I went to one clinic in Turkey and it was a absolute catastrophic experience for me. When I first contacted this clinic they wanted to see my pics and told me I need 1,600 to maximum 2,000 grafts. I really just wanted to have my hairline done. When I arrived at the clinic they said it will be round about 4,000 grafts and they even wanted to take hair out of my beard. That is an absolute no-go, I was not told this before. As a fact the whole consultation with the doctor in the clinic in Istanbul was only 3 min, since he already left for the next patient. I felt so uncomfortable that I canceled the whole plan and didn’t do it. It was so unprofessional.
Sometimes when we get the quote for the grafts the balding is still happening so the quote can increase. I was quoted 1600-2500 grafts in September last year. When I arrived 7 months later I needed 4,000 grafts they said as it progressed. We settled on 3,700 grafts.
technicia ns can do better work than doctors. If technicians doing extractions for longer than 5 years a day with 3000 extractions per client, they have a lot of experiance. The problem is the high speed micro-motor. If a technician makes every day 3000 slits on the head he or she has a lot of experience. You have to check how long the clinic exists - if longer than than 10 years it is a good. And - do not go to a company which does more than 2 clients per team a day. If you have 10 Teams you can do 20 clients a day. If they only have 2 teams, they can do maximum 2 clients per team a day, depends on how many grafts per client they extract. I went to a company, they only did me, started in the morning and finised their work after me. They did 4000 grafts in one day.
Yeah dude but the reality is a rookie Turkish tech is more experienced then anyone around the world. They put in the hours.. sometimes price is nice but experience is much more valuable..
@@Noucheize doing your HT in England or Germany for example can be a mistake too because these countries are not expierenced enough. Not every HT in Turkey is bad but because many people tend to go for the cheaper HTs many clinics in turkey started to exploit this behaviour. that´s why we see so many failed HTs from turkey. That´s why i said "just do your research and you should be fine". You can find quality clinics but finding them is the challenge.
@MrRoberto984 What has age gotta do with it?? Lol. Stabilise? Hair loss doesn't stabilise, lol. It keeps getting worse. Get on finasteride or dutasteride and have a hair tranplant if you still need/want one.
no bro. I talk a lot about it because it is a big destination for getting hair transplant. Hundreds of guys from all around the world fly there daily to have their hair transplanted in TR.

I agree 100%. If a person does something over and over again for a long time, they're going to become good at it. What company did you use?
So what are the "exceptions?“

Great clinics in Australia??
Go Bangkok, more experienced and cheaper.
I did mine with Fr. Dr. Otberg in Berlin and she worked for 2 days on me (3300 grafts). So idk what are they doing in Turkey.

So tread very cautiously or, really, avoid Turkey, if possible?
No, just do your research and you should be fine
@@randomguy-kn1wl well, this is part of my research. He hardly seemed to endorse this route. Cost seems to trump quality in general.
@@Noucheize I would avoid Turkey all together honestly. There are much better options in Europe.
