not if you go by his story g-wiz the guy never met a kmart he didn't love ... comes off like a plain ordinary good dude ... I like ross he's got a good story his story aside from the heights he went to is not unlike a lot of people from my neighborhood where they wanna attain a certain level but can't for whatever reasons ... so they turn to this .. the guys I know never soar to his heights though not even all of them put together on a good week

I absolutely love Rick Ross and thank you so much for making these vids. I have to point one thing out tho. At 16:15, Jimmy asks him since he got life, how is Rick free. Rick says that he taught himself how to read and write and then found a loophole that his lawyer missed. What an incredible thing, and Jimmy just blows right by it.

The difference between booksmart and just plain smart. But then again, it took him half a lifetime to understand the consequences of what he was doing and transcend the environment he came from, which shows the difference between smart and wise.
If we are lucky, some of us may be one of the first two, or even both, few achieve the second.

Legend. Ive never heard someone tell it from his perspective. Ive always understood sellling drugs as one if the few opportunities to make money in impoverished neighborhoods, but the way Rick speaks about it is different. There is no glorification or violence in the way he speaks, he reiterates how he was naive in general and also unaware of the effects his product had on people. Imagine giving all that money up before he even had any idea there would be legal repercussions just because he saw what it was doing to his community. Let alone what he has gone on to do for himself and also for people who are in the same position he was. Unreal

If it had not been for Public Education being a failure to teach him how to read and write. Imagine the man he could have been today. Either way he brought employment to people in his community and was like a Robin Hood. Now he is an inspirational speaker to people of all ages and able to reflect to teach others. Also I was so glad how he calls out rap today about not being truthful and detrimental to kids.

I love what this guy says at 530ish. You SAVE money grows everything gets more accessible. That's why all these guys never move up. It's all about saving and growing. Fuck a 70k chain it don't give back dividends. And especially cars worst investments out there (new cars and putting in useless shit on it)
