- I've got to get something off my chest. What is Split Wood Acres UA-cam Channel really about? Why do we say homestead and off grid? What are our beliefs and intensions? Watch this video to find out where we stand on things.
Split Wood Acres is doing a budget project of cleaning up our homestead and recycling the scrap metal removed from our property to better our land and environment. We are truly a DIY beginner homestead doing the best with what we have. Follow along and we hope we entertain and help you learn that you to can do this if you have the desire and a piece of property with lots of junk on it.

Agree with you. Too many complaining about if an entertainer (a UA-cam channel) is “real”. I watch to learn and be entertained and also because most TV is garbage.

I think it could be easy to get caught up as a YT'er trying to make new and interesting content and find yourself not actually doing off grid or whatever. I agree with you that if its entertaining and educational that should be the main focus.
You probably won't make any mistakes that haven't already been made. If we learn from mistakes, I should have a couple PhD's. Just don't be afraid to adjust your plans or goals. Thanks for sharing.
