Top important not to TURN on the first step of Natural Turn. Point foot line of dance. This is correctly teached by this elegant woman. This lesson is unique in its simplicity and clarity inside only 9 minutes.
As Viennese I have to say "Chapeau" very well and beautiful done. But what kind of "Beginners" you are adressing?? It has to be "Beginners for professional ballroom dance". Because for dancing our Viennese Waltz like that you need the whole dancefloor for your own in order to be capeable to dance the Viennese Waltz with those steps you showed which is just to find in a tournament setting and not at a ball event where the dancefloor is packed with other people and where you have just 1 or 2 square feet space..which you are covering with just the first step, so where will you then put the following steps in order to not bowl over the other people on the dancefloor???....just saying
@@kencannuck The solution already exists. It´s called Viennese Fleckerl Waltz.= dancing the Waltz on a small spot which has different footwork/different steps = the cross foot steps...in order to be able to dance the Waltz in a ball room where you are not alone on the dancefloor. For Beginners the natural rotation and for Advanced the reverse rotation..and usually you are dancing both to avoid to become dizzily.
👏👏👏Wonderful! Nice explanation of technique!

Step 5 of the man is completely wrong. It is pulled flat across the floor to the other foot. No heel is pulled off.
