I am an addiction therapist for online addiction in germany and I have to say, that the coming policy in China (1h on weekdays and just 2h on weekend days) makes me jealous. Of cause people in china will go around it in some ways, but it would be a big hit to reduce the consumption.

I don't know about video game regulation, but they definitely need regulation for soda and sugary foods, a lot of uneducated Chinese parents love their kids to be chubby and obese, they think it's cute and a sign of wealth, so they cram their kids with sugary foods and carp. You see a lot of those on Chinese TikTok. I bet a lot of those kids will grow up hating their parents.
