Geil, ich habe Rory 1987 in der Dortmunder Westfalenhalle live gesehen. Unvergessen! Rory Gallagher und Gary Moore sind nach wie vor meine absoluten Gitarrenhelden!
Ich seh sie am 6.10. in Rüsselsheim im Rind. Freu mich riesig! Nachtrag: waren absolut gut, vor allem Gerry mit seinen 70 sehr agil! Leider nur ein ausgesprochen dünner Besuch
It's a 'tribute / artist' model that Fender produced over 10 years ago, limited numbers, limited time in the market. Up close, it doesn't look authentic, but it's great to see a tribute guitarist play a tribute guitar and play all the licks that Rory played. Now, have you seen pictures of Rory's beat up Bassman amp? That really looks cool (and well traveled).
lets be truthful,gerry left rory when he was ill,it was then rory needed him most,but he left rory,now he is trying to cash in on rory,s legacy,shameful
I recognized some faces here and thought my mind is playing triks on me. Only then I realised this was in Germany, Balve, little town next to Hemer, where I come from and in fact know these faces. Combined with the realization that I missed it gave me shivers :D damn, will they come back?^^
Great to see Gerry is alive and well! One of my bass heroes of all times!
