- In this video I am feeding one of my new copperhead snakes. They are an awesome species of pit viper native to the southeastern united states. They are awesome snakes to watch and observe. So make sure to tell me what you think of the new snake down in the comments
#pitviper #venomoussnakes #copperhead
Wouldn't be a UA-cam comment section without people complaining about a live feeding video they willingly clicked on
I’m glad you know it!
Yes, it's almost like they're just LOOKING to stir up some shit deliberately, as if they've got nothing better to do....
Thank you!!!
But u would complain if id kill the snake to feed it to the mouses right? Double standard hypocrite
@@JosuesExotics good video
Mouse: WTF, I thought we were cool.
Snake: Hell na, Food.
💀smh
:Get the .... away from me" -snake
The mouse saw Jurassic Park. He's thinking that if he stays completely still, the snake won't see him and will leave him alone...
Clever girl!
@@JosuesExotics That was with the raptors, but that was also fun.
My dog actually got bite twice last week. Thank God, I made it to Vet Hosp. She is doing fine now.
Dogs tend to be very resilient animals! Glad to hear she is doing fine now!
What was it that she was bitten by
Damn ! Twice tho?!!!!????
@@Yoppaboikit7400 id imagine he has no idea.. probably had two spots on the dog swelling enourmously. It's pretty easy to see when one been bit

