As an older person, I never thought I would have a pop band ever affect me like those from my teens. Depeche Mode, The Cure, New Order, and so forth have formed my musical soundtrack and Chvrches taps into exactly what the world, and me personally, needs. Openness, honesty, vulnerability, grit, and so much more. Screen Violence is one of the most pristine impactful albums I've heard in a long time and I'm so stoked they made it themselves. I hope they continue down that road. They really need no outside producers.
While I agree I just have to point out that angels are genderless "men". Lauren has an awesome voice and is beautiful but she seems to be too much of an aesthete (kinda like lady gaga but at the same time nothing like alike) to be someone that is "easy to handle" or get along with.
Not to be like that, but cry for what? only thing it made me do was crying from laughing so much haha. That game and most Japanese games are so LOL. Maybe i wish i could understand the convoluted and stupid plott of all this games :)

My favourite part is "There's no Rap" Love it! Genuine musicians that love synth and vocals, like old school with a modern touch, but this gal can sing with such a great haunting voice just like the cranberrys and sundays....they are going far!!!

Chvrches are amazing but damn, their acoustic stuff hits so much harder. It's weird because you can hear it's not MEANT to be acoustic, and that's what adds this deep yet ethereal feeling. So amazing. I think they should do a fully acoustic hits album.
