Love the safety helmet but flip flops for the feet next to the spinning toe grinders is no problem!!! Great build Mr HO! I am just jealous because here in the UK I cannot make such a vehicle without only using it on private land miles away from snobby neighbours calling the Police aboout noise and safety! I gave you a thumbs up and I am a subscriber before the haters desend upon me!
Well, it didn’t break as dreaded though, as demonstrated off road with some motocross - like riding maneuvers plus, the addition of an engine representing extra laden weight and stress on the entire bike assembly, with even part of the frame missing near the end of the video. So far so good to me. Not to mention, Papylus Bikes might even commend him for giving their product a brief promotional demonstration on strength and durability.
Nice work - BUT that bottom tube on the frame NEEDS to be there! At the very least relocate it to above the engine or bend a tube to go under the engine and make a cradle for the motor. Please put that tube back on before that head tube snaps and you go face down!
I think he probably knows more about the loading capacity than you considering that he engineers things like this and does welding. I don't know how you can see a metal bar like that snapping so easily. I would think that the wheels would give in before that bar snaps.
@@maxwells2602 I am a certified welder and have been in the metal fabrication industry for 26yrs. I am not going to get into the weeds about welding, but there is a reason why staircases, buildings, bridges and bicycles use triangles. Without the bottom tube all of the stress is put on the headset (stem where the handle bar attaches) of the bicycle. That is not the strongest weld to begin with because it doesnt have to be, because it shares the load with the bottom tube. Now its taking it all itself. I am being less critical of his idea but more concerned for his safety. The wheels are circles and distribute their load evenly from the tire contact area to the hub and again up to the stem (the weak point in this design) in short the wheels would not collapse in on themselves. Have you ever seen that happen to any wheel under normal circumstances? This is about Trigonometry (math), physics and safety, not insulting the builder
The gear ratios all wrong. Your clutch is going to be on fire. It's like you're taking off in 5th gear. And you better watch riding that off-road cuz that neck is about to snap right off. You need that stable triangle, for under the Triple Tree section.
Hey I've got a question Will a 8 tooth sprocket in the front and a 40 tooth sprocket in the rear be good for 1.2 hp? Or will i have to modify the gearing more?
Add a scooter transmission and it will get less stress and longer life maybe? Great skills man; would see that kind of work being very much valued by anyone with a need of the skills.
Nice job I have done one myself and I found that the centrifugal clutch slipped because is metal on metal. If u take the clutch apart and bond some brake pads on the clutch It works much better.
You would think that a chainsaw motor would work really well since it already has a centrifical clutch but they actually don't work well at all they tend to be extremely underpowered I used a much larger chainsaw and it was the same thing very low power
My 1st Go-kart was a Soap Box Derby Kart made out of boards. I used nails to fasten a 2hp cast iron Briggs & Stratton to it. My maiden run on a dirt road at probably 20mph rounding a corner hitting bumps the engine broke the wood plank and came off. It was tumbling along being pulled by the throttle cable. I was so elated that it worked l went back to work on it for another day nailing a plate of steel on a new plank to get it running again. 1964 l was 12yrs old. ben/ michigan
Good job dude.

True, but this retard disregarded the engine cooling completely, and failed to install any air filter, for these jungle conditions.
bike is faster and requires no fuel.
why TF is it so slow? Are chainsaws so weak or there is something wrong with transmission/clutch ?
@@expioreris its most likely because of the torque. it can go pretty fast (25-35mph) but takes a long time to get there

Nice job. But you also include a gearbox (may be a bike gearbox) to it. Sure it will make speed control easier.
just keeping the rear shifter could do this

@@Mr_Ho u can go faster if you use the bicycle freewheel gears it should make you as fast as the scooters
@@MrYoshio14 i dont think it will go fast because the rear gears will be too small and the engine will struggle to rev up and the cluch will overheat

Great work dude, maybe an option is to use the already existing transmission, and add another reduction stage so your clutch doesn't suffer as much

Pra uma criança ótima diversão 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Все хорошо. Респект мастеру😊. Но вот охлаждение цилиндра плохое. Надо кожух делать для крыльчатки.
Đạp ga bằng chân sẽ ổn áp hơn
Còn 2 tay làm phanh mới an toàn
I'd put a shroud on the fan for both safety and for directing air to the motor for cooling.
