i was just a little kid when I finished FFIX and when I heard this at the end it really stuck with me. i was just a little kid then.. I'm 29 years old now and each time in my life, weather good or bad, happy or sad, bright or grim this song has been something I have listed to for a very long time. I'll listen to it when I'm an old man.. hell maybe my kids will listen to it if I ever have some lol. point is, to me, this is WAY more than a song From a video game..

I just finished FF IX... And I don't know what to say. I've spent 51 hours with these characters, seeing them grow, evolve and moving on, and somehow I think I've grown a little bit as well. Vivi has striked me a lot. When he doesn't know if he even is something more than a puppet, but little by little believes in himself and his friends, and finds a reason to live for, makes me remember that it's okay to don't know who you really are or what you are supposed to do, because with patience you'll get past it and become a better person in the process. Just writing this made me start to cry again, so I'll finish this here: FF IX is a truly masterpiece that changed my life, and made me feel a little better about myself as a human being. I can only thank the creators of this game for making this game the unique experience it is.

Been playing through the FF games for the first time and was recommended this song. Moving on to a new place in my life, it carries weight to it that seems pleasent but melancholy, like one door closes and another is about to open. Im sad, but happy i can experience new things in my life. May all those doing so remember and carry on the good to charish and the bad to learn from.
Great to hear you're getting into the games now. Much like the stories in final fantasy, we're creating our own journey and overcoming obstacles and making friends and sometimes losing some along the way. It's bittersweet but like you said when a chapter closes a new one opens and we have to become the heroes of our story as cheesy as it may sound. Story of my day: I bought my 7 years old son a PS4 with VR, everything was great until he told me that it didnt came with the motion controller, so I went for a quick run to walmart and target. But I failed , due to covid19 everything was out even most of the electronics. "GAMESTOP is permanently close on my area.. "WHY?!!!" so I searched on google "game shop near me" then luckily 1 game store was open near me. so I went there and bought my son the motion controller. I was about to exit the shop, then I saw FFIX and a whole console of PS1 in BOX like new. I bought both for $90. Im 27 years old, last time I played this game is when I was in 1st grade. This is so worth it reminds me of all the good memories I left behind.

3 days ago we had to put down our little 13 year old miniature pinscher. I was there until his last moments and this was the first song that came to mind as we sat in the car of that parking lot after. I've been listening to it on repeat for hours now. Rest in peace Maxx.
It’s been some time sense the angels fell. I remember crying over her, and rejoicing when she returned, only to cry again. She’s drifted, I drifted, we all drifted. I remember finally waking up, and seeing what she had become. She no longer put soul into her work, but made it into mindless slaves. I can’t blame her, with what happened in the year she became soulless, but I don’t appreciate how she gave the excuse of people except quality from her when she made it without a soul. So me and many other elders, left. We left her. We looked at the new her and left. But that doesn’t mean we have up what we loved, we found an amazing Dream, waiting to be Found. The Dream created something beautiful. Friendships, Families, even Love. We were able to move on from what she had become. This song reminds me of her, the fallen angel. She has since been replaced by children and musicians and hero’s and villains and like 3 or 4 furries (one who likes blood), yet I can’t get her to leave my heart. I can’t get anyone I’ve grown out of to leave my heart. While the cats change and the mermaids switch, no one ever leaves my heart. They are all still there. This song is there as well, reminding me of the old days. It’s paved with memories now, but it’s still full of life. As I look at the in-between, I remember her, and how she once told a story as well. But, I know that I can’t stay with her forever, even if long ago she grew with me, she’s gone. i was just a little kid when I finished FFIX and when I heard this at the end it really stuck with me. i was just a little kid then.. I'm 29 years old now and each time in my life, weather good or bad, happy or sad, bright or grim this song has been something I have listed to for a very long time. When he doesn't know if he even is something more than a puppet, but little by little believes in himself and his friends, and finds a reason to live for, makes me remember that it's okay to don't know who you really are or what you are supposed to do, because with patience you'll get past it and become a better person in the process.

Been playing through the FF games for the first time and was recommended this song. Moving on to a new place in my life, it carries weight to it that seems pleasent but melancholy, like one door closes and another is about to open. FFIX is my cousin's absolute favorite video game. She got married over the summer, and this is what was played as she walked down the aisle.
Story of my day:
I bought my 7 years old son a PS4 with VR, everything was great until he told me that it didnt came with the motion controller, so I went for a quick run to walmart and target. But I failed , due to covid19 everything was out even most of the electronics. "GAMESTOP is permanently close on my area.. "WHY?!!!" so I searched on google "game shop near me" then luckily 1 game store was open near me. so I went there and bought my son the motion controller. I was about to exit the shop, then I saw FFIX and a whole console of PS1 in BOX like new. I bought both for $90. Im 27 years old, last time I played this game is when I was in 1st grade. This is so worth it reminds me of all the good memories I left behind.

I remember finally waking up, and seeing what she had become. She no longer put soul into her work, but made it into mindless slaves. I can’t blame her, with what happened in the year she became soulless, but I don’t appreciate how she gave the excuse of people except quality from her when she made it without a soul. So me and many other elders, left. We left her. We looked at the new her and left. But that doesn’t mean we have up what we loved, we found an amazing Dream, waiting to be Found. The Dream created something beautiful. Friendships, Families, even Love. We were able to move on from what she had become. This song reminds me of her, the fallen angel. She has since been replaced by children and musicians and hero’s and villains and like 3 or 4 furries (one who likes blood), yet I can’t get her to leave my heart. I can’t get anyone I’ve grown out of to leave my heart. While the cats change and the mermaids switch, no one ever leaves my heart. They are all still there. This song is there as well, reminding me of the old days. It’s paved with memories now, but it’s still full of life. As I look at the in-between, I remember her, and how she once told a story as well. But, I know that I can’t stay with her forever, even if long ago she grew with me, she’s gone. All I can do is hope that the Dream or Angel of Death or Blood God or Children don’t fall like the angel I once followed did.
