. Whether hidden usb, private beacon, etc.
There’s no way he accessed that much and wasn’t apprehended before leaving the building. Nor would he have that shit on his personal. That’s round table type data. He wouldn’t have clearance for that and it be out there for so long, without being dead anyway.
