i have a 03 just get a resonator delete and muffler delete it sounds way better than this

@@slocum9509 eh, it’s too late. It has a flowmaster muffler, not sure which one, but it’s good the way it is. Selling the car, after I fix the rockers and paint.

Glass packs are actually mufflers got 2 mufflers on the car but sounds pretty good

Hello Bro, Just wondering would it be better replacing the existing straight thru muffler and putting a turbo muffler and keeping the existing the resonator instead of the longer glass pack? Right now I'm in the same situation as you were before. My exhaust is pretty loud like your before Were I live in Daly City CA. Cops give out tickets alot in this area. Please let know thoughts. Thanks again

It will be loud even if you switch the exhaust. 2.5in piping is way too big unless youre going turbo. Mine is 2.25 and still way too loud. I actually have 2 glasspacks on it now. Which helped alot but thats just how it is. What it needs is a muffler at the end but theres no room for it with how the exhaust piping is laid out

I looked at the description on my exhaust. It's not 2.5 it's 2.25 in pipe size.
I looked at another 2000 Focus. It's looks like he revamped his exhaust system and put a small glass at the end. It looks like his got 3 mufflers..... Hmm.

No. One is a dud and got stuck. So i left it in as a plug
