For ppl outside of SF, the big TV tower in the background is Sutro Tower and is actually considered to be a pretty significant landmark in SF, not to mention it's farther away IRL than it looks in the video.
You should get a field strength analyser and check out the very high RF you are getting from the antenna as I did down on eighth avenue about half a mile away from where you are. At that place there is about one third of the scale, where you are it is much higher. I don't know what the effects might be but it would be interesting to check it out.
I think they took the wrong approach. They should have gone with Stahl House style architecture with floor to ceiling windows and slightly cantilevered out to get the full impact of the view. The Stahl house is truly 'iconic' and timeless.
One look at the oddly incongruent exterior and I just mute the voice of the narrator/designer or real estate agent/Sotherby's. If you just watch the video without sound, it's just another one of these properties in SF that has a really exquisite views. Virtually every mansion or expensive structures above $15M-$20M has unbelievable interior design, so there's nothing special here. It's just the BS about over-all design that turned me off. Unfortunately, the inside is stacked floor to ceiling with with eye sore pop culture Andy Worhol tomato can types of "high end" junk arts that make an otherwise well designed place cluttered with things nobody cares after the owner's gone.
Lovely view. But in addition to the cell tower noted by others, the house also sits on what is basically a cliff overlooking a city that has a history of serious earthquakes. Am I the only one who thinks this could be a problem when (not if) the next big shake comes along?
Haha. That's not a cell tower. That's Sutro Tower, which is one of the highest points in the city with beautiful vistas. It's legitimately a hill, and not a cliff. also, height has nothing to do with earthquakes. I'd understand if you had issues with that 20 mil price tag, but all the other stuff is part of the charm of San Francisco.
The best place to be in San Francisco during a quake is on a hill because of stability. Why you think a lot of structures in hills like pacific heights and twin peaks survived the San Francisco 1906 quake rather than landfill areas like downtown and the marina ?? The location in this video is called twin peaks. It’s not a cliff. It’s the highest point in San Francisco
San Francisco has some of the most expensive real estate in the world. It’s not property in Sandusky, Ohio with views of the neighbor’s 30 year old shed. Your ignorance is embarrassing.
modern architectural homes in the bay area are a dime a dozen, so are $10-20-30 million homes... well maybe not that much in this price range... lol, but the site of this home, well that's another story. twin peaks... the views from here are incredible... and far enough from the biggest issue in SF now...
The Sutro Tower is the second largest structure in the city. At 997 feet the TV/Radio tower is a prominent feature of this house. No wonder this property has been thru several price reductions and now has been delisted. Who at Sotheby post these houses. Please hire me and ill check that posted houses are still on sale. My god!
It is like many other contemporary homes but there is something special about each one. I would use the word UNIQUE to describe the house. He could have meant the view is iconic maybe.
Was that like a huge communications antenna over to the left of that property??..Like no matter how nice and well built a luxury property is, you wouldn't want to live next door to something carcinogenic like that.
Congrats to the owners of getting an inspiring view every morning and night.
Thanks
Best views in SF I've seen for a home.
Beautiful design and great views of SF.
Beautiful house.... But right under a telephone mast.
you don't own any motorhomes do you?
At least the reception is good
That is an iconic SF landmark.
What‘s the big deal? Most of the time, your mobile phone will emit more radiation than a mast of this size.

Beautiful and elegant house, I like the kitchen and outdoor space. The view is amazing 🧚🏻♀️
Having a view will cost money.
Came for the architecture left for the price
⭐️⭐️⭐️ The true STAR of this home is the views period
The only star you mean.
Romano Gitano how about the view of the cell tower?
@@Mike_M_Smith It's a TV/radio tower. Can you imagine living near that thing?
@@BadBoyHank it’s the Sutro Tower it’s 977 feet tall. It’s the second tallest structure in the city.
that master bedroom view is amazing
MAGNIFICENT!! 👌👍🙌
I can't even imagine what this house cost. The light fixture as you walk in cost big bucks and the 16' windows are priceless.....lol. Cool house!
20mm
Beautiful home.

Amazing views!!!
Interesting change from your usual videos to have the guy describe the house.
Gorgeous!

Great House!!!!✌🏻

Nice but I wasn’t expecting $20 millions for this
Xirz X nor the cell tower.

Welcome to California. This is why people are moving elsewhere in droves.
@@naisi actually they are not moving out in droves. It’s a very few numbers leaving but a quarter of those are covid deaths.

First! And thanks for the showcase. 😎
God bless you🙏💐💐💐💐💐🙏...,,,,
How did the videographer and editor expose for both the outside and the inside?
Too much ! Imagine the view especially San Francisco. Never have I seen a view like this. One hundred million.
Lovely home
How can I get the prices of these properties to see if I am even interested and wishing not to speak with anybody, just wishing the asking price. Ty.

$20 MILLION dollars should get you A LOT more than that.
20 million just for a house that’s a lot why not invest it lolol

Iconic
My Dream 🏡
Radio tower is a deal killer regardless of the price. Health risks aren't worth it.
Literally zero evidence that Sutro tower has caused health problems in the 50 years it’s been up.

Living under a radio tower......no thanks. Nice view though.
The lower your IQ, the more damages you get from a radio tower.
@@shahx1019 yeah, but that can be mitigated with tinfoil.
Price not reflecting current realities. More people leaving CA than staying or moving there. It’s’ best days are in the past.
Neighborrs are too close for the price!!!!!!!!!

Beautiful home but California!
Best state there is!
Красивый дом
That 0.1% life
Please stop using the word "ICONIC" so freely - this is a very beautiful home but NOT iconic in any way - homes like this are dime a dozen in LA.
I think he meant the location was iconic because of it sitting right below Sutro tower
It is like many other contemporary homes but there is something special about each one. I would use the word UNIQUE to describe the house. He could have meant the view is iconic maybe.
Well I wouldn’t use the word dime so freely about LA housing either ;))
It's not the nicest area in San Francisco, but it's not Hunters Point either.
In that case I’ll take a dozen.
Very very nájsz houze.

Except for the big old tower in you backyard...
That’s an S.F. landmark
that isnt just a "big old tower" ...hahahahahaaaaa
This house is 280 meters from the TV tower. In reality you won't notice it
Correct ~ "inverse squared law"
Hearing Laputa Castle In The Sky melody in the background music in this video lol
Як гарно без матів без слів сатанинських

Great view, but to invest $20 million into California right now is like using it as toilet paper.
Where is my pool? I want a pool, instead you give me a home working studio? When I usually am at home I do not want to hear anything about work.
you're nuts. who wants to voluntarily ride bart or commute in sf traffic? working at home is where its at
Pool? In San Francisco? 😂
California?? No thanks!
Good! Keep moving!
$3M +? No thanks! Miami penthouse over looking the beach
Its in san francisco so it will be worth nothing once all the businesses go under. People are fleeing.
the day all the businesses go under in sf is the day the US goes into another great depression lmao keep dreaming
Enjoy your socialist paradise Comrade!
Too bad this guy isn't "dynamic and quiet at the same time" so I could enjoy the video!
He did a good job, but I do miss the "dynamic and quiet" model just drifting from room to room...........
cut the esoteric, philosophical bullshit and give me details that are relevant to the house
SFO? No thanks
SF not SFO
SFO is the airport so no u don't wanna be in SFO cause they might wanna arrest your sorry behind. Get your geography rite 🤣🤣
"Iconic"? No!
"Akonic", probably.
Beautiful home.
