- Dr Naledi Pandor thanks the Muslim community for their support on February 4, 2023 in Cape Town, South Africa. Dr Naledi Pandor, the South African Minister of International Relations & Cooperation, was hosted by the Gatesville Mosque (Masjidul-Quds) to provide feedback on the recent International Court of Justice (ICJ) judgement against Israel with regards to its military activity in Gaza since October 7, 2023.

Add my gratitude to all the others. 15yrs ago I joined an international group in Palestine who went to show solidarity and help farmers with their olive harvests in villages around Bethlehem. We saw with our own eyes the brutality of Settlers , the atrocities of the IDF, the disrespect and harassment at checkpoints., the destroyed schools and houses. But we also met some of the finest people on this earth. When we returned home only a few wanted to hear or believe us. Our MPs would do nothing and we found out they were supporters of Israel. I agree with everything our honourable sister Dr Naledi Pander has said. At last the veil of deceit and lies has fallen away from Israel and the world can now see the inhumanity of the apartheid state. The world can also see the spinelessness and self-interest of the complicit western governments. Thankyou dear Naledi for setting a high moral example to shame our western governents.