The cool thing about pets is that they are your friend and you can cuddle them. No matter how hard you want to believe this venomous snake is your friend ... it never will be ... other snakes perhaps but this one will send you to the hospital. This is not a pet but just an exotic creature that you can observe and feed but not interact with.
Well I think interact with them enough! But I do believe that same pet you cuddle with can do you harm as well! But I definitely wouldn’t be cuddling with them!
stop feeding your dog for a couple of days see how friendly they are lol
@@NewSmithsonian the chickens in the back yard started to go missing.
@@JosuesExotics have you heard the story of the man and the scorpion? A man was preparing to cross a river when a scorpion approached him and asked, "can you help me cross the river?" then man replied, "I can carry you on my back but you mus promise not to sting me." The scorpion agreed and they begin crossing the river. Half way through the river the scorpion decides to sting the man. They both start drowning and the man yells, "why did you sting me brotha!?" the scorpion replies, "I'm sorry, it was in my nature! I just couldn't resist."
@cocodalish bro who the hell cares about the man and the scorpion?
How the hell is a scorpion supposed to talk in real life this makes no sence lmao.
Also scorpions can't drown that easily lmfao
My grandfather got bit by one of these snakes when he was 2 and almost died. Glad he made it through.
Glad to hear he’s ok. These are nothing to play around with for sure!
@@JosuesExotics It was when he was 2. Good thing for me he pulled out.
@@seabrook1976 There's so many jokes that can be made here. lol
What if he didn’t pull out? 😳
@@kevinuchiha434 I ain't sayin anymore lol
That was super mouse. Two strikes and still not dead. Copperheads make me nervous. My house is kind of in the trees and there is a lot of red dirt, sticks/branches and leaves on the ground. A rattlesnake will warn you if you get close. A copperhead won't make a sound. Then you either get to close or step on them and you get tagged. So I'm always walking around my yard like there is a minefield.
I wear boots when I mow.
Copperheads aren't that dangerous. Their bites rarely cause death in adults. However they have claimed many fingers, toes, and pets. They are to be respected. If you have kids that's another story!
Where do you live I wouldn't live thete
Snake: Fuck off! ... wait, can I eat that? Fuck it, doing it live!
My thoughts exactly!
It's all about nature in action happens everyday whether you like it or not
Absolutely right!
Happens everyday in a box?
@@the1thatgotirwinhardit's still natural since it's not already dead but ok
@@Lkennymccormickye but in nature the mouse has a chance of survival and in this box there is no way of survival
The way the snake yawns or whatever it’s doing is absolutely adorable what a gorgeous snake. Beautiful ❤
Thanks! I think she’s quite the looker as well!
Watching this food item perish,
I noticed how it fought on to live
after being struck twice .
Once usually does the job in the wild, while this food item struggled
on .
I thought of humans that take their
own life , here a mouse or rat knows
that they are gonna die and yet
in spite of all odds against them ,
they have ass enough to
fight on .
I don’t enjoy wanton rated R butchery of animals for kicks ,
but this video did make me
appreciate life a little more .
I love all life , I just don’t care to
have rats or mice running loose
in my house .
One other thing , the Copperhead
performed a good bite placement
twice .
Good video , good job .
Good Science.
Keep up the good work !!!
🤠🤠🤠
Yea the circle of life is something that’s pretty crazy. I will say from keeping venomous snakes in general makes you appreciate life a little more. I see this stuff first hand. It’s completely different seeing it in person. But I use the utmost caution when working with them!
Why you write this like Robert Frost?
Dude awesome video. I admit I’m one of the wimps that feels a little bad for the disease spreading rodents 😂 but only a little. I haven’t ever seen a copperhead (one of my favorite snakes BTW) fully show its fangs before so that was dope! Thanks for the killer video! Has anyone told you your voice sounds like Boyd Holbrook? Keep dropping us the sick vids👍👍
I'm checking out who Boyd Holbrook is. But no no one has told me that before! Thanks for stopping bye!
Beautiful snake
Thanks!
The rat is saying "Dude, I was just trying to make a friend!"
Snake: "Yeah, but I just woke up and youll go great with my morning coffee." 🥞🍳🥓☕
I let my Taurus Judge produce a sentence on one of those while on my riding lawnmower. A beautiful sight those Birdshots made.
That’s a really nice pistol! I have one myself!
Snake: Nah. You stay here. 😂
Exactly!
Copperhead: hey bro, you dead yet...gots to eat u.
Mouse: not yet bro, give me couple more minutes to take it in.
haha sometimes you have to just let in marinate though!
Poor mouse 🐁 he was like you love me right is this my new home?
It just be like that sometimes!
it should be a crime for a snake to be THAT pretty lol
I know right!
Just out of curiosity do you have to have a permit or a special kind of license to keep poisonous danger noodles???
Here in my state you don’t need any permits to keep native species of venomous snakes 🐍!
You should always have proper experience and precautions before owning anything even mildly venomous. NEVER let your guard down
I hate how people complain as a snake lover who had 3 snakes just stop complaining this is what snakes eat you clicked n this video.
That's just a part of it man I guess!
5 years I had a pet western diamondback and a copperhead. The copperhead I had trained to be calm and I was able to free hand.
The western diamondback is an awesome species! Hopefully I can get one sooner or later!
I was sentenced to 3 years in prison for having venomous snakes. CLASS X FELONY here in Illinois. They came from sweetwater Texas on a snake 🐍 hunt.Long storie.Ex brother in law turned me in.
Usually I’m okay with live feedings, but that mouse looks like my pet mouse, Ari. Makes me feel bad for it, but I know that’s nature.
Just curious, no hate! Why are you “live feeding“? Because I saw on another channel where the snakes were fed with dead mice/rats. Just because you want to see it for yourself, show it to people or is there an advantage (nutrition,... ) for the snake?
Yeah.. I want to know the same thing??!!!
i guess its for the vids or he just simply likes it like that bcz its similar to that in the wild
Bc he wanted to and plus we want to see the live feeding not just you
Wild gives them a chance to escape, it’s not similar.
snakes can sometimes be picky. some will only eat frozen/thawed, some will only eat live, some dgaf. they’re all different
Brother your narration is on point…excellent video 🤜🏾🤛🏾💯💪🏾🔥🫡🫡
Thanks for stopping by to check it out!
A timer in the corner, to show the elapsed time, would be phenomenal. It would be interesting to know the time span as everything happens.
That I might be able to do. I’ll look into that soon!
23 seconds
that mouse literally WALKED UP to the snake what was he thinking
That's the problem. He wasn't thinking!
The snske was actually scared of the mice😂😂
Yea I can see that!
Is constriction a faster easier way to go than envenomation?
That is a good question! It really depends. Some snakes have just evolved different ways to take down the most beneficial prey items for their diet and what’s available.
That mouse didn't even bother to put up any kind of fight at all.. It's almost like it knew it was just inevitable and excepted its fate..
I know right! Kinda sad but it’s the circle of life!
It was paralyzed by the bite.
@@JosuesExoticsI’m definitely thinking about buying a snake but I will definitely not be doing a live eating, it’s different if it’s already dead, so I’ll have to figure out a alternative way.

I noticed the Copperhead was shaking its tail the same way as a rattler when the mouse got close to her. Is this a common characteristic of viper snakes?
Well I know alot of the American vipers do that to mimic rattlesnakes a little bit. I don’t know if it’s true for all vipers though.
@@JosuesExotics it's interesting. It's a great ambush tactic.
@@JohnHoulgate alot of snakes do this. Moth my king snakes and both of my corn snakes do this
Only the female shakes the tail.
Is that due to the venom not being as potent as some other snakes? Or did he just not inject enough?
Mouse: uhhhh hi ooo you scales look pretty
Snake: ELEMENT OF SURPRI-
Mouse: AAA what did you do to me where what what is happening i thought we were bros dude
Snake: r u dead yet?

