The Bob Ross of cooking
The reason why i got more into barbecuing is this man right here. About 15-20 years ago.
I'm pretty sure that Step #1 is "figure out where the fuck to buy sugar cane" and not "spatchcock the chicken"
I have been watching your show here and there for a long time. Cudos to you and the entire crew. I am 42 now but the first time i saw your show i was like 23. Best cooking show i have ever seen. I fucking love it.
Didn't even know Steve has been doing this that long. I've been watching him since late 2014
@@jakerattle95 His first show was Barbecue University, which ran from 2003-06. Unfortunately, finding clips and episodes of it can be quite difficult, though there are a few on the American Archive of Public TV website. I'm hoping it becomes available for streaming someday soon though!

That background is spectacular. Anyone know where that is?
Close, it the desert princesses golf course just west of Palm Springs ca. I was borne in ps and that’s where we went to on Mother’s Day.
Legendary hair.
Does the sugar cane make the chicken sweet?

Notice he said, "that is really different ". He didn't say delicious like he always does. Mmmm
‘Really different.’ Agreed. Not the ringing endorsement I was expecting. I guess I’m not going to go looking for raw sugar cane in Wisconsin after all...

Why do a show about west Indies cooking in Palm Springs, CA?
that's like saying a chef can't make pasta on a show unless he goes to italy
Love the channel. I have your project smoke book. I made this one a few times already for the fam and they all love it. Next up is the jerk chicken. Thanks for sharing your knowledge on the bbq. Respect!
