    good work!! :)
    I am convinced that this is one of the longest-running battle mixers in history ...
    I own one since 2008, it has survived a fire ..!
    And all the various problems that have determined its successors, are easily solved with unlocking lubricant spray ..!
    (the frets B1 B2 B3 B4 B5 B6 they come back as new! ) and recently I also cleaned the wheels to maneuver scratch live ...! always with unlocking lubricant spray they come back as new ..!
    To clean the faders I first apply ethyl alcohol to clean the bars first, and then always release spray (alternatively oil for sewing machines)
    good scratches at all!

    Great video. I like that you're using a bunch of flux. I've been told for long time by different people that I shouldn't use flux and only use rosin core. I've never had an issue in over 15 years of working on electronics while using random flux. Also rosin core often doesn't work on very lightly tarnished contacts that can't be easily cleaned.

    Hi George, I have a range ttm 56, took it apart for a deep cleaning and just don’t think I connected it back correctly. Can you post a vid about that particular mixer?

      Hey Marcus, did you have any luck with your 56? How did you get it back together? Mine's in for service at the moment and the tech's have no idea how to get it back together as the ribbon cables connecting the two boards are so short!

    Hi have you ever had an issue on a 57 where one channel on the mixer (the right in my case) plays an uneven signal out of the L+ R speakers? Have narrowed it down to that channel in the mixer and I can turn pan to about 2 o clock to compensate. Is this a prob with the board or with the pan knob you think?

      Have you swapped audio sources and cables to confirm it’s not the audio player? Sometimes a turntable cartridge isn’t fully seated against the tonearm contacts, for example. This can cause the left or right to play quieter or not at all. Just curious what all has been checked so far.

    I need to replace a couple of tact switches ( B buttons ) on my 57, are the '16166' switches the correct part for this job?

      I wait to receive and test the broken table but maybe it's possible I will need 2 potentiometers, master and headphone and maybe a crossfader knob. Do you sell parts? How much it will cost for this?

      I sell longer connectors for the ttm-56/ttm-57 So if you need them contact me at the number provided in the video. A good tech should be able to put it back together with no issue.

    Hello, how are you? My TTM 56 And 57 There is a slight noise in the headphone volume knob, I'm very careful, I never leave the equipment, I think it's strange, I have deoxit, do you think it solves this problem? Gust right on the shaft!?

    • @360MIX
      @360MIX  7 років тому +1

      Yes you can spray alittle Deoxit on the Headphone volume knob but spraying the gap between the shaft might not penetrate the wipers due to the grease inside of the stem of the shaft to give it some tension when you turn it. best thing to do is take the bottom 4 screws out and the 3 fader knobs and this will give you access to the headphone volume control. See the start of the video..

      Thank you for the contact, I did this and I already have a clear vision the potentiometer, Where exactly should I apply deoxit? Because I do not see any opening
