ProTip for people doing this: You don't have to disconnect the motor cable, it can remain on the controller board with waterproofing intact and you slide it out together with the motor, saves some time and trouble re-applying new silicone.

my wheel didn't want to slide out. had done it before to change tire twice. I had to use lots of force to make it slide out and at end wiggle it out. I had to drill off 2 screw heads and remove with pressure pliers. ( don't know proper word ). the end result is amazing. Feels better than new. It's a must have for this wheel, it should have been there from the start by kingsong.

How can you take the bearings out to replace them in the future? It seems the bearings in this solution are in front of the screws and looks impossible to replace them in the future...

Sixteen wheels to be tapped on with a Chinesium stud… 🤔 The sooner that KS fix this straight from the factory, the sooner they will regain something of their credibility, after all its their design that is being bettered/redesigned here. Now, what about that motherboard, pads and lacklustre performance from that slipping stator motor?

this is a poor design from Kingsong, obviously. not convinced by this fix. bearings dont always spin in a dual channel, and theres not enough material to support the times when they dont. opposing bearings are needed here. a solid bar of nyloil may be a better solution. time will tell.
I knew someone would do this.i seen the 3d printed ones and was like no no no and fck no, how long you think plastic is going to hold doing trails and jump..... This is a far better more durable system fcking thank you so much. How reliable is this? I mean it looks sturdy hoe much testing has been done it is alot of money for this.

It needs sealed struts like in a motorbike, mountain bike or the new Sherman S.
