@kemu-maki 1. I didn't post it on the Foul social media pages and 2. How is it fake when it was the game broadcast literally saying it? The *content* is literally real. Now, you can question the subject matter. However, I can easily believe someone as connected as Joe Davis.
We’re potentially looking at three straight years of October Mookie-Freddie choking saga. They will simply pitch around Ohtani. Nothing much to celebrate here other than we got the win we desperately needed to secure the division.
Starting pitchers are struggling a bit right now. Several brain farts running the bases on occasions. Way too many defensive lapses as of late. Many, many, many inning ending double plays (and a recent game ending triple play). The bats are asleep 😴 at the most inopportune times. And a notoriously inconsistent bullpen. Adding all this up and I definitely have to be more than a little bit concerned about our chances for postseason success. It was a good win last night, but we NEED TO WAKE THE FUCK UP!!!!!
We got the important win vs their ace. We held on with a 1 run lead against a tough team. We have the best record in baseball. Mookie will be back. You cant buy a world series, all the stars must align and atm with our pitching woes our stars arent looking so lovely but we will see. Im just going to enjoy the win and hope bueller steps up tonight and we can slam the door on the west. Its depressing to see so much negativity immediately after a big win in so many comments, but guess thats Dodger fans... Go Dodgers!
Ohtani IS HIM! Mookie needs to stop pressing. Freddie came back. Teo needs to be extended. Muncy still has that eye and keeps drawing walks. Smith getting those runners at second again. Edman...he's just great. Lux getting some knocks and back on track. Miggy still our SS linchpin, hope he's okay. Flaherty kept us in it against one tough Padres lineup. And the bullpen as a whole, are just lights out.
@@alldodgers Max drawing multiple walks is kind of what he does a lot. But yeah Mookie needs to not step up, but step down. I think he's pressing WAY too much trying to be the hero like you said. Will too. Although both had their hard contact deep outs over the last two games. But this game from Mookie was just super ugly.
So as predicted mookie had a love connection with tatis fing jr as his latest guest on podcast. This is exactly what is wrong with this bunch. In pennant race and mooks is sleeping with the enemy
I would start with Mookie batting 2nd. But after the 1st game I wouldn't doubt on droping him to 8th if needed, they can't afford to give him (or anyone) a lot of time to "figure it out". Sadly, we all know Doc isn't going to do that
As mid as Flaherty looked today, how are we going to be mad about 3 runs against a Padres team we think is the best team for October, who have been the defacto best team in baseball since the All-Star break? Are we just saying it's only Jack being bad and nothing to do with how little the Padres strike out? I don't think Flaherty was good today, I do think he was good enough. And frankly, all you need is "good enough" with the offense potential and this bullpen. Would we like better starters? Abso-fucking-lutely. But the ideal isn't what we're getting. But did Cease really doing any better? NO! So why are we bitching?
@ryanc9876 very fair. I think i accepted "mid" as a lazy "good enough. He did his job and kept the team in the ballgame. Now, I'll reaffirm here what I mentioned in the stream, the Dodgers don't have an ace entering October. Doesn't mean they can't win it all, just means it'll likely be a fair bit harder to do it.
@@alldodgers No doubt, and I wasn't specifically targeting you. I just gotta let people know that technically Cease's lines were worse, marginally. One more hit, one less strikeout. I do wish it was better but it was a tough tough game for both teams. edit: And generally I believe "mid" has a heavily negative connotation these days.
One of those rbi hit he gave was a good low slider thet was an excuse me hit also. I would have like for him to go a little deeper but he didn't do thst bad. He battled and kept it close enough for the bullpen to take over and the bats to win it.
I always knew Ohtani was the goat, but i think he has ascended to being an elephant that can carry 8 grown men 😂
Well he had YEARS of practice with the Halos! Also, great comment!

Mookie wasn’t like this in Boston, 2020, 21’ or 22’.. he’ll be fine y’all putting too much pressure on him.
If "HIM" and "dog" had a baby, it's Shohei

@ryanc9876 if Mookie can be Mookie and Max can chip in here and there, this team is in a great spot.

Don’t put Smith in the same category as betts when Will Smith has contributed more this series than mookie.
DODGERS DODGERS 🤘

Also I don't usually do too many comments per video but I missed the live stream and I'm sad I didn't get to join the chat like I normally do. =[
Bic lighter Walker Buehler takes the mound tomorrow so buckle up! There will be Turbulence!!!
I lost 10 tonight
