Video interview with singer and multi-instrumentalist Tyler Joseph and drummer Josh Dun from the American musical duo Twenty One Pilots. I love that Josh is such a huge support. Like, when Tyler asks if something is too weird, Josh always says no. That's the kind of friendship everyone should have.

i just want to say i hope everyone gets to meet and have a friendship like josh and tyler who always understand each other and support each other without the need to talk. Josh noticed tyler was tired and tried to do all the talking and when josh ran out of things to say and got nervous tyler jumped in and started talking so that josh wouldn't have to and i think thats so sweet and i hope one day i get to have a friend like that. they're minds work best together and thats so nice to see how much they mean to each other in all those interviews and i think because they have such a strong bond they can also extent that bond to us fans and are able to connect and involve us more then other artists can. its really hard to find friends like that and im really glad josh and tyler found each other :) its really annoying when people say tyler could still make music without josh i hate it so much because i dont think he could they need each other not just musically but as friends. i think they're a constant reminder that they have someone there for them always when they need it and are feeling down which is so amazing to see. thats all :) |-/

this actually made me cry ??? You put my thoughts exactly in words. I am unfortunately never going to find that person. Yet, in the overly unlikely chance that I do ever have close friends, I hope they are like this. Memes aside, actually name a more iconic duo. They're perfect as best friends nothing more nothing less and I just want someone like this.
Tyler's voice is rather croaky.
HappyChaos maybe it won't be your friend. It could be your boyfriend/gf because it's a sort of friendship and share of feelings too. I wish you this.

I love how even though Josh's anxiety makes it hard for him to talk in front of people he did anyways because Tyler was tired
He always backs tyler up, he's a whole different person whenever he needs to stand in for Ty and that's beautiful
I love how at 0.22-0.26 Josh looks nervous and like he doesn't know how to answer the question and Tyler notices so he jumps in for the first time in the whole interview so Josh won't have to answer I feel so happy about that for some reason

I just want to see inside their minds, like the things that they both say and how they interpret things is just beautiful
When Tyler was talking about how certain bands basically just go through a routine on stage and treat every show the same, it reminded me of the Bring Me The Horizon show i went to. They barely talked to the crowd and it was just song after song. Don't get me wrong, i love bmth. But like Tyler said the audience does pick up what the band is trying to say and the message, and i think twenty one pilots does a really good job at that and i can't thank them enough.
they were really interactive the two times I've seen them? IDK might've different it was at music festivals both times.
I also went to BMTH show two months ago. Their seem like they didn't care, i had a lot of fun but without THIS SOMETHING. They didn't even bothered to show that their was in my country tho as if nothing ever happened.
1.) please write a song about Josh. a really cute BFF dedication song.
2.) "I would never write about something as dull as another person" "I think that might change eventually at some point" yes tyler that time is now. loling bc tear in my heart. I'm so proud of him and how far he has come :) and I'm so happy he found Jenna and I'm so happy Jenna found Tyler. I'm just happy. twenty one pilots rock. the end.
you can tell josh is so surprised at :25 that tyler's prepared to start talking and him pushing his hair back at :28 makes it seem like he's so relieved that he doesn't have to talk anymore. like damn this guys hittin me with all these deep as hell questions like yo ty these are yours buddy not mine i just like taco bell and cats

The interviewer had great questions.
Ive watched so many interview videos on here and it seems like 99% of the time they ask the same questions like there is some prewritten script that they all have to follow. With such an original band they seem to be interviewed by very unoriginal journalists but Ive heard quite a few intervies from this guy and he asks some really great questions
Allison Reed what I like to think is that he has some really well thought out questions but he uses the questions and kind of changes them with the answers from the previous questions. That's what I would do if I get the opportunity to interview them.

i keep coming back to these interviews. it's so honest to me. not that others aren't. these were how i got to know them.
Okay, I'm having a hard time breathing. right when Tyler began to speak I dropped dead bc he usually has a smooth like peaceful voice that is angelic and now he has like the rough morning voice that's so different than his "normal" voice that's equally angelic and just so I'm how to explain it just Amazing and it's 4 o'clock in the morning and Josh's voice is so soothing I'm like slowly falling asleep. ❤😍😴

These beautiful songs are definitely completely focused on people other than Tyler... I mean maybe they're more about what he feels about them, but still. I love when it's not all introspective, I feel like it brings the songs more into real life.

I feel like he rarely makes his songs about other people for the reasons he described, but he does make them for other people, if you understand what I mean

Tyler gets very real and honest when he's tired. More so than usual
Tyler didn't say a word during part one and did great job, but when he reached a roadblock Tyler came to the rescue. Tyler was obviously in an tge emotional rough, as it is with depression, we all go through it. His mood really reflected on saying people suck and leave. it really is awful to go be on the lows of depression when under presure. Stay strong Ty.
I'm not actually sure if Tyler is upset. I thought that at first, too, but when he spoke, his voice sounded a little scratchy, so he may be on vocal rest. Maybe he and Josh decided beforehand that Josh would do most of the talking.

I love the realness of this interview, but it's so hard to see them like this because they usually joke around so much but in this interview they just seem so tired and upset. They are still too freaking adorable to handle though, as always
They did so good answering these questions. I did not understand what the interviewer was asking sometimes.

I think josh is even more nervous in this one than part one because hes had to answer all the questions and he didn't want to be nervous bc he wanted to be able to get through the questions no matter how anxious he was so tyler wouldn't have to anser but even at the first question hee already started stuttering and getting anxious so tyler answered and it seemed to calm him down. like just watch part one of this to and other interviews. whenever josh has to answer normally in interviews you can tell hes anxious or nervous and then tyler will take over for him normally and it calms him down and its so obvious to tell after knowing that and it just proves how smol of a bean josh is.❤❤❤

That is why both Tyler and Josh are special than any other bands in history. "Each show does matter" they put on a show that will that makes us fans believe in them. They're music is unique and they are sharing, encouraging & sending messages with lyrics to fans. They both have a special bond , not just friends but brothers for life! ❤️TØP