poor mouse .... my god its brutal
If you say so!
Nah the one that is brutal are the monitor lizzards
It can't be a human being who pulled this off. It's okay in nature, but feeding a mouse alive is dishonorable.
But dead is ok? Its the same shit bro
be a man bro،this is life.
dude its the circle of life 😭😭
I feel the same way with you guys! But I will say that everyone has the right to express your opinion! I know these videos can be controversial for some people so it totally fine! I won’t judge you!
💔💔💔💔
It is amazing how the venom in the pray does not affect the snake.
Well they are tolerant against their own venom!
The venom starts digesting the prey before the snake eats it.
😂
I never understood why a lot of keepers feed their animals in different enclosures. I’ve been feeding live and frozen thawed in their home enclosures for 23 years. Trust me snakes know when they’re being fed they are far smarter then any human or animal in existence
Well in this case in particular I am cohabitating two copperheads in the same enclosure so to feed them I like to separate them to make sure they don't fight over the same food!
Nope, our human brain is much larger than the snakes whole head! Humans are by magnitudes smarter than snakes. Show me a snake that sends robots to mars, builds fusion reactors and clones goats. You won't find it !!!
Beautiful snake. What is your most venomous snake and do you have any cobras
I would say the eastern diamondback. But no I don’t have any cobras yet!
He must hit him with that super spice 🤣🤣🤣😭😭
You already know 😂
It's a perfect video for psychopaths and perverts.
Everyone has their own opinion!
So which one are u since u watched it
@@williambutler4847 Exactly
Which one are you since you watched it
Where do you fit since you made the statement and you too are watching?
The mouse been playing the Pokémon games. Don't move outside of battle and the poison can't hurt you. Then everything changed when it forgot its position and kept moving.
Yea he must have not played them very well!
2:22 did the snake just yawn?
Yes!
Always amazed me how the mice just walk right up to the snake to say hello...
Honest I wonder if the copperhead wasn't saving that meal for a bit. Perhaps she wasn't as hungry as we thought.
Out of the "venomous" snakes we have here, the copperhead has the weakest venom and the timber rattler has the strongest. Some of our rear fanged snakes have even stronger venom but cannot deliver it in a defensive strike. I'm not volunteering to be bitten by any of them, but if they're tame, we'll take in a movie together.
See that’s what i was thinking as well. But I believe they just weren’t super duper hungry!
Very nice copperhead 🐍
Thanks!
ملاحظة بسيطة و هي أن سم هذه الأفعى ليس قوي مقارنة بسم أفعى الجرس، او الكوبرا، او افعى الغابون ،والمامبا السوداء، وغيرها من الافاعي شديدة السمية .
I can agree with that!
LOL 😂😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😂 the narrator should definitely be employed by NatGo he is very descriptive the way how described the situation was completely funny 🤣 great video bro 👑
Gotta have that comedic satire! That’s what keeps the people going!
funny? you have a warped sense of humor.
@@mitsunori222000you literally clicked on a video with the title explaining what was going to happen…
Another great video! Thanks!
Glad you enjoyed it!
I’ve never seen a snake yawn before.
Copperhead venom is mild neurotoxin so that's probably why it took so long for the mouse to die
Look at the way he walks lol
Look at it!
Im kinda used to this today, its interesting, but do you sometime feel sad for this mices. Wonder if this owners do. Sure its survival of the fittest, but can kinda try to reflect.
That's a beautiful copperhead. I've never seen one with the tail that has the coloration seen here. Is that the remnant of the green tail that they usually have when they are juveniles, or is this the permanent color of your copperhead'a tail? It's an amazing blue, or at least looks that way on my screen.
See I was thinking the tail was from them being juveniles but this may be their tail color. I plan on breeding my two copperheads together and possible making some water moccasin hybrids as well!
The mouse think that he can fool the snake just like pretending to be a death but they didn’t know that snake will never mess around same as cat
Nope they don’t mess around at all!
Isn't this one Agkistrodon contortrix laticinctus, the Broad-Banded Copperhead?
I believe they are both the broadbanded copperhead
You forgot to get antivenin for the mouse. Antivenin wouldn't help for the mice I give my corn snake because she uses good old fashioned muscle to kill her food.
No he has to eat his food!
@@JosuesExotics That was a joke.
I know snakes dont need to eat that often so how long does a mouse meal last them?
Roughly a little over a week. It just depends on the size of the snake.
Time lapse music was awesome! Thank you
Glad you liked it!
Ratatouille gonna have to get it back in blood😂
The snake: Fresh meat
Yes!
One of these bad boys got inside the house when I was younger, curled away in a closet. My Dad quickly ended the horror. Closet never felt the same though. 😂

Nope not at all!

Good video! Saw a watersnake in a creek in my area for the first time (as of this post), thought it was a copperhead, but having seen this I see a very big difference in the markings. The head wasn't that big on it and it was hard to tell if it was narrow or the wider head the venomous snakes have. Couldn't see the eyes. Really enjoy seeing the snakes in person.
It’s a whole different vibe in person!
Any body notice that it pooped in the snakes cage before got ate

What I find interesting is the precision of the strike. All Coppers regardless of age seem to target the base of the skull. Given the thermal imput not that surprising I suppose.
