The nurseries here in California and probably the whole ornamental industry in US have been using a lot of cocofiber in making soil mixes. The coco peat which is actually the coconut dust by-product of coconut fiber extraction is not a peat in the real sense of the world to compare it with the real "peat moss" which is very expensive. Most of the coco peat commonly used here are from Sri Lanka, India, Pakistan, etc. In the years past, a Filipino-US trader was able to bring in Philippine coco peat until the deal was cancelled because the Filipino sales representative by-passed the trader and directly contacted the grower for the pricing to the displeasure of the latter. Please prepare a laboratory analysis of the coco peat ready and current when prospective buyers come and request one. They would like to see the quality of the product looking primarily on the salt content (e.c.). Mararaming salamat po.
Pede paso yan organic...
Thanks 😊👍
I bought some coco peat at 99 cents store but it's not a lot..
@JP SupahboyI have not seen coco "peat" from the Philippines being sold at the major box stores here. Most of the supplies in compacted form come from India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, etc. Mexico, the top 8th coconut producing country in the world, exports majority of coco "peat" to the US.
yan galing sa nasabi mo!! Ang problema ng mga filipino ay ang ating work ethics and once it is disapproved by higher standards, DONE!!! common Fil mistake, haha
Cost of LPG and firewood is probably high right now everywhere in the Philippines. I think it's possible to use the coconut fiber for cooking. It should be easy to come up with a design for a working stove utilizing it.
Gawin nilang parang pellets

No way but UP, kasi magaling sya, he knows what he’s doing. God bless to Sir Milo and Sir Buddy.
sir ano contact no. ni milo, interesado ako s cocopeat. salamat
Nabibili po yan dito as compressed blocks. Iresearch nyo po kasi for sure may market yan.
Thnx.
Homeboy coco peat + rice Hull + cow manure = good fertilizer use for planting . only for suggestion only Bro. they use sphagnum same as coco peat but I belive coco peat has more value than sphagnum peat...USA
I agree with you. I live here in San Diego.
Sphagnum is $10.47/3.5 cu ft bag
Coco peat is $5/gallon. But in terms of seed germination coco peat is better.

E market nyo po as mulch.
May acid yung coco peat?
Same lang mam.. Sana may makuhang good buyer si sir Milo.. para everybody happy.. Lalo n Ang cummunity
Need pong i process nila yan para mas mabilis i market at ask the assistance siguro from DOST or DA ano pede at maglaan ng time for research n development yayaman ka sir Milo
we re an agri country, i would suggest to reevaluate the organic value of this product, its other benificial use.
and the potential market..more research.. eg. baka puedeng pandagdag abono sa mga palayan and to improve the soil quality for its fiber content..
Panu sir bintahan Ng bunot sa inyo kinikilo Po ba?
The spirit of an Industrial Engineer. Good luck Engr Milo. Kaizen!
Good luck in your business...yes, exercise honesty cuz honesty is the best policy especially in business.
Very well said sir
Namamahalan po kami kaya we opt to use RH, CRH or Alnus Compost na mas mura..
Im thinking of the same thing low cost technology at My market to.
Salamat Sir Buddy. At kayo at maasahan . Kahit saan.. kakatuwa at napag unlakan nyo sya.
Kudos Sir Buddy & AgriBusiness Team!
magaling si Milo. Wishing him the best.
Pwede in gawing hallow blocks for construction din
All the best po sir MILO at maraming salamat sir Buddy silent viewer here from KSA Riyadh keep safe always and God Bless you all!
Pwdeng gaming floral pot and etc.
Good suggestion sir.. once n may mag didrive n sa rotating mill/screen nila.. mechanically from renewable energy. .. loader nlng need nila..
Affordable ang price I will share this video so that magkaroon pa kau ng mga new clients because I’m inspired by this video. Salamat po sa channel na ito to promote a lot of information in the Agri-business. God bless you more
great sharing video friend thanks for sharing lovely place..
Orchids in northern California used ground bark of trees in pots. Maybe coco peats, Coco coir and Coco fiver is good to grow orchids in pots. Watching from California, USA
What limits the use of coco peat in the nursery industry is its high salt content as most coconut palms from where they come from are grown along or near the coastal areas. Salts in the soil media are injurious to the roots of sensitive plants, cause irreversible damage and death to the tissues. The roots lose its function to absorb essential nutrients and take in air resulting to the death of the plants.
Coco coir sa Home Depot (USA) $34.98 per bag (1.5 cubic feet). Used in hydroponics.
Ah mahal pala...
Very well said sir
good for hydroponics farming
Now a supporter of this channel. Will love to see more videos from your channel

