The Nude Glow looks so pretty 😍!! And I too experienced the quint drama. In the end I had to place a second order to get the Golden Day quint, also super pretty.
Important: many high-end products contain the same formula as pharmacy or mid-range cosmetics. What happens is that sometimes the packaging is more striking and elegant but not for that you buy something better you can only find a couple of better things but it is not worth the expense you only pay for the brand
I just bought the Dior Powder no Powder because of Samantha March and love it! I’ve been wanting to try more from the Backstage line. I know these aren’t from that line but - gorgeous! I love the nude glow but I’m fair and cool toned. I don’t know if I could pull that off. I’m sure I’ll find something on their website. 😁💜

It's so funny how different highlighters sit on different people. In Angela Van Rose's video the pink glow melded with her skin (light neutral skin) and for you it's the nude glow. The opal one - is it alien slutty enough for Thersea is dead maybe?

These intrigued me too but none of the shades look dark enough for anyone darker than medium. Edited to say they look so so light online but maybe they will work. However I have alot of highlighters already but I may still get one of these. Lol. They are very pretty.
The highlighters are pretty. Dior knows their highlighters. I still want to pick up their backstage palette from Sephora. I’ve been wearing highlighter on my eyes these days with bronzer in my crease.

I think the Quints work better when you don’t use every color. I have Soft Cashmere and I am always tempted to keep packing on the color. It starts too get to dramatic. It looks better with less. I literally can put together an eye look in five minutes, no two. If it takes longer, I am doing it wrong.
@@tetehghea I actually would not recommend the Dior Quints, at this point. They changed their formula and I don’t like it anymore. They removed the talc and some other ingredients are probably different. They just simply are different. Some don’t blend as nicely and the shine is not as noticeable. It certainly depends on the color story. I would certainly watch reviews before buying each one.
My Dior SA told me these are going to take the place of the OG version of the highlighters. If you want a shade of the OG formula, pick it up before they discontinue them.

The one thing that’s difficult with Dior highlighters is they don’t take undertones into account. I’m fair and warm and question olive. But I’m very fair, so nudes look good on me, but I can’t have them be deep. Pinks look terrible on me despite being fair.
I swear the Kevin Acouin Neo-highlighters and the Laura Mercier Radiance Baked Powder highlighter do NOT enhance texture whatsoever. Those are the only two I’ve found though.
Natural origin is a thing now apparently. Chemicals are chemicals regardless whether derived from “natural” origin or a lab. Natural origin is only better (imo) if the overall process to extract the product is more sustainable as a whole compared to the lab version.
