Have you checked the hopper shutters for wear ?
Are they both opening and closing correctly ?
Do they both open and close the same amount ?
Also check how the fert is dropping onto the discs .
If it's out by any small margin.
It'll drastically reduce spread width and pattern.
Wash it off.
Have a good look as Kev works the shutter spool.
Pay close attention to the shutter actuators.
You might spot a problem.
That you didn't see before.
Also check for wear on the discs.
Check disc speed against your manufacturers handbook settings .

Spreader i found with our one i have to have one shutter set higher rate one one side, found out when i took discs off and weigh what comes out in 1 minute , also years ago we had a spreader we tray tested and eventually the manufacturer had admitted the drop point in the settings was wrong and was one side we had problems with , just something to check,
Often have stripes around us behind Amazones. Can think of at least two fert testers local to you who usually know the machines better than the dealers
Afternoon, i think you’re problem might be related to the fertiliser product you use .The blended products seem to be very uneven when spread compared to prilled compounds . Blends are made up of different size molecules e.g potash phosphate and nitrogen . The weight of these three for example varies between each other , therefore causes uneven spread pattern . Could also slow down flow in spreader . Just a thought . Hope it helps .

Coming to the end of the breeding season the cows will be cycling together,the bulls can only do so much work in a day.
Check if there is wear between the shutter and the hopper when it is closed,if there is it will be worse when open.The shutter opening will measure the same but the wear will introduce a third dimension to the hole.

@@CrawfordsFarm1 the whole lot is just a shit show, what with slurry ban and Urea ban, let the farmers do what they do best. FARM, I think it’s a bit late to start changing stuff that’s been happening for hundreds of years, I’m sure a guy worked out that it takes more fuel for a plane to do one flight to USA that a 500ac farm uses in a year, it’s a total joke.