Ask your government to look and consider to export iyan sa USA. Napaka mahal iyang coco coir binibinta dito sa garden center.
Binibinta sa Amazon compress into 5 kg blocks na coco coir around $12.50 each blocks
i guess, we need to solve the problem in decorticating to produce high percentage of long fiber to comply with export specification. Second is to find application for coir and peat.
i don't know but is seems some steps are missing. Usually there's another machine to separate the long and short fiber. also thin and thick fiber...
Wow....... how i wish i can buy a lot of it... you have a big land...you can make a big garden po with those...ang tataba po nyan ng tanim...
Wow! God bless Po sir Buddy & sir Milo.
Coco peat is excellent for growing mushrooms.

Sir Milo you gave me idea to do with my coconut husk di lang basta sinusunog sa farm ko.. Thank you for your vlog.. and sir Milo all the best your business will grow more.. ,
Greetings from WA state! Pwede po syang gawin carbonized material, say carbonized coco fiber to be used for making BRIQUETTES. Learn how to process briquettes product. Maraming use ang briquettes... cooking, barbecue, heating. Salamat po. Mabuhay!
nice suggestion
In other words, malaki ang potential ng business mo kung mag- diversify ka ng ibang products dahil meron ka na raw material. Pwede ka din gumawa ng coco fiber grow mats, coco fiber ground cover mats, coco fiber planters para sa gardening for plantitos and plantitas. Pwede mo rin gawin fuel pellets for cooking.

Godbless sir Milo hope you can have more clients to come and Take care sir Buddy
Coco coir pot sir pwede mo magawa yn. Ask DOST sa machine. Merong machine gawa ng India to make coco coir pot nasa youtube.
Very nice recommendation !
Sir kilangan mo nang tao sa research and development (R&D) sa coir, at medyo mura yung benta mo sa compost na coco peat..dapat consider mo yung time na compost- so dapat my costs rin yun, so dapat 70 pesos benta mo per sack..China is not the only buyer sa world market..mas malaki a ng market sa US kasi malakas ang domestic market compared to China..hope for your success..
maggandang ka deal si sir milo .. give and take ika nga..

There is a lot of possible use for that product. I hope someone will buy them from you. God bless!

Me too waiting sa Melon update.
Yes that would be the best filler sa mga cushion instead of foam, mas eco friendly
I hope someone process this as alternative to bubble wraps and styro.
Tama
Tama po.. whenever I buy online I message the seller to use Biodegradable materials if possible. I accumulated lots of plastics and made it a cushion... I wish they are biodegradable
Very good idea
That’s what the government should help with marketing instead of people who received free money but no contribution / no profuctivity. iandoverall
Baka pwede gawing mulching yung coco fiber?
Pede yata gawing kahoy or furniture or blackboard coaster flywood ung coco fiber.f
Godbless po soon dadami buyers nyo sir Milo
pabili niyo po sa mga may garden. as a tve (agriculture teacher ), gamit n gamit po yang coco coir sir . pinapadala ko students ko niyan
Agree with you. Ginagamit in preparing potting media.
Suggest for nurseries like 5 and 10 lbs per bags for orchids growers.
coco coir can be use as mixture for soil media. thats organoc material marami pong gamit niyan sir. it can also b use as good media for marcotting.
Charcoal, or per sack pang plantitos plantitas
Mabenta Ang coco hush tulad ng types of milling, either brand form .
Good job! Agribusiness.
Pwede po siguro ito gawing pellets. Pulverized cocopeat to pellets for cooking.. alternative sa mataas na LPG..
tama po kayo, sa Thailand, Netherlands, China and other European countries meron mga bio-scientist na gumagawa nyan mga biodegradable food trays, egg trays, packaging materials, thermal insulation, coconet matting to prevent soil erosion, also as bio-mass fuel, charcoal briquettes, other than as garden or agricultural usage, etc..sana mabigyan ng kaukulang pansin at suporta ng gobyerno ang mga ganitong cottage industries natin..
Omg… this is $$$ if they can find a buyer. Especially here in the US.
VERY TRUE !! I completely agree with you. This was also my recommendation but a subscriber personally attacked me instead.
I don't know where your place is at but I have a strong feeling it's in Quezon where there's one of the big coconut industries in the country. This Saturday, June 17, I will be in Tiaong for my brother's birthday celebration. I hope I can visit your coco peat processing place if it's anywhere in Quezon.
