When The Bugs Don't Get The Memo: Changing Tactics To Find Fish / Tim On The Fly

Everything about this late April day, weather, location, and past history screamed dry flies. I was looking forward to a day of white bass on the surface. Apparently, the bugs missed the memo and not nearly enough of them were around to get the fish looking up. Luckily, the squirrel tail scrat eventually saved the day, or at least kept the skunk off. I'll have a video for tying this scrat variation up in the very near future, so stay tuned.
